I have been trying to get some exercise in since starting the program (IP) so this board will be my new kick in the pants!
My goals:
1. Some form of exercise for at least 45 minutes per time 3x a week.
2. Meet with personal trainer.
3. Try one new/different form of exercise.
My goals for October 1400 minutes
Complete October Lazy Man Marathon
Complete 8 runs --This would be in the WOW, I did it category (I've been so lax and unmotivated with my running for months now)
Nice to see many newbies here. I find this challenge really helps to keep me honest, which is a polite way of saying it helps to get my butt in gear! I hope you find the same.
October Goal: 2,500 minutes
Oct 1: 90 minutes, comprised of: 5.8 km walk (60); elliptical (15); exercise bike (15)
My goal is to walk/run 6 out of 7 days a week.
And to do 3 circuit workouts a week.
This week is kind of hard since it's starting on a tuesday, so I am going to start that officially next week. But this week I am just going to make sure I do something every day.. whether it's just a walk/run.. I may do a circuit workout on Thursday. ;P
10/01 - Walk/Run. ( 30mins, 2miles )

Gardenerjoy-- I need to modify my wording. A dear buddy here pointed out that with the weather turning to Fall etc, that it might be better to challange myself to the EQUIVALENT of 30 mins a day of walking for me for October. That way if it's nasty one day, and I miss that day, then if I walk 60 mins the next day, I'll still average out good. (averaged 30 min a day x 31 days is 930 mins walking for me for Oct for my goal). Can you modify that for me?
