bloomin: are you in grad school? What are you studying? I'm starting a community psychology doctoral program in the fall, and I would love to have someone to talk to about losing/maintaining weight while in school. I have yet to accomplish this! Sorry you're having such a struggle with the scale. That sounds SO annoying. Is there a gym or someplace nearby where you can weigh instead of using your own?
That sounds very cool. I'm actually taking a graduate level psychology class right now for research so I'm with students like you (well probably in the beginning of their program). I'm getting a master's in health administration MHSA, it's kinda a newer thing so you may not have heard of it. Basically health care is starting to get so inclusive a lot of business students are starting to get MHSA instead of an MBA. I started with a bachelor's degree in health science and didn't feel like all the work of medical schools.
Even Still, my life is so busy sometimes, and when people ask me how I do it I'm just like I don't even f***ing know! lol Sometimes I am so burned out it's crazy. I work full time, and take 1-2 classes a semester. Then lose weight on top of that??! Why do I hate myself, jk. I wouldn't change anything. I actually love school, just wish I had more free time.

That is awesome! No, I have never heard of the MHSA before, so that's really cool that you get to be at the forefront of this new program. Love that!
And I totally get what you mean. I really, really love school, so I am happy to be going back after taking a year off to work (which suuuuuuuucks), but I always find myself so wrapped up in assignments and other things I want to learn, and I end up neglecting myself in the process. In both my undergrad and MA program, I put on 15 or so lbs. Luckily I am being funded through a private donor and will not have to work, so that will surely alleviate some stress (I hope!). I am determined to break that weight gain pattern this time, but I definitely need support, so I will be bugging you
I know I've been a forum hog lately with my drama ladies, but tonight I am having another little crisis.
I don't know if you remember, but last week I re-did my measurements and thought I lost an inch of my bust to 38.5. Anyway, I was so excited I jumped online and ordered some DD bras from the brand I always buy from. Anyway I got them today and I am soo disappointed they don't fit at all! I remeasured my boobs and got 39.5 which is clearly a size up at to what I'm already wearing. I think I heard breast size can fluctuate? I'm not sure if that applies to me as much (I'm on birth control).
Anyway I guess I'll put them away till later when I lose more weigh. What a serious bummer though. I think maybe I was measuring them wrong. I suppose it's possible my waist or hip isn't that accurate either...but we'll save that for another day. I've had enough to nit-pick about.

I weighed myself yesterday, and I weigh 168.4. I started my weight loss journey November 2015 at 236. I've been doing it very slowly. I thankfully, have no loose skin. Late August until November, I hit a plateau, but after Thanksgiving, I started losing again. It seems to be easier for me now to lose weight. I've been working a lot, and I've been working a lot of mid day shifts, so the only thing I have time to eat in that time period, is a protein bar, and since I'm eating 20 grams of protein at 3 in the afternoon, I'm not very hungry for the rest of the day. I've been pretty stressed too, so that might be why I'm losing weight faster then I was before. I seem to be the opposite of a stress eater these days. My goal weight is 135-140.

That sucks, bloomin! I know my boobs definitely get bigger around my period, but generally I am okay. Maybe they can be your achievement bras? Like you can use them as a measure of how well you're doing as you lose!
Congrats on your loss, Harry, though I hope you will feel less stressed soon!
I will hold onto them for sure, I wear out bras pretty quickly since I use the dryer (I know so bad) so usually toss a bra after 9 months. I buy aerie so at least they aren't that expensive. When I was skinny and wore a c cup my bras lasted a lot longer :/
Welcome aboard Harrypotter! I'd love to get to know you . I too have been maxed on stress lately. This weekend was actually pretty bad for me food wise, I made so many mistakes. It all started when I decided to skip dinner Thursday night. Now, I never skip dinner, and this will be the last time because it created a domino affect of poor life choices lol. I guess damage wise it could have been a lot worse, I guess I'm making it sound like I pigged out, but I just feel like I didn't really try, like I almost gave up or something. I was hanging out with my bf's friends from out of town all weekend and while I think they are OK and all, I can't help that nervous energy I get. And of course school right now is completely overwhelming...
Well, I hope you guys have a fabulous week! I'll be busy cleaning up my act.
Congrats on meeting your goal, bloomin!
I wasn't able to do a real WI on Sunday, so I am hoping to see a nice drop this upcoming Sunday. It would be awesome if it got me out of the 160s!
Thank you! The hardest part for me is the evening, especially when I am alone. I will eat well and behave myself all day, and then there I am at 9 pm, on the couch, watching the new episode of Girls and CRAVING something sweet...how do you guys handle that? Perhaps I should just brush my teeth and floss right after dinner to make sure I don't eat to avoid doing it again?

Hey ladymarian brushing teeth sounds like a smart idea. I'm not sure what your dietary restrictions are but I really like sugar free gelatin. It's basically just water with almost no calories, but it's fruity and sweet. It saved my life a couple of times last time I had a serious diet. The only thing is you do have to make it ahead of time, so it's good to have a supply ready. I also really like the crystal light drinks.
