Hey Kathy - hang in there - I am very sure this is probably not serious as I think Judd would have noticed or felt pain or something? Probably swollen glands but I am SO GLAD he is taking this seriously and seeing the dr asap. Please let us know what he says! We are thinking of you!

I am now enjoying a nf decaf moccachino - yes it had some whipped cream on top, but I really needed a pick me up this afternoon. Still have a festering headache which I'm sure will get worse as I head home.
Have not spoken w/dh today altho I did send him some emails/info. He has chosen not to respond I guess - nor did he call me to see how I'm doing (which he usually does o a daily basis). I wish I knew how to cheer him up!
Might head home early in any case as our computers here are all acting up and it is so frustrating to have to reboot every few minutes! I understand it was like this yesterday as well and I sure hope they have this fixed by tomorrow!
My tummy is also feeling grumbly? and a bit upset as I have been a frequent visitor to the washroom today - thinks it's due to TOM hormones which usually have this effect on me! Oh well!
Hey, all. He's back from the doctor and they said it was a mass that has to come out. He's got an appointment to see the surgeon on Nov. 4 and I guess surgery will be scheduled after that. The doctor said chances are that it's nothing, so he feels better now and so do I.
It is quiet this afternoon; what's everybody up to? I'm going crazy with the thought that I have to stay until 6:30 tonight -- so I might leave at 5:30 and just tack another hour onto what I have to work next Friday. At this rate, I'll definitely be here all day.
I suppose the surgeon will do some tests. Judd asked the primary doctor if surgery was elective, and he said no due to the rapid growth. It wasn't there 6 weeks ago when he got a haircut. He said the doctor didn't seem too concerned so I guess that's why he feels better.
My goodness, you leave for the afternoon, and see what you miss! My best wishes for you all who are struggling, and your families. Yowza!
I'm just puttering around today, getting my slide show ready for our church dinner on Thursday. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. It should get some tears, hopefully.
frouf, i'm still thinking "go running naked screaming in the woods." i didn't know there was decaf non fat cappucino! thanks for the heads up. we'll prob go to perkins family restaurant and i'll prob have to order hot tea. i am slowly going "into training" now. that means i'm off caffeine but am still twiddling a little with sugar. i'll be off sugar soon.
kathy, that sounds like good news. did the doctor call it a (and i won't spell this right.) a sebatious cyst? i have had some and they were just masses and nothing else. my mother also had them. most often they appear in hairy areas. maybe that's what judd has. i am very glad he got in to see the doctor quickly. the "unknown" is most often the worst part of something like this.
angela, i'll bet your slide show is awesome. billie's been creating one for church, too. you girls are quite talented.

melissa, i may not get my walking in today. i had a tired spell this afternoon and took a nap. we're going to that survival thingee in a few minutes so i'll be taping bl. if i'm not too tired tonight, i'll walk to the taping when we get home. enjoy your walk.
I'm definitely having a UTI reoccurence. Doc doesn't want to give me any more meds until I get "dipped". So Jim and I have appointments on Thursday at noon. Until then I'm flushing with as much water as I can. Then, to top it off, I came up lame. I think the heel spur in my right foot is acting up. It feels like a bruise and I can't put any weight (and I have alot) on it. They shoot horses don't they?
I'm off to the couch with the heating pad for my stomach. It probably isn't good for the UTI but it makes me feel a bit better.
Well here I am. I've been up since 2:00. Couldn't go back to sleep. UTI has defnitely returned and I'm miserable. I thought I'd come here and talk to myself for a while. Jim is up too because he can't sleep either. His shoulder has been bothering him alot again. He had the cortisone shot in January and it worked for a while. He's struggling with whether or not he should have surgery. What a pair.
How am I going to last for another 24 hours? Ugh. I guess I'll drink as many fluids as possible. Would the ice pack be better than heat? When I was laying with the heating pad last night, I wondered if I was making the bacteria breed faster. What a head case, huh? Any home remedies besides cranberry juice?
Ok, I guess I'll go surf some more. We have the heating maintenance appointment today as well as the dishwasher repair. I'm hoping I'll be exhausted enough to nap after that.
There are some weird home remedies out there on the internet. Jim just came back from buying me Uristat. I know it won't cure the problem but I'm hoping it will make me more comfortable until I can get to the Dr.
Ok, I've been surfing for HOURS and talking to myself here. I'm off to shower for our appointments.
Angela, I wish I felt I could rise to the level of your opinion. I'm hanging in there. I'm really just trying to get through until my appointment with my Doctor tomorrow!
I'm feeling hungry and tired and I'm trying not to eat.
The heating guy is here now. The dishwasher guy is expected between 10-12. Then.....lunch and a nap for both of us.
