Thanks y'all. As much as I'd like to see that same number next week I'm sure it will slow down some. But, I am loving this!!!!!

Does anyone have any crockpot recipes that are phase 1 friendly? I like to cook with my crockpot while I am at work and need some ideas while on phase 1. I love to cook with chicken, beef and turkey. I would like to have some that don't use the Ideal protein packaged foods.

This was cross-posted here. I see people have answered you on the other thread. There are also numerous IP recipe threads and it isn't just packet hacks. There are bunches of dinner ideas in those threads as well.

Last week I had gained a pound.

This week I lost that one plus another 3.4 lbs!!! Goodbye 180's, at last! I am thrilled!!!

And, I will be in good shape for weigh in for Round 1 of my first DietBet game -- I needed to make it to 179 or less by Saturday. I have made it according to the IP scale, and this morning my home scale showed even 2lbs less -- just need to keep it off until Sunday so I can earn some compensation to help offset my IP costs to date.

oneuh2- Awesome job, I can't wait to see on Monday at my WI, I feel like I have lost more inches, and I was able to comfortably wear a pair of jeans that I haven't in a long long time. This is exactly the motivation I need- seeing results.

THIS is why I encourage people to persevere through the flatlines and slight upticks. The jagged line is all part of the weight loss cycle. But don't those big slides DOWN feel great? We need to remember the happy downsides for the next "break" (flatline or uptick) and remember the overall trend line is DOWN when we stick to protocol. Woo hoo! And 170s too!

Absolutely right. I think IP spoils us though - with those huge losses in the first few weeks, and we get addicted to seeing the big numbers.

Thanks for keeping us focused on the bigger picture, Lisa.

No change this week, but I am not surprised. My schedule is crazy intense and I know I need to add extra packets or even some added protein to my lunch. I am walking over 6 miles now throughout my day. I wish I was keeping better track of inches because even though the weight is coming off slowly right now, my clothes are feeling so much better!

Hgamroth:
Wow. 6 miles! What do you do for a living?
I'm a teacher. I travel from school-to-school so there is lots of sitting in the car.
