I have been trying to get back on track for a week now and need the accountability of this thread. I was cruising along and then I went on a 7 day cruise (literally) and lost it. I've been back a week now and each day I start out OP but end of losing focus before the day is over. Today has to be the day that I make it through. So far so good! Today was also the first day that I've walked in about 4 weeks.
Last night ended with some unplanned snacks of 5 Hershey Kisses and 2 servings of reduced fat Club crackers. I need to give away all the chocolate that is in my house or I will end up eating it all.
Way to go GettinFit!! Stringing those 100% OP days together is what wins the prize. Love your food, and glad you're on Lacerta's thread also, so the two of you can enter onederland together. I like that you wrote Today's Plan for your food. I like writing out my food ahead of time also. Because no plan is a plan for failure. And it trains my brain to be mindful of what I'm sticking in my mouth. Have a great OP day
Thanks for the words of encouragement Follena. Yes we WILL get to onederland I am so looking forward to having a 1 in front of my weight. I will be cheering you on!!!
I am restarting today. Yesterday was a flot but today is a new day. After clearing all the junk from my house,a friend gave me a box of gingerbread chocolates and made me promise that I would not give them away. I had a mini binge with them. I have had my fill of chocolate for a while and am ready to get back to eating good .
My plan for today:
B: orange, string cheese, black coffee
L: chicken breast, peppers & onions, 1 tbsp sour cream, broccoli
D: ground beef patty, peppers & onions, cucumber
S: handful of nuts
Exercise: Walked for 40 mins
Hi there! I would love to join you! GettinFit it's weekend boater here. I just spent the last 2 hours looking for my pass and to no avail but found my ancient one! Go figure! Needless to say, very happy to see you and I miss all the chicks! I will be popping in to say hi to Diana and the gang too, and yes I need to get my tail back in gardener's exercise thread which I miss immensely as well!
I don't know if you remember that move I had but let's just say that things escalated from there in as far as busy wise. Lot's of construction and a very busy summer but we plan to chill this summer, I really hope it happens this year because we need a break! All is well. I did unfortunately slide since moving here but that's my own doing and what is done is done, I want to focus now on today and the future! Taking it one day at a time!
Right now, my goal is just to get back OP and take it one day at a time as I did before, put my meal plans in place and be more active (I have to work at it this time of year). The rest will follow as long as I do well.
Bravo for starting the thread, I wish you a wonderful healthy and happy new year and that goes out to everyone! Tomorrow is essentially day one for me again girl so I will go to the market in the morning, have my meal plan in place and just focus on that right now. My goal is also to keep up with my posts and write as much as I can, whether it be a good or bad day.....we know how helpful that can be.
Well hello there "Weekend Boater" and welcome back!. It's so nice to hear from you. I'm glad you have your construction behind you as I'm sure that was a huge project. I hope that you are able to enjoy the summer with your weekend trips Things have been crazy for me but it was nice to have almost the entire month of Dec off work. I was hoping that I would get a severance package last month and retire but that didn't happen so I have to work a few more years. Today was my official restart day. I kept trying to get back on track last week. I'd have a good day and then lose it the next day. Finally, today my head is in the right place. It always feel good to start off on Jan 1. I'm looking forward to hearing about your successes. I think I will also join the exercise challenge to make sure I stay on track with my exercise during these winter months.
We are going to be success stories soon so let's keep up the good work

Hi Emma and to 3FC. I wish you much success with your weight loss journey. I am trying really hard to get control of my eating/appetite and so far, today has been good but I'm fighting the munchies right now. I just chewed some gum so hopefully that will help
