I love having you girls to share the CLX experience. I take your advices seriously and helps me improve my workout and to give that extra effort.

I finished the Burn Phase and I'll be taking my pictures and measurements tomorrow. I feel thinner... my jeans are baggy... so I am excited.

I'll post my results tomorrow.

I'm glad to have you all to do CLX with too! I think the shared tips and advice will help us all get extreme results from the program.

I'm on my second week of Burn and did Extreme Abs + Burn Cir 1 yesterday. Used 20# and 25# for the squat and lunge moves, 15# for chest fly, and 10# and 12# for the posterior fly moves. Burned 398 cals. Did a 20m Firm Kettlebell workout last nite (burned 293 cals). Did TJ Cardio Party this morning and burned 681 cals. I love, love, love the Cardio Party workout! I've continued to lose weight during the burn phase so far. I weigh myself every Sunday. I'm not sure if the weight will keep coming off each week due to the whole "muscle weighs more than fat" thing. Plus many ladies reported that their pants actually felt tighter during periods of the Burn phase. We'll see...

Well, at the end of Phase 1 I lost a little over 8 inches... and I don't know if that's enough or if that was what I was expecting. I got a little bummed out after the measurements.... I really though I was going over 10 inches. I compared the pictures and I do look thinner, specially on the belly and on the hips. I hadn't the opportunity to go on a scale yet, so I don't know how much weight I did lose.

All I know is that an old pair of jeans fits nicely now. I have 2 other jeans to use as reference and I hope that by the end of day 90 I'll be able to fit in them too.

MJKiddo, congrats on your success! Trust me, 8 inches in only 4 weeks is alot and I think more progress than many have seen. Congrats and keep up the good work!

Monkeywish - congrats to you too for staying consistent with your workouts. Kudos to you!

I'm in my 2nd week of Burn Phase and am right on schedule. Loving my results thus far... Looking forward to Burn Intervals (my FAVE!) tomorrow.

Thanks girls! After reading your posts and giving it some thought, 8 inches is a good thing. It's waaaay better than nothing!

I did Push Circuit 1 and I've pushed myself waaaaay more than on the Burn Circuit. I really did fail on the 8th rep and I felt amazing about it! Today is rest day, but I'm gonna do TJ's Cardio Party 3.

I am so anxious for the Lean Phase... ohhh!!!

Smile ChaLEAN Extreme vs Deluxe

So I'm going to buy one of these. The Extreme is a lot cheaper, but I would also need some more weights. (only have up to 8lb weights now).

The Deluxe comes with 7 more workouts, and the bands, weighted gloves and exercise ball.

Which do you guys have? Which would you reccommend?

TIA!!

I would suggest you buy the Deluxe. You will miss these workouts later and maybe regret you didn't buy the deluxe package. :/

Today I was sooooo lazy, I almost skipped my cardio workout and do only the Push Circuit 2. That's the moment I HEAR Chalene on my head saying: "Give me just 5 minutes!!! I guarantee I will put you in the mood.". I'm so happy to hear her! You finish feeling like a champ!

I don't know if it happened before to you guys... but every time I do the Burpies, I tend to get dizzy and it's like my vision is getting darker. I have never done the burpies properly because of this. Even the modified version is making me dizzy... but I do it more reps (I can do like 10 - 13 reps). I can do push-ups (using the knees, not strong enough yet) and I can do the one leg lunges with jumps with no problems. :/ Weird. I just wanted to share this with you guys.

i recently received my order for CLX after i decided that ive had enough of ... slacking off and i regained the lost that i worked so hard to lose!! (ive had major results with TJ!)
my question i want to ask you all is how strict did you follow the food guide?
im scared to derail off the food guide with the fear of not achieving results ...
any advice or recommendations would be great!
thanks!

HI MjKiddo
that used to happen to me more then now days! i would get so scared!
but they say if you are doing them first thing in the am like i do 5:30am its because of the empty stomach! try a little someIN glass of milk maybe!
i hate to even think of anything other the water that early.....so what i been doing its drinking a whole glass of water or so and somedays i eat a quick few spoons of yogurt! but i dont always do that! Burpies are just though! as you get stronger you will do them without getting dizzy but they will still be tough ... somedays they are ok to do and other days my body just cant hang!!!!

If you go to the Beach Body website it gives you the option of just buying the upgraded DVDs.

I never really follow the food guides, but count calories and try and keep my fat/carb/protein ratios to 20/40/40. I use dailyburn.com (it has a free option). I do use the food guides for recipe suggestions. I'm a vegetarian so I end up substituting so much that it's usually easier just to create my own meal plan. I've seen good results with CLX logging my food. I am trying to lose weight and tone up and aim for 1,400 calories a day.
