Funny, you were in Aberdeen, Scotland, and i live in Aberdeen, Maryland. -- never think about indulging as a disaster.. sometimes alittle cheating gives us motivation to get back on the 'wagon' so to speak, and gives us a reminder of a day we let it all out... now back into it!

A lady I knew back in the early 80's had a theory that I thought was good.

"If you're careful when it doesn't count; then you don't have to be careful when it does count."

If, in your everyday life, you're careful about your food choices; then when you have a special occasion, it's ok to "enjoy" yourself food wise.
As long as you go back to sensible eating once the occasion is over with, the extra calories will be dealt with and burned up.

It does work.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend !

I did enjoy myself and you are quite right that it is inspiring me to get back into it and stick to it.

I wore a smaller sized pair of trousers and although they were fine the top was a bit tight, I go away in 3 weeks and do not want to be constantly pulling the top down if I go out for a night, so I need to swing straight back into it. No excuses.

Am dreading WW tomorrow night though

Thanks

Good Morning everyone! Can someone explain to me what is wrong with me. Maybe PMS? I started my period on the 6th this month 4 days early so maybe my period is changing and I am having PMS right now or maybe it is in my head. I want to eat all the time! I don't get it, I have done so well until the last few months and I am just messing up more than I am on track. I don't want to gain any weight back because I ate too many animal crackers!! I need to get back into it. I don't want to be at this weight forever, I am not comfortable at this weight. I want to be 130 but I seem to be sabotaging myself. I made frosting last night to eat. How pathetic is that?

Kempy, Are you back yet? I have missed chatting with you.

Sandy, You would have loved Dr. Phil today. It was about wives who wanted to smack their husbands because they don't help around the house.

Noelle, How did you do at your BBQ? Good I hope.

I'll be back later.

Angie, stay on track girl!! If you need encouragement just look at those pictures. You can do it. But, how tall are you? Is 130 to small? Maybe we need to go look that up....hummmmm.... you look great now and a size 12? My dream, but everyone is different and you will get to where you want to be.

And Dr. Phil, what channel and what time do you get him? We have Directv.

Hope everyone is doing well.

hugs,
Sandy

I am 5'2" tall. I watch him at 9:00 on Channel 5 on regular tv. I don't think I have ever seen him on the satellite stations. He must be but I don't know which ones. I actually like to watch him except the time he told a family too get rid of their pets because they were in debt and animals are too expensive. They had kids but he didn't recommend they get rid of them.

S/C/G: wanna be 135

Height: 5'3"

Wink Good morning chickies

First let me say this: Angie, this is scary. We probably DO share the same brain or at least brain-waves. I indulged my snackyitis and cravings and had a total breakdown yesterday and we didn't even have a BBQ! I sabotaged myself. We had a few people over at the house and I went out and bought some stuff to make an easy lunch for them--not healthy but easy. I ended up eating what they were having instead of something "legal" . I'm kicking myself in the @ss because I was the one that went out and chose the stuff. What was I thinking? No will-power whatsoever yesterday. Plus, TOM has been early for me last month, I'm wondering if this munchie feeling is PMS already? Yuck. Anyway, I'm so glad it's Monday. You're not alone! BTW, I hope you didn't get your frosting idea from me or my journal--I used to do that when making my cinnamon rolls .

I just had to jump in early and get that off my chest. I gotta run and get ready for work. I'll check back with the rest of you ladies later.

Have a great day!

No, I actually told Jay I am going to make some Faux Fudge. It did taste like fudge without the extra fat but I ate it at 10:00 at night. I am breaking out right now so maybe I can blame PMS. Even if it lasts 2 weeks. haha I know that I need to stay out of the animal crackers. I bought them for the dogs and boy oh boy do I get some dirty looks from them when I am eating their cookies!

We have a new buffet place opening up in Bangor and they serve sushi and Chinese and fruits and all that good stuff. I told Jay I would like to try it sometime. I can't guarantee I would be a good girl but at least I could try sushi.

Angie I started PMSing after TOM arrived this morning, wasn't due for another 10 days or so, so my body is totally out of sync. Think deep down my body knew I was away for the weekend without the kids and thought it would try and spoil my fun tough too late am home again.

Have been eating non stop, just picking at rubbish which I wouldn't normally look at, just what ever I can find in the cupboard and fridge. I really want chocolate but we don't have any, is probably a good thing

Hello Kempyd - where were you, some where nice ?

Hello Everyone!! I am feeling great today!! I made it through yesterday with no food mishaps and maybe I can get into the groove. I just keep telling myself that there is NO reason to mess up during the week. I don't go anywhere so why bother. I mentally made a note that the animal crackers are for the dogs and the dogs only!!! Hopefully, I can get back into the groove of things. Well, I am off to the eye doctors. I'll check back later.

Kempy, Did you have fun on vaca? Did you do anything exciting?

Good morning all!

I am still trying to get back into the swing of things now that I am back home. MY body is not wanting to cooperate. I still didn't get up to workout but I am eating much better now that we are back.

Sandy, you and I am the same heighth. You never can tell how tll someone is until you stand next to them.

Chris, I love the pics. WOOHOO! You look so great!

Angie, you have made a great change too. I still can't beleive that was you. I am so proud of you!

Noelle, while I was in Cali we went to the pier in San Clementi and I waved at you. Did you see me?

I am going to try to get the pics developed soon so I can show some of them. I am so bad about forgetting to get them to the store.

I am back from the eye doctors. My eyes got worse AGAIN!!! They get worse every year. I ordered more contacts instead of glasses. Jay had to get glasses because he has astigmatism in one eye really bad. He had glasses when he was little but stopped wearing them and I could never get him to get more. I did get a compliment though, the receptionist asked me if I had lost more weight since the last time she saw me. That made me feel good.

Yeah I am 5'2" I am a little midgiepooh!

Tomorrow morning I am going to Bangor for the afternoon and I am going to try to find myself some cute tops. I don't want to buy jeans until I at least get to 8's but I will buy tops all the time. I suppose I should buy some undies too but I never really think of those. Mine are too big now.

We just went for a walk and Man it is cold!!!
