well my computer is in the shop so im a lil late on my weekly check. i wieghed myself wednesday morning and am cuurently at 188.5. pretty happy, it was 2 more pounds but my clothes are getting so loose. also i have one of those lil handheld bodyfat machines and check that regularly. i have went down 5% according to that so im really happy with that. my mini goal is 180 and thats only 8.5 pounds away. my overall goal is 170 so thats less that 20 pounds which is nice. i havent wieghed 170 since i was 22 and that was 12 years ago.

Congratulations Lonzo!
The body fat loss is awesome and the weight loss too! I am also shooting for a weight that it has been many years since I last saw the number on the scale and I'm sure we will both make it!

I cannot believ the amount of wieght i have lost in the amount of time i have done it. not only can a few people tell but everyone now can. i am feeling great and my running times are getting faster and faster. hopefully if my progress keeps up i will be at my mini goal next week. Also I love this forum. what a great place for me to share my successes and my concerns. Thanks all.

just finished P3W2. ok well this week was really rough. i have been extremely busy at work and have skipped quite a few meals which i hate doing. i didnt eat an apple all week and apples have been my secret. i usually eat 3 of em a day. also i broke my diet for the first time since i stated this program. i went out with the fellas to play some golf and had about 5-6 beers. so when i stepped on the scale this morning i expected weight gain but was pleasantly surprised to see i lost a pound and a half. 181.5 to 180 i am happy with that.

I have been peaking in your forum for a while and have been contemplating trying the fat smash diet since you guys seem to be doing so great. Well, I don't have the book as yet, but I just ordered it online. In the mean time, I would love getting to know you guys and making some weight loss buddies. Congratulations to all of you on your weight loss.

HI unstoppable, nice to meet you. I haven't done the check in before but I will today. I am on day 5 of the Fat Smash and feeling really good. I am going out to lunch today and so looking forward to a salad bar out. Once you get through the first couple of days it becomes routine. I am still fairly new but that is what I am finding so far.
Lonzo mentioned that Granny Smith apples are wonderful for this, I am going to go get some. I don't normally eat apples but it sounds good. I eat alot of bananas, I love those.
I work full time and don't like spending much time cooking so I have been using Instant Oatmeal and rice.
Good luck! It's nice that we are all in this together.

Unstoppable, how is it going so far? I think you will enjoy it. I did notice that if I used boiled egg whites on my salad diced up, it made the salad more satisfying for some reason. Keep us posted on your success and thoughts. Have a great day!

I am on the first day of phase 2. So far the only thing I did different today was eat Kashi Go Lean Cereal instead of oatmeal but I didn't mind the oatmeal. For lunch I will probably get a Hogi Yogi salad, it's like Subway. I have parent teacher conferences today so I have a short time to have lunch.

I had weighed on Saturday and I had lost 5 lbs, I weighed this morning and it is still at 5 lbs. I'm sure I am slower than some because of my thyroid but 5 lbs is a great success, I am happy with it.

Yes, so the first day went well. I had a little bit of indigestion and gas (bloatiness), but other than that everything was fine. I ate oatmeal for breakfast w/ raspberries and non fat milk, lunch I had a salad and grapes, for dinner I had ratatouille over brown rice w/ spinach. Snacks were strawberries w/ low fat yogurt and carrots. I must have went to the bathroom like 15 times. I did a 45 minute spinning class which was awesome. So far so good. I will definitely keep you guys posted. Good luck all

Today is day 4 for me. So far, so good. I tried the gourmet omelet, except I added onion powder, black pepper, and adobo to it. All I can say is OMG!!!! Deelish. Happy weight loss to all.

ok im really late this week. i ended P3W3 on the 7th and weighed in at 180. no increase no loss. pretty happy though because last friday was out annual banquet and i called it a day off. had 3 slices of pizza for lunch, mahi mahi for dinner and about 12 hours worth of alcohol. i only drink a couple times a year so when i do i make sure it is a good one. so im pretty happy with no weight gain. also have not ran now for about 2 weeks. i need to get back into running. will hit ya back up on wednesday.
