Just had to add one special note. I weighed yesterday morning when I started over. I am two lbs lighter today! yippee! I know it's water, but I'll take what I can get! I also wanted to post again to be sure my counter was working since I just updated it! I'll hush now, I think!

Good morning ladies

Don't hate me, but I am sitting at my computer wearing a pair of size 14 jeans!! They are a touch tight round the waist but not uncomfortably so! I only tried them on because all my others were in the wash and I thought - let's just see if these fit yet. And they did!! And I've been doing housework in them and everything so it's not a case of barely getting them on and not being able to breathe!! However, I bought another pair of 14s the other day and they ARE uncomfortably tight so I think I'm on the cusp!

However, I do think sizes have changed recently. I have a really nice pair of beige/cream linen trousers that I put away from when I was thinner yonks ago. I pulled them out and I thought they were 14, but they are actually 16s. I tried them on and they fitted beautifully round the legs and hips - but I couldn't fasten them at all round the waist. Mind you I seem to remember I always considered them a very tight 16 before, so maybe I should really think of them as a 14. Ah well - something to look forward to. I know they looked great when they fit properly.

Diana - congrats on the 2 lbs!! It's great to see it go down.

Mine only went down 0.2 this morning but, hey, it's better than going up!!

Thanks everyone for the welcome back and encouragement! I must say it feels pretty good to be back "on the wagon". And I'm down 4 lbs in two days! I'm starving to death and I know it's probably all water gone....but hey, 4lbs is 4 lbs, right?? Again, I'll take any loss! I'm glad it's coming off so quickly right now. Otherwise, I might get discouraged and want to quit! Hubby is doing this with me, too...that helps! He's my rock! Best man there is in my opinion! (Yes, I may be a little biased!)
I did sooooo good yesterday! This morning I've had 3 grapes and a handful of fat free chips. The good thing is that we've kept healthy foods in our house, so I don't need to clean out. Just need to cut back a lot....
I was really afraid that I'd come back to a whole new crop of folks. Again, I'm so glad there are familiar "faces". I'm glad some of you have stuck it out! What an encouragement to folks like me!
Ya'll say a prayer for me this coming week. Next week we have a community fish fry at my in-laws. Fish is absolutely my favorite favorite food in the world. I think if it were this weekend, I could be strong. I don't know where my willpower will be next weekend though. I'm supposed to bring the salad though. So I know there will be something there I can eat.
Anyway, stay strong folks! Let's beat this jiggly grotesque lardy FAT! :-D

Happy Easter everybody . . .

. . . things have not exactly been going well for me the last couple of days although the eating regimen has been doing ok. Broke my rule about only weighing once a week just to see how close I came to my easter goal and was that ever a mistake. The mean old scale- says I've gained 4 pounds in the last 4 days. Now I know that's not true but it's depressing just the same. Hope it goes away again before my official WWI (Wednesday Weigh In).

Have a great day, gang . . . and I hope the chocolate-bearing bunny is not toooo good to you. See you soon.

Hi Everyone ~ I am pretty new to 3FC, and was wondering if I could join your group here. My goal is to lose my weight by this time next year also. We would like to go back to Iowa next summer to see all the family, and I want to have all my weight off and just surprise everyone! I'm not even telling anyone what I'm doing. I just started on my journey on 4-5-6, and so far so good. I hope you don't mind me being here, but if this is just for a certain group, then please just let me know...thanks

Happpy Easter!

Linda, hang in there girl... I'm sure it will go away, just like I know mine will... lol

Michelle, ...to 3FC and the group. We are always glad to have more support and motivation to help us along the way.

It's a nice day today but not as nice as yesterday... I think some surrounding towns reached as high as 80 yesterday, but today it's in the mid 60's but I'm so glad it's not in the 30's or below

I took yesterday off... I feel like I'm back in my rythmn... today's weigh in still has me at 240... I know it's not a change but I'm ok with it because I know it has not gone up past that but it did drop below that point this past week. Did the 2 mile workout today and had a light breakfast.

I hope everyone is having a great day! ...will check back later.

Hi Liza and thank you for the big welcome!!! This group seems great and very motivated! I'm cooking dinner right now, because my mom, oldest daughter and her husband, are coming over to join my husband, youngest daughter and myself to eat a beef roast and all the trimmings. I made homemade chocolate chip cookies, and they aren't tempting to me at all, luckily, because I don't like any sweets. I hope you have a wonderful Easter and enjoy the rest of your weekend...

Hey there Diana I'm new to the group but would like to welcome you back.

Welcome to the group Michelle Everyone here is so great with motivation, support, and a shoulder to lean on when you need one.

Meowee I definately know what you mean about weighing more than once a week. If I did that it would drive me crazy, up today down tomorrow but back up the next day. Once a week for me and that is it. If it shows up then its up for a week if it shows down then its down for a week. Stick in there you know it will go back down.

I feel so good today. We did a bunch of work around the home the past couple of days and I have worked my butt off. Lots of activity to work off come calories. Today is my official weigh in day and I was down 4 pounds. But I know if it wasnt for all of you guys I wouldnt be doing this well.

Thanks everyone for all the great support.
