Peacock, I can imagine that everything will be lifting if you have to keep walking up thirteen floors. That's the way to do it, that walk must be as good as a session of step aerobics any day.
Was just thinking of Carol and just noticed the post above yours. It says she's walked a mile and is off for another one. WHere has the girl gone, is she still walking? I miss her. Come back Carol

Hey if the lift was working I wouldn't be walking up the stairs!! I moaned enough going down the stairs for our 1 am fire alarm session! One thing though, it has stopped me nipping out to Sainsbury's for a little something (usually fattening). Believe me when you know you hae to walk up 13 flights you have to be really desperate to pop out for a little something!

A doctor will probably tell you that a brisk walk is just as good as all the other exercises. My last doctor encouraged my walking. I do enjoy it but wish I had a dog to walk. My mum said she used to walk miles with the pram but a I do not have a baby or a pram. When the weather is better I shall go back to walking in the parks around here. There is quite a bit of green space in West London.

The lift is fixed! It was fixed last night. However I think that is a bad idea. I walked up one flight today at work and seem to have reverted back to being a puffing billy. I was going to walk down this morning but a lift came too quick. However, as it takes a while usually for the lift to come I may try walking down in future. Yeah right!

Not uphill and upstairs I bet! (beat you! wonder how many miles those damn stairs were!!)

I hope the scenery was nice. Nothing worse than chocking on car fumes when you are walking along or dodging sputum and worse!

Curves and walking with dogs for me again today. One lady at curves tonight was very energetic on the recovery stations, like very aerobic, hands and legs all over the place, she made me feel knackered watching her, I just jog on the spot. Maybe that's why I'm fat and she was a skinny minnie
