Missed my goal weight by 6.4lbs but lost 24lbs in the last 12 wks. That’s nothing to be ashamed of!

My next 12 wk goal weight will be my actual goal weight of 140. That is 28.4lbs…a challenge for sure but I keep feeling like my estimate “get to my goal weight” date keeps getting pushed back with crummy WIs. Gives me something to focus on and work towards! Ready to sign up. 

Wow. Just wow!!!

Of the 56 people in the challenge, 2 have hit their overall goal weight.
13 have lost 25 or more!

CenTxChic: The challenge doesn't end until Friday. You can certainly weigh in again then. A 30+ lb goal in 12 weeks (at the end of weight loss) is pretty lofty. You are doing FANTASTIC! You can certainly be loud and proud of your accomplishments.

ETA: Here is the link to the new challenge.
I'll start a new thread with the big announcement probably tomorrow.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...uhx6Rat80/edit
Everyone in this challenge can start sending requests. You all know how it works!
The new thread will have directions for new folks.

I just entered my final WI and yes I did reach my overall goal!!!! Thank you for organizing this lisa32989 . I have already requested to join the next challenge but not to lose weight just to maintain - I need some accountability that the scale will not start creeping up! I hope that it is ok.

I am so proud of you CenTxChk! It was not that long ago that you were lamenting, and you have flipped it around and you have become a true advocate for your own WL journey -- I am lovin' it!!!

I hope I will have a couple more pounds of loss to post in this Spring Challenge from my official IP WI on Thursday. Aside from this Challenge, I am less than 1 lb away from the Round 3 goal to be lost for my Diet Bet challenge - I certainly hope I will be able to drop that one more pound by the end of month.... I am crossing fingers because I am now in the VERY SLOW slide toward goal weight... Fractions of ticks on the scale are happening more often now - if I am lucky, I see downward movements in both inches and Fat % - but as good as both of these metrics are, they will not win me any money on the Diet Bet. So wish me the best....

Inspiring work, everyone!! My story is not so dramatic, heheheh. I continue to sit at the weight that I phased off at over a year ago (technically my goal), so that is a plus! I'm not at my real 'happy' weight but I'm pleased with my results so far and only a couple pounds off. Besides, where I live it's not quite bikini weather yet, highs on occasional days are up to 15C (approx. 60F), and I'm the gal who needs a fleece onesie to sleep in under the Hudson Bay wool blanket and a quilt,. One more weigh in... we'll see where that goes, and then work on the 'figure part of the competition', hahaah. I've got to get back to my Aquacize, but not during spring break when the pool is a madhouse!

I too lost 35 lbs the first time I did IP, I gained double back and then tried to restart probably close to 50 times or more! I would make it a fews days and cheat. I gave up for months until it just clicked in February and I realized how bad I really want this weight gone, I had to decide I dont care what people think of me when I come over for dinner or go out for lunch, I bring my own food and I decline all offers from friends and family and coworkers. Getting through the first week is just too hard I realize to screw it up after that, I dont want to cheat and deal with the awful carb flu withdrawal.

Im now a month in without cheating and Im starting to suddenly get some cravings, I just keep reminding myself that the first few days were just so hard and I dont want to go through that intial phase again!!!

You can do this! I never thought I could!
