Default Woo Hoo! Out of the Two-Double-Digits!

I guess there's something to be said for not really wanting anything - I lost 3 pounds this week. I'm very excited about my weigh-in this morning...hope everyone else has a good one. Yay, Us for staying with it!

I'm on my way down the coast a bit to see my daughters...what a good day!

Welcome AngeBella!

Congrats on the loss sandyfanny!

I'm down another 1.2 pounds. This is insane, I'm not used to this. I know a lot will be water weight, but it's nice to make progress for once after a month long stall with calorie counting.

Looks like everyone is having good, steady losses! I know I'm losing quick because it's just the first week, but I'll be happy with 2 lbs a week until I hit goal.

It's so hard to read my scale! I have one of the scales with the little lines. I'm pretty sure I lost at least 1 pound though, putting me at ~265. I have a Wii and Wii fit, I should start using that scale. I'll weigh on it tomorrow and report in.

I only lost one pound this week, I am at 278 yikes it's so hard for me to even post that.
My plan starting Sunday No cheese and No splenda hopefully that will help.
I also need to increase my walking.
Everyone else great job and Sandy Wow 3 pounds I am so proud of you good job!

ghost girl...I know how you feel! My starting weight just a few weeks ago was 280...I can't believe I let myself get almost up to 300 pounds.

Default Yay, Everybody!

I'm so happy we had a good week. Congratulations, everyone! Let's work for a great week this week.

I had a little cheese fest on Sunday - my big splurge for the week. I'll be drinking the dreaded water and walking and eating lots of salads and chicken and eggs - that seems to work for me.

Cher, I'm so glad you had a good loss and like your new scale. Way to go!

Thanks StephanieM Weighed myself today, I'm down 5 pounds. I am pretty sure it's water weight but still, I'm very excited!! I had a hard time today, started craving Sugary foods so badly.. I ended up munching on some celery and after 20 mins the cravings went down but didn't go away.. I am hoping tomorrow will be easier, I read that after a week the sugar cravings go away completely is that true?

Congrats Everyone!!

Starting SW: 165 lbs
Today's CW:160 lbs
Goal Weight: 115 lbs

Default Great work, Angebella

What a super first week! Water or fat - who cares? It's five pounds you're not totin' around. Stay with it...the sugar cravings do go away. The fact that we have them tells us that something was out of balance in our bodies. Atkins will get those cravings in line.

My sugar cravings have gone away completely. Every now and then (maybe once a week), I'll see something that will cause a thought to float across my mind, but it's not a craving anymore. Now I want spinach salad, heroin wings, baby back ribs, and sausage, egg and cheese quiche - all of which I eat happily on Atkins. Eat and enjoy.
