OMG... I'm so ticked off right now.
I got a call from some contractor this morning because he wanted to rent some barricades. Well our company policy has always been if you don't have an account, you have to either set up a Net 30 account, or pay up front (which I call it an independent contractor account). So I tell this guy that I need to fax over an independent contractor account form so we can get the company information before we send out the materials. Well I get this response from him like "Our Office Mgr doesn't want to set up any accounts, she wants to pay up front." So I reassure him thats exactly what the form is for, we just have to have the company's info for legal reasons.
So I fax over the sheet and I get a call from the office manager who wanted to know what the heck the guy was ordering and why. And then she was saying she was going to fill it out and give me a credit card # (which I told her wasn't necessary if she wanted to pay by check.) and she said ok and she'd fax it back over. I got it back at 11:30, put it on my boss' desk so he could determine if he wanted to work with them or not and left for lunch.
Well about 1:15 he comes in the office and looks at the paper and turns to me and tells me that I supposedly copped an attitude with the office manager and she's pissed that I'm
forcing them to open an account. Hello! Did I not tell her it wasn't an account! Evidently my boss had talked to the original guy that called in and he had received a tongue lashing from the office manager... so that got turned on me. So I'm telling my boss what the situation was and he keeps talking over me.

Oh I got hot... I yelled at him not to talk over me and very loudly explained the way things really went down.
Then I proceeded to curse the contractor's office manager out loud.
Thank God I only have a few more months in this **** hole.
Thats my rant... thanks for listening.
