I am getting worried I am not going to make it to the 10! I have been better than good this week, so have to figure out what I can do to boost my loss for the final WI. Regardless, any loss is good, I made the 20 lb. challenge. My weight trainer told me tonight I am becoming too obsessed with my weight. I think after this, I have to quit obsessing over it so much and focus on something more constructive, like dwindling sizes . I am looking better, feeling better, so I need to stop worrying about how fast this weight comes off, things are moving in the right direction, no matter how fast or slow they move, they are moving. Have a good week everyone, no matter how the numbers turn out, I am going to keep doing my best and will be happy knowing I did.

I don't know if I am going to make this goal. 162.5 for WI. I don't have an official weigh in again til 7/26 because coach is out of town and then I go out of town. Also, starting TOM in a couple days. I am giving it a "push" to see if I can reach 159.5 for the 10 pounds. WE'LL see!

The challenge goes till July 6th (ish) right? We still have another WI after this week? Everyone is talking like we are at the last one! I WI tomorrow, but I doubt I'll hit my 10 by then, but maybe next week

I have never posted on a forum before - guess that shows my age - so I may not be doing this correctly. I have been on IP since June 1. I am wondering why I am not having the incredible success you all are having. Some of the areas that I am thinking may be preventing me from the amazing weight loss I am reading about are tomatoes (I tend to have them more often than 2x a week), diet soda (although I only drink Diet Rite Zero), and salad dressing (2T but not Walden Farms). I am not exercising, but I was told that I wasn't supposed to be! Any other reasons you can come up with for my lack of weight loss? I have lost SOME weight - just nothing compared to what people posting on this website have experienced. Thanks!

cut out the sodas and the dressing-try sparkling water and olive oil/vinegar instead.

sodas prevent you from losing BIG TIME, the aspartame and other artificial sweetners and citric acid supposedly slow it down.

dressings can be high in sugar and carbs unless you're closely watching the carbs/fat/calories. 2 Tbsp of regular dressing can have 120 calories, 4 g fat(OR more!) and 15 carbs, this twice a day will probably kick you out of ketosis.

also, try and spread out your tomates like 1/8 cup everyday if you have to have them on a daily basis. cherry and grape tomatoes are high in sugar.

I'm so excited!! I weighed in today at 157...down 4.2 lbs. So not only am I finally in the 150s, but I succeeded in the challenge and am now only 7 lbs away from my goal!!! I think I might revise my goal to 140 lbs now...will discuss with my coach next week! Good luck to all in the homestretch now..you can do it!!
