Wink On The Road Again!!!!

Well everyone, I finally started back today. I had a omelet for breakfast with mixture of peppers.....a cup of yogurt for snack......salad for lunch.....watermelon snack....and for dinner I am going to have red beans and rice with broccoli. I have to say that the Biggest Loser t.v. show, is always my motivation, I get so hyped when I see everyone's results. Granted they do have someone pushing them along the way, however, I am just in awe.....everytime when they get on that scale. That's my motivation....I figure if they can do it I can to!!!! I worked out today for an hour I am pumped!

Congrats Miss Vee for working out an hour yesterday. I cleaned the bathroom for an hour and a half yesterday and let me tell you, i was sweating up a storm!! So i counted that as my work out. For dinner last night, i had scrambled egg whites and morningstar's breakfast scramble (peppers, onions, and their veggie sausage), and some brown rice with herb flavoring...it was quite delicious. For dinner snack, my family went to Friendly's and i got there frozen yogurt (low-fat sugar free of course), which was quite good. But the bad thing is, im sick today! i hate being sick. I'm still sticking with the diet and ate my oatmeal for breakfast and having veggie soup for lunch. LOTS OF Fruits to help!

Hey Lonzo, I only use zatarans its not going to hurt you at all. I have used the dirty rice, black beans and rice and the red beans and rice. They did not affect me or my weight!! Hey Goaldown I can agree with you, anytime I have to do heavy cleaning thats also substituted for my workout as well. So if you did that your greattttttt. This was day 2 for me not so bad, I guess I am used to this diet now, no big deal (yeah right)....lol....but I am hanging in there!

Hey All

It's been a while since I have updated everyone on my progress. I have been doing very well. Since the last time I updated I have reached and exceeded 20 lbs lost on Fat Smash. I am now at 24 lbs lost since I started July 16th. I have been eating all types of things including somethings I shouldn't but I have also purchased a used (slightly, the woman used it 10 times and it's only 2 yrs old) treadmill. I am on it 5 days a week. I combine the treadmill with my 8 minute Tae Bo work out and some ab work.

All in all I am happy, I have only 2 pairs of jeans that I cannot fit. Everything else is falling off of me. It's crazy. I've actually had ppl ask me if I have been losing weight because they can see a significant difference in my body and in my face. Soooo very happy. My bf loves it and even though he told me all the time before I started losing the weight that I was beautiful for some reason now I believe him a little bit more. Yes weird but whatever.

I hope everyone else is doing well. Hi MissVee, Hi GoalDown how ya'll doing?

Smile Cool Beans!

Hey Feirliss, your right its been awhile. Girlllll you have been kicking butt! I'm glad to hear that you doing so well, keep up the good work! It does feel great when people ask that question, are you losing weight? Then they want to know what your doing. It all seems so simple and it like a piece of cake when explaining it to everyone. Their just in awe and can't believe that it really works, I guess thats because the weight seems to come off so fast. Don't be a stranger, drop in every now and again. I hope everyone has had wonderful results as well!

well i finished P2W1 on Wednesday morning. not to happy with the results. only 1.5 pounds lost and i didnt cheat once. i only ran twice but i was very strict on my diet. i only ate meat 3 times the whole week. the rest was staying with P1. i dont understand because i know i am losing BF% because my pants are much looser after only 2 weeks. what i am afraid of is the weight i am at. every time i diet whenever i hit 190 it stops. i can never get below 189-190. wednesday morning i was at 190.5. will let u all know more this wednesday.

Default stop it!

Lonzo, just stop it. Stop it RIGHT NOW!! Listen to yourself......"my pants are looser"...you have stayed on phase I...the scale is a very, very sub-standard way of measuring health/body fat/ fitness...it is just easy..a quick fix...if you are staying true to Phase I with a few meat additoins......wow! And your body volume, via looser fitting pants is proving it. Stop it! Just don't fall into that POUNDS LOST trap. Stay with it....you are doing great.....the scale will eventually follow the reality.....better yet, throw the bum (scale) out!!!

Smile Keep On Moving !

Lonzo, sounds like you have hit a plateau, it happens don't be discouraged. Maybe you need to get amped up and add some weight training, that worked wonders for me.....I went through the same thing. However, if I lose inches thatS still wonderful so you shoud be very proud of yourself. Get stricter with your work-outs, I think thats where the problem lies. Everyone have a wonderful weekend:-)

Hi All,
I just got this in another email and thought it applies!

The question:
What are some ways I'll know if I'm getting healthier?
The Answer:
Oh, what a great question! And phrased in the most conscious way! You clearly are beginning to understand the real way to health and happiness – it's not just about losing weight. It's about your overall health and quality of life.

There are lots of signals and signs other than getting on a scale: How do you feel? Are your clothes fitting better? How's your level of energy? Are you able to participate in life more than before? Can you manage difficult emotions any easier? How's the quality of your relationships (spouse, family, friends, co-workers)? Is food less important to you? Are you finding new satisfactions in spiritual practice or physical activity?

Most importantly, are you able to let go of problems, excesses and unrealistic expectations?

have a great week all!

Hi all

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I'm great I gained a pound but yea no biggie for me. I have decided to go back to Phase I since I am kinda tired of Phase 4 and also to boost my weight loss again. I'm going shopping Saturday and starting Phase I sunday. I asked my bf to do it with me he said he's rather be on a modified phase II so I am alone. He said he would exercise with me so I'm happy about that at least. My treadmill is gonna hate me after this week. LOL

I hope everyone else is doing good.

See ya
