Oh yeah!!! I was going to put off walking today, since it was bitterly cold with a NW wind, but, after sitting on the computer for 45 minutes I guilted myself into going walking, bundled up and headed off with Queen blaring. You know, it wasn't so cold after all... I walked farther than I ever have before!!! I am pumped!! The wind died down when it got dark, and I still was a mile and a half from home ( ok, I don't like walking on the trail in the dark much, esp during winter when it is icy and I can't see the way), but, I did it!!!!! I am so happy for doing it, and I know that next time, I can tell myself about this time, and that will be no more reason for ever procrastinating again!! woooohooooo!!!

Only got in a little over 2 miles today, But, it is beautiful walking at night, ( somehow it has been dark before I get home the last couple of nights...) Gosh, when did life get in the way of the things I NEED to do for me? I am happy to be able to walk outside though. The wind was blowing, but, it wasn't a cold wind ( it was from the south). Until tomorrow!!!!

I got in my 2 and 1/2 miles today, with one little snag, my 8 yr old son wanted to walk with me... I said great! Let's bundle you up and you can walk with me today!" *Note to self, 8 yr olds can't keep up to 4 mph with snowpants on... So, after several starts and stops, he says to me, "Mom, let me know when we get to 1 mile, cuz I think then I am gonna throw up"! Straight out of the Ghostbusters movie!! His timing was impeccable! I had to laugh, and share it with all of you, he is so witty sometimes, makes me wonder if he is older than 8... Happy to say, I have walked every day but, Monday this past week, I am working on the "make it a habit in 21 days" motto.
