Thanks for the encouragement!! I'm in the 140s now!! Yes!!! So close to the lowest weight I've ever been as an adult(145). Once I surpass that I'm not sure how much my pants size is going to matter to me!! Yea!!

Nice to officially welcome you here liliesinmycereal and crazygurl61!

The fact that we are all still losing during this time of year is really fantastic!

I noticed no one has posted since 12.23. I am hoping everyone enjoyed the holidays. On Christmas Eve & Christmas Day I basically ate everything in sight. But, before I went to bed last night I tossed all the left-over sweets and treats so today (12.26) there wasn't any temptation.

It feels good to be eating "normal" again. I weighed 141.8 before Christmas and I am going to wait another day or so before I weigh in post Christmas (I know I am retaining water).

In the past I have been about 138-135 (never able to break 135) and I felt pretty comfortable. I gained about 10 lbs up to 147 and now I am making the journey back into the 130s. I have been trying to break 140 for months now. What is is about the 140s?!??!!! I am training for a half-marathon so I am trying to be careful about food - it is a delicate balance act to get enough for fuel but not too much to prevent weight loss.

Here's to getting back on track after Christmas and continuing our journey into the 130s.

So far so good! I have made it past christmas without going back over 145! I do have goodies I brought back with me, but as they're sweets and I'm not huge on sweets I'm not too worried. Also being home means more diet soda, vs the regular soda I was tending towards staying with my family and grabbing fast food on the road I didn't see 139 before Christmas like I hoped, but not going back over 145 is good to me!

Argh. Weighed myself this morning - the first time post-Christmas. 145.8. Yuck. I was at 141.8 beforehand. I know I ate a lot but it was only on the 24th and 25th. I didn't have any junk since then. Also, I ran on the 24th (2 miles) and the 26th (4 miles) and yesterday (5 miles).

I expected a little gain but paired w/ my running I didn't expect to see 4 whole lbs. I am really hoping a majority of it is water weight.

I am just going to keep on keeping on. I am thinking I will see a drop closer back to my pre-Christmas weight in a few lbs. (I hope!)

Weighed myself before my bath last night, all nice and nekkid, and was at 141! I hadn't realized my not-so-heavy articles of clothing actually weigh a good 2 pounds! That's encouraging LOL!!! I haven't hopped on the scale yet today, but I'm hopeful that it's around 140. Will update after I bother getting out of bed!

Well I'm technically not even in the 140s yet lol (although due to weight fluctuations sometimes I hit 148 ish but today I'm at 150) but I certainly am looking forward to going down through them so hey guys! I must admit I feel like a bit of a giant here anyone else a taller gal in this section?

I weighed in at 143.8 today. I lost 2 lbs of water weight from the holidays. I know it wasn't realy weight gain but it was a downer to see such a high number on the scale. I am close to my goal - so close I can feel it!

It's going to come off, it's going to come off... Still around 141! This is good, I'm 141 when I step on the scale more often now though I haven't dropped below it quite yet. I started being more active again after getting Just Dance 3 and Just Dance Summer Party for Christmas, so I'm hoping that will help nudge that number down and get me out of this thread and on to the next! I hope it happens soon!

What's everyone dong for New Year's?? I have a planned indulge of a few drinks and an organic scone (I love them!) but I won't be going crazy. I ran 9 miles this morning so I don't think I will do too much damage tonight.

I am so happy the holidays are over. I love them but it makes dieting and weight loss even harder.

Here's to the New Year and to us getting below 140!

Stayed home with my cats. Hubs is working overnight. I would have loved going to a dance in Philly, but I'm enjoying relaxing for one of my last days of vacation! With a drink or two But I did kick off my evening with a shopping binge (whoopsss) and an hour of playing Just Dance and a light dinner.

Woke up, hopped on the scale and saw it hit just a TINY SLIVER below the 140 mark! Just barely touching it really, but that means I'm like 139.9 right? What a great way to start the new year!! I'm sure it won't be there for long, so I'll stick around here till it's for real. So good to see that scale inch lower for the new year though!!
