I started the Lean phase a few days ago and it is rough! I loved how sore my biceps and triceps were afterwards. I was looking in my guidebook because I thought Lean was the last phase but I saw that after Lean, there is a "lean for life" phase that has circuits from all the different phases in it. Has anyone done this phase yet? Is it a challenge? Did anyone get bored doing it because it's just all the old circuits?

I wanna start P90X when I'm done with CLX. I finally fee ready to take it on!

Hi all!

I'm getting married in Sept, and have started Chalean Extreme as of Jan 1. I decided to do 8 weeks of each phase, instead of just 4, so I am in my last week of Burn right now. So far, I've lost 15 lbs, and about 13 inches! So exciting! I've been doing Turbo Jam cardio workouts on all weight training days, as well as the off days. I really think that's helping. I will post my official results after Burn Phase this weekend. You all are so motivating! Let's keep up the good work!!

Erin

Ok you gals got me interested in this. I did Turbo Jam for a while, until I found Zumba I just couldn't say no to dancing. <3 However cardio alone is not going to cut it for me. Plus I would love a bit more definition to my body what type of weights do you gals use for this program?

I use the resistance bands and they do a good, decent job. But, if I could afford it at this moment, I would definitely do this program using dumbbells.

ChaLEAN is an amazing program and I use it with Turbo Jam. I do Turbo Jam 5x a week and I'm having great results combining the two programs.

I have both of these programs. I am sorry to say I haven't been using them! Sigh.

I am interested in the combination of the programs though.

How many days do you do each? Do you do both on many of the days?

Sorry if this is a repeat question, I haven't had time to read thought the entire thread.

My routine this week is going to be something like this:

Mon: Cardio Party 1 + Push Circuit 1
Tue: Cardio Party 3 + Fat blaster
Wen: Kickin Cardio + Push Circuit 2
Thu: Burn Intervals + Extreme Abs
Fri: Cardio Party Live + Push Circuit 3
Sat: Burn it Off + Fat Blaster + Recharge
Sun: Rest day

I hope this helps. I keep changing the Turbo Jam routines every week... But I've been doing TJ at least 5x a week for about 3 weeks.

My schedule is kind of crazy... I work from 4pm until 10pm and I get home by 11pm. I workout at about midnight (!!!), but that is the time of the day that I am most active. I do the exercises with full effort.. jumping and kicking... and everything. I wake up around noon (cause I sleep like 4 in the morning). I'm definitely not a example. I hope this will change in a couple of months.

I tried to work out a little after I wake up... but I am just too lazy and I usually don't feel like I'm giving it full effort.

I wrote this question to caloriecount.com, telling them about this crazy schedule and how I am worried that I'm not getting the full benefits of my workouts. I am still waiting for the answer on that.

:/

It's good to know you're back on track. We're all humans and there are days we "deserve" to get sloppy. The important thing is not to give up.

I think that will never get enough of this program, from Turbo Jam and from Chalene. I just love so much!

I just have to share this with you ladies. After my workouts, I tend to be really hungry. I usually eat 3 cups of air popped popcorn (no butter), which gives me something around 90 - 100 calories. I feel so full after.. and I eat something I love while watching TV!

What do you girls eat after your workouts?

How are your results with the resistance bands? I have some money stashed away but would like to save it, I wasn't too sure about the resistance bands if they would give similar results.

MJKiddo -- good idea on the popcorn! I tend to work out 2-3 hours before bed so I eat something pretty light afterwards -- like half a piece of high-fiber bread with a little peanut butter... I used to drink protein shakes, but I decided they made me feel icky.... didn't taste good in water, and felt too full if I had a whole smoothie before bed. Sometimes I eat a can of tuna with a tiny bit of miracle whip. I hear you on the hunger though. I used to go through and demolish my cupboard after Chalean Extreme, which is why I do it later now. Probably not ideal, but if it keeps me from overeating I'm going to keep doing it.

In other news, I'm on my second run through the Push circuit and loving it. I have some SHOULDERS!!
