Raining like the devil here, but that means I don't have to water my lovely garden.

Got a tooth filled today and it hurts. Having shrimp masala for lunch.

Looks like I am on track for a small loss this week.

suitejudy-I get like that before TOM too. It's not cravings, it's just serious hunger and I will eat and eat and eat. I won't ever feel full and if I do.....I'll still eat.

Well I'm off to go walking. Just did an aerobic striptease (don't like it but it's exercise) and my baby just woke up from his nap so I'm gonna go for a walk before it's feeding time for him again. I'm trying so hard to get my weight down. I wanna see onederland again.

I think Mother nature needs to work on her timing better with the rain. I don't mind the rain, but can't it do it while I am asleep and be nice during the day.

Mentally it makes me feel lazy, not to mention Soccer is probably going to be cancelled tonight leaving me with 2 8-year old boys, who didn't get their butts run off, when my DH and a friend of ours goes to a Scouting meeting.

Oh Well!

Dh just emailed me the worst possible news ever. He cant go to shore duty because someone messed up his stuff. I cant believe this. This is something that we both feared. I'm really hating the Navy right now. Actually no..I'm not hating the Navy..I just feel disappointed. I cant stop crying and shaking. We were waiting for shore duty for so long. We now have the option of staying in Washington or going to San Diego.

Omg omg omg..I just hope to God he's not flipping out on the ship. Lack of food and "other stuff" really gets him angry.

Oh, honey, that really blows. It is OK to hate the Navy. I know there is some honor code that you are not supposed to say those things, but someone screwed up his stuff. Hating the Navy is a perfectly normal reaction; if you stuff that emotion, it will come back later. Anger is a valid emotion...run with it.

OMG... I'm so ticked off right now.

I got a call from some contractor this morning because he wanted to rent some barricades. Well our company policy has always been if you don't have an account, you have to either set up a Net 30 account, or pay up front (which I call it an independent contractor account). So I tell this guy that I need to fax over an independent contractor account form so we can get the company information before we send out the materials. Well I get this response from him like "Our Office Mgr doesn't want to set up any accounts, she wants to pay up front." So I reassure him thats exactly what the form is for, we just have to have the company's info for legal reasons.

So I fax over the sheet and I get a call from the office manager who wanted to know what the heck the guy was ordering and why. And then she was saying she was going to fill it out and give me a credit card # (which I told her wasn't necessary if she wanted to pay by check.) and she said ok and she'd fax it back over. I got it back at 11:30, put it on my boss' desk so he could determine if he wanted to work with them or not and left for lunch.

Well about 1:15 he comes in the office and looks at the paper and turns to me and tells me that I supposedly copped an attitude with the office manager and she's pissed that I'm forcing them to open an account. Hello! Did I not tell her it wasn't an account! Evidently my boss had talked to the original guy that called in and he had received a tongue lashing from the office manager... so that got turned on me. So I'm telling my boss what the situation was and he keeps talking over me. Oh I got hot... I yelled at him not to talk over me and very loudly explained the way things really went down.

Then I proceeded to curse the contractor's office manager out loud.

Thank God I only have a few more months in this **** hole.

Thats my rant... thanks for listening.

I was selfishly hoping you'd be stationed at Pensacola NAS.

Chellez - Sorry you have to put up with idiots!

Francie that soooo sucks! How annoying that someone else's paperwork error can affect your life so greatly.

chelle--how frustrating! At least you stuck up for yourself--you go, woman!

Well, it's raining here today. We managed to get a walk in this morning before the rain really started, but we were going to go for an afternoon walk, too, until the rain really hit. I got a call from Sears Optical that my new glasses were in and ready to be picked up, so at lunch, I went to Sears at the mall near my office to get them. While I was there, I decided the weather would not dictate my exercise schedule, so I went and walked briskly around the outside perimeter of both floors of the mall for a good 30-minute walk I was even sweating, and I made sure not to stop in ANY stores!
