I have been lazy with my exercise lately. I have turned over a new leaf to get back on track. I hurt my knee but that is not a good enough exercise for me to so lazy. I received new new exercise dvd's for Christmas. I hope to start using those next week.
10k tomorrow, ennay? How exciting! You'll have to tell us about it. I'm still trying to decide if I want to sign up for one in March.
Sign up sign up! I think races are the most fun and most motivating thing I ever did. I used to exercise "to lose weight" and it just wasnt motivation enough. Now I exercise because I have 11 events planned for 2007 (I'm still looking for my December one) and I need to run to train. And on the days I dont want to train, then I still have weightloss as a backup motivator...it works really well.
90 minutes - I'd guess I spent about 50 of them running, 40 of them walking, up hills and stuff for the walking. It was just -such- a nice day out and I didn't want to come back inside!
ok, I really NEED someone to be accountable to, I hope you folks don't mind if I jump in... I am trying to walk every day, ( was walking everyday for 3 months this summer, 3 miles and was truly feeling proud of my accomplishment). I walked today 3 miles ( again, finally, have only been able to do a little over 2 miles til now due to ice and time constraints), it was cold and the wind was from the NW, and I hesitated, thinking I could put it off until tomorrow, but, I KNEW if I put it off today, I would be able to put it off tomorrow and so on, and so on... I really want to feel part of a determined group ( or many groups), my 8 yr old is supportive, but he loves me no matter how fit I am... I would really like to post on here every time I walk, and I plan on it! Today, I am determined!!! I WANT to be a success story!!!!!!
I exercised 200 minutes last week, over 5 days. Mostly the cross-trainer/elliptical (XT) and the stationary bike (BTN). Plus some near-nightly yoga that I did not count toward my minutes.
