Woke up today with a horrible sugar craving! Decided to try the oatmeal cookie recipe, and they were delish! Inspires me to try more of the recipes featured on the FS section of the forum! Anyone have favorites??
Wow! we had a BIG thunder & lightening show last night, and it looks like another one today. I was on the treamill this morning and about 40min into my workout the power went out from the massive storm. Well, I ate on plan and I feel pretty good right now, not so bloated feeling that I usually have, so maybe I'm down a pound. I'm not going to weigh-in until day 9 or is it after day 9, O.k. so day 10 I'll weigh-in. I hope you all have a smashing day!!!

Well, I joined a kickboxing class, where my DD takes karate. WOW !!! what a workout, but I feel great. TOM came early this month and that's o.k. it will be done sooner. My eating has been right on plan, I'm feeling pretty satisfied and it has been fairly easy. I hope it continues this way, then I can make it through all phases.
Where's everyone at , hope you all are just smashing along.

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still eating on plan, no cheats, which has been amazing to me. It's been a long time that I gone more than a couple days without any cheats. But I'm keeping really busy this year with my kids and there crazy schedules, driving then back and forth for early morning practice and after-school practices and try to coordinate this inbetween my work schedule, Phew!!! bye for now gotta run.

Hi, livvinlean! Kickboxing sounds FUN, but super intense. I'm not that brave. But I bet it's a great way to release aggression.

Hi jelly, So how's phase 2 going? WOW! you've lost 13lbs in phase 1 or is that a total amount so far? I would be happy to see even 5lb gone after phase 1 and would be thrilled any more than that. So Sept 13 is the big weigh-in for me. I 'll keep you guys posted. I better go get my workout done, I 'm sort of dragging myself today.

Weighed in on day 9, I should have waited officially till the start of Phase II, but I had anxiety. Only lost 3.5 lbs which is very discouraging :-( Was hoping to be in the 150's that would have been really nice....
Well, thanks goodness yesterday has passed, it was a very strange day for me. I was all out of sorts, my eating was off plan....yucky, I'm so mad at myself, but I did manage to exercise 50min with a Firm tape. So today's another day, I just have to get back in to the swing of things and do better today.
nikki- "3.5 lbs" I think that's great. You'll be in the 150's in no time. I do know what you mean though, I've been in the 150-155 range way...way... way to long. I want to see the 140's someday.

Phase II is going GREAT. My weigh-in days are Sundays so I have now officially lost 15 lb. To answer your question, I lost 5 lbs on my own, 5lbs during Week 1 of Fat Smash (Phase I with no exercise ), 3 lb during Week 2 (Phase I & II with a lot of exercise), and 2 lb during Week 3 (with no exercise ). So I've lost 10 lbs on Fat Smash so far.
Exercise REALLY makes a difference in my energy levels, weight loss, and overall fitness. However, I was sooo busy this week. (I know -- excuses, excuses.) I also accidentally skipped the snacks and ate late at night.
I'm gonna set a reminder on my cell phone to notify me when it's time to eat so I won't forget and have to eat past 8pm. I'm also going walking later on today -- two miles!

Its sounds like everyone is doing well. Nikki please don't get discouraged -every loss is a good one and even holding steady is a victory. I'm sure you will reach your goal. Amanda - welcome and I'm sure you will do great! I just finished my 3rd week of phase 3 and I lost two pounds. I figure 2 is better than none and it is a reasonable amount to lose. So keep up the good work and everyone have a great week!
Hello all, im back. After about a month of maintaining i decide it's time for me to get back to fs! I'm going shopping today and starting with phase 1 again tomorrow. Though it is going to be very hard for me, because of my schedule with school...i wanna lose some more weight. I am maintaining around 185-187 but have not budge past that...so it's time for the good ol FS again, and some exercise...must exercise. I got 40 more pounds to go before june of next year. My mini-goal is to lose 15lbs by my birthday....10/28/2007....ill b 21! YAH! Wish me luck!
Hey Goaldown, haven't heard from you in a while. Glad to hear that everything is going good. I went grocery shopping today, I am going to start tomorrow also. I was suppose to start last week (go figure). Anywoo, everyone take care, I will check back in later.
YEAH Miss Vee...we can do it! I was watching America's Next Top Model Cycle 8 marathon this weekend and there were 2 plus-size models...both in a size 12...i was like hey...if they can get up there and flaunt their bodies with no shame at size 12...i want to too! So that was alittle motivation for me. So here I am typing this while eating my bowl of oatmeal! HEHE! Got a nice lil salad packed for lunch, and also some grapes, a banana, and my yogurt for snacks! Tonight since it is getting cooler...i will walk! Well good luck Miss Vee...hopefully we see some results!
