I agree with the suggestions you had for yourself as far as seeing the Phase 1 loss you are hoping for. More water would have been my first suggestion and also making sure you are eating every 3 hours or so.
Last year when I 'smashed,' I followed the program to the letter, exercise and all. I started with the 30 minutes of cardio in Phase 1, and worked up to the hour in Phase 4, which is where I sort of fell apart. But this year I didn't do it. So I am starting tomorrow with the 30 minutes and then work up from there. I think it is a main reason why my Phase 2 and 3 losses haven't been as high. I find it is best for me to walk before work. Good for you doing an hour!!
My official Phase 3, week 1 results are a maintain. I'll take it! I'm getting off lucky with that! (oh, and last year I got to 197, but just for a very short time before things went the other way. I can't wait to get back to the 1's for good.)
