Kelsey, are you able to add a walk or two in during your week? Like an evening constitution! My DH and I used to do that after dinner quite a bit but we stopped. It might help a bit, even light exercise.

I know I gain and stall from stress, so maybe some yoga (dvd or youtube or there are a few sites that have free videos) a nice destressing bath, massage and make sure you are getting in your sleep Be sure to make time for you!

Weigh in this morning was 288.8 (loss of 3lbs).

Kelsey--try some of the things Jordanna suggested, but remember that your body takes time to adjust and even though you are following the program to a T it's doing its thing. I also agree with xanthia in that stress can make you hold onto the weight. Try a lite walk in the evening if you can and as hard as it is try not to think about the numbers but how you feel having lost 30lbs. You can do this. Keep on truckin'.

I weighed in this morning at 186. Down 4 pounds. Thanks, Jordanna.

Kelsey: I don't blame you being frustrated. Ugh! Last week I was travelling and lost my luggage. Didn't have any IP food, which was really bad planning on my part. So tried to watch carbs and basically did an atkins type thing. Did have 2 glasses of wine. Anyway came home last friday and was down 2 pounds. Saturday down another 2 pounds. Been doing boot camp since then and scale hasn't moved since Saturday. Go figure! If it was me I'd try the extra protein packet. Keep the faith, sister!

Hang in there Kelsey! You've been doing so well! I was convinced that I'd have a much bigger loss than 1.6 lbs this week since my clothes are much looser. Oh well...maybe stress does play a factor because it was a rough week. Maybe you do need to shock your system with a little cheat or extra packet in order to get a response. Whatever you do, don't give up!

Hey Jordanna-Weigh in on Sunday 6/6 (first weigh in) was 234, lost a total of 8 1/2 inches overall! I know we're not counting inches for this challenge, but I had to share!

Kelsey-Don't give up! I weighed myself yesterday morning and was up a pound which was frustrating. Weighed myself this morning and was back down that pound, plus. The small losses (and gains) are just a normal part of life. I know they suck, but you have to think about things like is your TOM coming up, did you have extra salt (water retention), were you super stressed out lately? Be strong, I know the weight will come off for you. I've read quite a few people's posts who said they slowed down after a while, but stuck it out and eventually they saw big losses again. As far a "cheat" goes, I've found that a Tbsp. of natural peanut butter goes a long way. I have the Skippy brand natural which has like 3 ingredients and only 6g of carbs in 2Tbsp. You can really milk a Tbsp of peanut butter when you want to! It gives you the "I'm eating normal food" feeling without totally throwing you off program. Something to think about. Hang in there!

Jordanna!...Yes! the day did make a difference. I am at 155lbs, so down 4lbs Finally some good movement!!

Kelsey... I know EXACTLY how you are feeling, Jordanna had to give me the pep talk 2 weeks ago. I was stuck in the 160's for a month. So starting last Monday I stopped my walking, ( not that I did much, lol), and I added another NON-restricted packet. So I am having 4 packets a day, no restricted items. I also added an extra 20oz of water. It seems to have worked, I haven't had a drop like this in 4 weeks! I also think that our bodies can get stuck on a set of numbers for a while, perhaps testing us a little. Try not to be too discouraged, celebrate how well you have done so far, and stick with it, and I am POSITIVE that you will soon find yourself with an awesome drop. You are beautiful

Hi Calgarygirlie - we're are on the same path with starting weight and height. How did you decide for 140 to be your goal weight? I chose 150 at random, but am now thinking about changing my goal since IP is working so well. How long have you been on the program?

Hiya Sweet - I'm a bit confused, I thought you started the challenge at 168? so are you 155 or 165? Also, if you are 165 isn't that 3 lbs down since the start? Just making sure I'm accurately reporting, so let me know!

My bad Jordanna, sorry! I posted this message in the wrong thread. I meant starting weight when I began IP, not this particular challenge.

For this challenge my starting weight was 168 and after my first WI yesterday I was 166.4 (-1.6). My goal weight for the challenge is 158.

It's been one of those days...

Thank you all for the kind words!!! I'm determined, and you're all right, I know I can do this. I'm not sure which ideas I will try, but I will try something!

Kelsey - I'd suggest you start walking, that's what I did when I stalled in April and it made a world of difference!!
