Tuscany I'm a Fine Arts major, so mostly drawing and painting with a few other visual arts mediums thrown in. This is my last year and then I plan to transfer out and get a degree in Psychology. After that then it's off to grad school for my end goal of a degree and licensure in Art Therapy.

8/3 - 162.5
8/4 - 163

Good job wolfgirl, junebug, and Ggirl!

Lene, what a fun weekend your described! And I know what you mean about weigh-ins during TOM. Mother Nature just decided to join me on my vacation. Not fun!

Tuscany! My word, chickie! You've lost almost 3 lbs in 5 days! Good for you!

Turtle, yay on the loss! Just don't go too wild at the "thing" and you'll be okay.

Pixiekat, good job staying OP!

Tray, not too bad, just get back OP and you'll be fine. If the weekends are getting you, just try to plan them out a little better, and/or reward yourself with a little something if you stay OP. You got this!

TOM caught up with me, dang it, but I'm still having lots of fun and staying OP!

8/1: 202
8.2: 202
8/3: 201
8/4: 201
8/5: 201

Thanks Jacqui, definitely should plan. With work during the week it's so easy to plan out eating what I brought in and just not leaving the office to get the horrible foods that I wind up getting over the weekend. The month is young though, and daily weigh ins definitely shed light on my habits more.

Up a little but I'm not worried so much now that I've seen it go down this month. Fluctuations happen.

SW: 79.6kgs
CW: 79.3
GW: 78

Turtle11: Yay for moving down!

wolfgirl69: good for you for realizing it's going to take some time to process all that drama.

Jacqui_D: way to go with being on plan on vacaton!

Tuscany: DH set our scale in kgs years ago for some project he was doing. I left it there because I discovered I have less of an emotional attachment to the numbers in kgs, making it easier to think of the scale number as simply data.

I GOT THE JOB!!! I will be personalizing ornaments at a Christmas store. Listening to Christmas day in and day out will get old fast but at least I finally have a job! It's a seasonal job so it will end at Christmas but I can probably transfer this skill to another store or something that does personalizations.

Pixi I don't know yet for grad school but I'm in the application process for Trinity Lutheran College out in Washington.

CONGRATS Leah on the job! I have two interviews this week, one tomorrow on campus and one yet to be scheduled past "sometime this week" at a hotel near me. Hopefully I get as lucky as you cause I am SOOOO BORED home all day!

Washington is supposed to be really pretty! I've always wanted to visit, I have a friend in Sea/Tac that I want to try to go see. I'll cross my fingers on the application for you

No change for me this morning, although I can hardly complain...at least my recent losses seem to be sticking.

Aug 1: 157.25
Aug 2: 156.75 (-0.50)
Aug 3: 156.00 (-0.75)
Aug 4: 155.25 (-0.75)
Aug 5: 154.50 (-0.75)
Aug 6: 154.50 (0.00)

GW: 149.00

Turtle: Fingers crossed for the "169.x"! You're SO close...it will be here VERY soon. And, of course, as soon as you get there, you'll be wanting to see the "15x".

Lene: No worries about spelling or typos…it's only diet and exercise that count here. Hope the scales are kind to you soon, despite TOM.

Pixi: BOO scale BOO...but, you're right, when we start a new workout our bodies do retain more water to help to repair the little tears we've placed in our muscles. Those are all good things. Good luck with your job search.

Leah: Congratulations on the job!! Fine Arts & Psychology leading to Art Therapy…what a fascinating choice. Way to go on the recent loss.

GardenerJoy: Interesting philosophy on the kg, and you're right, it's not good to get too hung up on the numbers.

Jacqui: You're hanging steady…that's a great result while on vacation.

junebug: Not to worry, your recent gain will soon reverse. I know what you mean. I also try to do too much at times, which is when I forget about eating properly and exercising…no more of that for me either.

GordonGirl: Congrats on the loss. You'll be in the 150's very soon!

bg124: Hope today is better than yesterday! Nice to see your weight loss is sticking.

TrayTeam: Better luck next weekend!

Bg, Congrats on the 1/2lb!! It's very exciting to see such a big loss

Tuscany, you grew up in England? My grandmother was a war bride from Luton. She passed recently but I was crazy about her. Did you grow up drinking tea? My entire family including my Mom, uncles, brothers, myself and even my kids have tea time. I was my grandmother's namesake and mini me and I definitely have an English heart. Sorry I digressed! I'm glad your numbers are sticking! I think upping the exercise gave your body the little shake up it needed. I'm so proud of you!!

Turtle, Wahoo on the 60's!! I'm hoping to join you soon!

Sum, yay on the loss!

Leah, Congratulations on getting the job and having the scale moving the right way!!!

Jacqui, Glad you are having a wonderful time and behaving yourself on your trip! Don't let Mother N. ruin your fun

Pick, wishing you the best of luck on your interviews this week!

Joy, I love the thought of being disengaged from the numbers on the scale, switching to kg is brilliant!

Tray, I think Jacqui gave you great advice about planning your weekends better. I spent the last couple of months eating well during the week and poorly on the weekends. It didn't get me anywhere! The month is young, onward and upward (unless you're the number on the scale) Good Luck!!

Have a great day!!!
