Default free food

I did amazingly well in bypassing great desserts yesterday at work - I mean downright silly scrumptious - thought I made it out fine then

today

3 tunnel fudge cakes and a boston cream pie - I had to run out the door then back in for a slice of the bcp.

told everyone - no more - can't go in the workroom any longer

We're gonna be on Chat #3 while everyone else is on #2. I don't think we'd have it any other way... afterall, the other teams will be eating our dust throughout the competition!

Funnel cake, funnel cake, oh funnel cake. I go to the fair once a year and I get funnel cake. Once a year doesn't hurt, right?

Vixjean & Josephine--Shopping in my closet will be fun too. Oh to be in those 12's, 10's, or dare I say 8's. I would love to be in those 12's by October for a huge presentation that I have. I have to kick it in gear because I don't even want to say out loud how much I would have to lose to get into those 12's.

The treadmill is boring. I only lasted 35 minutes, I couldn't take it anymore. I need to go ahead and get that ipod. I mean even watching a dvd didn't help.

I'm so proud of myself! I exercised 75 mins tonight... but I'm sweating in places I really shouldn't be sweating....

Like I got off the treadmill and I was sweating like crazy from my wrists of all places.

Anywho I'm hopping offline.

That is me and Long John Silvers. Once a year. Honestly, I don't think I have had it in probably 7 years, but just knowing that I have given myself that option makes me happy.

Hi all. Just got caught up on three full pages. Whew. This is going to be really scattered. Please forgive me.

Anna - Continued good thoughts that you find an answer about Meara.
Dee - I'd read that blog.

My once a year is an elephant ear at the fair. Yummy.

I attempted W3D2 tonight. I hate exercising after dinner. I got about 90 seconds into my 3 minute jog and about died from the cramp in my side. I ended up finishing up my half hour but it was WAY more walking than it should have been. Try again tomorrow. I have lots of catching up to do if I wanna get to that beach.

mj5 - Way to rock the gym.

I stopped at two resale places today looking for some weights. Gonna hit one more tomorrow and then I am gonna start shopping new. I can tell a major difference in how my legs feel since attempting to run. I really need to work on some upper body though. NSV for today. I tried on a pair of pants today and they were comfortable enough to wear to town. Then I started looking at my undies and decided to ditch about 6 pair of them because they were way to lose in the behind. Dug out the ones that are a size smaller and they fit MUCH better. Then I dug out the measurements I had DH do the other day and since the first of the year I have lost 1.75 in my waist and 1.5 in my hips. Unfortunately the scale only says -2lbs but that isn't important. Although I did finally break the 240 mark. Woke up with a 239.6 staring back at me. I weighed 235 in spring 2004 when I got pregnant. Probably haven't seen anything lower than that since 95'ish.

I have a lot to catch up on! I've been MIA for the past two days because I just started back at school! I took some time off college when my husband went to Iraq & now 2 years later I'm just getting back. I'm way happy for that! It makes me really busy, but it feels good.

I'm proud to say its been 10 days since my last drink of soda!

And very proud to say that with me 3 days on campus I have not used the elevators AT ALL! I have a class on the 4th floor of one building, and the second floor of another building & I've walked all of them! I've also been parking farther away and walking more to class & taking the crosswalks over the streets instead of just crossing the street because I have to go up and down stairs for the cross walk. =D

My husband & I are going to start taking bike rides together. He and our friend take 10 mile bike rides down the trails and to a couple towns over to get ice cream. I haven't gone with them yet, I think I'd die, hah. But I'm going to start riding with them and work my way up!

*goes to catch up*

Well!!!! I'm gonna try to catch up on all the Blues News . . .

Nori - I live in Roseburg . . . but my checks come from Salem!!!

Jennifer - I'm proud to be on your refrigerator

Mumtoliam - Me too on the QOTD - pink grapefruit, but with a couple teaspoons of sugar on knife-sliced pieces - YUM!!! Also Jello sugar free caramel pudding 107 calories works too.

VixJean - congratulations on the size 11's. Like Jennifer, I can't wait to see that size again, it's been since the 70's.

Zinke - hope the signature is better, thanks for the instructions, and congratulations on your new weight!!!

Anna - It's so hard when its about our kids. My second son, Seth, started having seizures at 17 and he is on a waiting list for brain surgery - though I' not sure if I want to get that call or not . . . Hope Meara is feeling okay and you learn something (good) real soon.

Faerie - I like your expression drama-llama, I have a MIL it fits perfectly. And Fae, if the other team eats our dust, will they also put on pounds doing it???

Michelle - speaking of drama-llama - Laura and her SO are too sad - some people just think everything is about THEM!!! Enjoyed your My Space page pictures - is that your sister with the baby? And I like your forward pic with your fur baby, pretty eyes. (yours that is - his are closed in that one).

Dee - those 5K completion smileys are really adding up at the bottom of your page - you are inspirational!!! Also, if you were to log all the foods and add up the calories you DIDN'T consume, each 3500 would be another pound you'd have to walk off - and that could be a smiley of its own, yeah?

MJ - You are doing so good - another 2#!!! "Take that stupid voice!!!" (empasis added)

Tawny - I think its really great you'll be going to LV. Maybe you can use the time to refocus and plot a path for your life - the life you choose to live, along side your DH, not because of him or for him, but like your saying above your Avatar - "Doing it for myself!!!" Perfect! And your puppy cake was so sweet - I agree with Nori - you are quite talented. I'll be looking for your pics if you should decide to link them here.

As for me - This nightowl had to get up at 6:30am (gasp!) this morning for an all state agency meeting, so I was a little off my game today. Ate good for breakfast - yogurt and whole wheat toast and tea, but for lunch I had 3 slim fast snack bars (120 calories each!) Then for dinner, DH made sloppy joes, I had 1 and a half. So, we'll see . . . the scale's been static lately, hope I haven't budged it upward. Back to the yard tomorrow for some potential cabana boy points . . .

. . . over here with that banana leaf fan . . . yes, that's it . . . up, down . . .

Later

Dora

I think a couple of these aren't QOTD, but I wanted to answer them all anyway.
From the week of April 28th

QOTD Mon:
How old are you, and where do you live?

39, Sunnyvale, CA (I'd rather be in Sunnydale with Buffy)

QOTD Wed:
What would your Biggest Loser goal shirt say?

Front: To be healthy, active and unconscious of weight and size limits
Back: To be desirable
Sleeves: To not have 19" arms
Wrapped around the waistline: To ummy, shimmy, undulate and show my belly dancing finesse

QOTD Thu:
If you could have any job in the entire world, what would it be and why?
Wildlife / Marine Biologist, yes both. I love studying how animals interact and relate to one another. Not so fond of watching the predator / prey process, but the rest of it so intriguing.

QOTD Fri:
Do you find it difficult to stay on-plan through the weekend? What makes the weekends difficult for you and what methods do you use to keep yourself in check?

No, I find it harder to stay on-plan during the week. I'm usually fighting to get to work on time during the week, and have to force myself to eat breakfast and then grab something for lunch. After my 12-hour days, I'm up all night fighting the munchies (like right now). Now, a couple of sugar-free popsicles are calling my name.

Gotta run. I'll be back to answer the QOTD for this week and drop a couple of personals.

Happy Morning Everyone!

Dora - I'm not so sure about the pounds! But, how much nutritional value does dust have anyways?

Good morning, Bluesers!

Hubby and I did another walk last evening. This makes three days in a row....I'm on a roll! The scales are sorta smiling....the weight hasn't moved, but the fat percentage has dropped 1%. Today is another fun work filled day, then another speed walk with Hubby.

MJ - Congrats on winning your battle with the stupid voice!
Trailgroomer - Congrats on beating the evil desserts in the breakroom!
Chellez - Congrats on your 75 minutes of sweat equity!
Amy - Enjoy your time away....and, congrats on your loss.
Zinke - Congrats on your smaller pants and undies
Vertigo - Congrats on your soda victory and your extra movement with the stairs. I'm sure your scales will smile on you this week!

I love that we have all of these awesome victories to celebrate and congratulate today. The Blue Team rocks!

Time for this Blueser to get to work. I'll check back in again later.

GO BLUE!
