Anyone trying to get out of the 140s?

  • I went back up to 146 this am and I am really dissappointed because I ate so well yesterday. My plans for this week are to continue eating clean and watching my snacking. I try not to count calories because I am breastfeeding so for me it is about making sure when I do grab a snack it is healthy. As for excercise I am hoping to get some structured excercise in this week but if not than I will continue to do what I can when I can.
  • hi everyone! i just recently got out of the 150s, & i'm officially 148.4 as of today. i'm hoping that the 140s will go by fast!

    i've been doing IF for about 2 weeks now, & i think its really been helping me lose weight faster. so hopefully i can keep to it (:
  • Welcome to the 140s delyn!

    Had a tough weekend - I got an ice cream maker from the family as a present for Mother's Day. Really??? Husband knows I'm on a diet. And of course the kiddo couldn't wait to make some.

    Thankfully I've been hovering at 140/140.1 since Friday. Hoping to hit 139 by Tuesday/Wednesday.
  • 146 for me. I was secretly hoping to see 145.5 ~ I have a scale that is atleast 20 years old...it is accurate but only measures 0.5 pound increments. ~ Maybe tomorrow I will see my mid 40's. I feel rushed to get down to normal BMI.

    DottieMae; Maybe you can make some sorbet with that maker? I know nothing about making icecream So today may be the day you say adios to us?

  • sum38 - I had a good idea to look into frozen yogurt too, so perhaps I'll explore some of those recipes next

    I was down to 139.2 this am. I don't want to say goodbye to you all yet though. I need to get at least 2 weigh ins in the 130s in order to feel like I'm really there. But felt good to see that number seeing as I really hadn't budged in a few days!
  • Hey Featherweights! I'm going to join you, this seems like a far more active 140's community than the other thread that I was in. DELYN - I'm doing IF too and we're about the same height and weight!!

    I'm struggling mentally right now because I was doing so good last week. I had 4 days where I weighed in between 146 and 147 and yesterday and today I'm back up to 149. Everyone says not to get hung up on the day to day number, but today was my official weigh in day and it pissed me off that by that number I weigh the same as last Tuesday. .2 more actually!

    I was 145 again today but I feel like I am just going to wake up and be down a couple pounds any day now because that is just how I seem to lose.

    144.5 pounds this am It has been at least 5 years since I was this low. Now I have officially lost 20 pounds.

  • 139.6 this morning. Up about .4 pounds but that's fairly normal for my daily fluctuations. Sad to see the scale move up but overall I know I'm heading in the right direction. Did a lot of walking and stretching yesterday and not a lot of cardio. Tonight is yoga class. Already mapped out my calories for today and looking forward to my snack in an hour

    Sum38 - Nicely done!! 20 pounds is a huge accomplishment. Are you doing anything special to celebrate? New clothes, massage, etc?

    Sarahlynn - I am sure you'll see that scale move soon. I tend to hold or even go up and then have a bigger drop. Are you near your TOM by chance?

    tonimaroni2 - I had the same thing the week of May, just kept going up. The next week I was down 3.3lbs! This week I've budged about .4 pounds. Sometimes it's fast sometimes it's slow. Not sure what triggers it, but if you're exercising and eating right it will move! I'm sure you'll see a change in the scale soon. And congrats on 17lbs lost. Great work!
  • Sum38 - You should definitely celebrate this!! But not with food! Congratulation, 20 lbs is a huge accomplishment.

    Dottie - You're SO close to being completely out of the 140's, good work!

    I recovered a little bit from my Sunday weight gain. I've lost about 1.5 of those 3 water lbs I gained so not terrific, but puts me at a total loss for the week of 1 lb. I'll take it.

    I was 144.6 this am so WOOT! I feel like I will be down even more tomorrow because I had been really bloated and not... ahem ...going but I grabbed a coffee this am and took care of that. lol Hoping to see a few lbs down fairly quickly so I can make my goal of 139 by May 31st.
  • 144.6 again this am. I was hoping to be down even more but I am happy to be below 145 still. Hoping that all the running around I do today can help me see 143.something tomorrow. I know I will have to eat out today but I am planning to get a garden salad and that is it! I have 2.6 lbs to go until I hit the 15 lb mark.
  • 146 for me. I ended having a spike day yesterday, so upward movement was totally expected. I will be back below 145 tomorrow, which is my official weigh in day. -- No, I am not rewarding my 20 pound loss...I have been shopping more, I have bought dresses and tops...I think once I hit normal BMI I will have a sushi date with my DH as a celebration. -- I stay away from carbs, so sushi will be a real treat.... I have not eaten out in ages. -- We will get all dolled up and enjoy a date night. My DH can show off his skinny wife

    Last 5 pounds has made a huge difference. I finally stopped wearing spanx tops. It feels great to wear normal tshirts. -- I carry my weight on my belly, so now that fat has been sucked out of everywhere else, my tummy is the only thing that has fat left. I think I have atleast another 15 pounds just there....but it is getting slimmer

    Sarahlynn Is tomorrow your official weigh-in day?
  • Sarahlynn - ah, I remember the breastfeeding days. Although I got my period back fairly quickly (about 4 months) after giving birth even though I was breastfeeding. Those first few months I could eat anything and it seemed like it went straight to the baby, then it went straight to my belly and thighs!

    Sum38 - Yum Sushi! I haven't eaten that in forever either. I try not to eat out but sometimes it's unavoidable. Plus sometimes it makes me sad to be at a nice restaurant and just eating a $10 salad - something I could have made for like $2 at home. haha. I hear ya about belly weight - mine is all there. In fact some women have mistaken me for being a few months preggo. gah!

    Well ladies, I think it's official that I'm moving out to the 130s forum. I weighed in at 138.5 this am. I went to Bikram yoga last night so I'm expecting to see a little spike up tomorrow (a bit of that loss is surely water weight) but with 3 weigh ins in the 130s I think it's safe to move on. I hope to see you all there soon (if you goal is in the 130s that is!). Good luck!

    I'm back down to 146.4 this morning. So excited about that. Too bad I'm going into the weekend. I'll need to be really strict to avoid recovering all week like I did this week.
