Good morning, chicks.

DELPHI ~ Haven't seen that episode, but I can relate to the feeling. Just think what your loss woud be if not for the water! So what types of things do you do for cardio?

I had a nice surprise this morning. Down 1.8! I found that I have been taking three steps up and two steps back, weightwise, but yesterday's gain didn't repeat itself like it usually does Hope this is a new pattern. You all have a nice day, and stay OP.

Good morning chickies!!!

Is it Friday yet?! Sigh...I wish it was Friday!!!

Wifey~ Good to have you back! Things can get the better of us and set us on the wrong path--don't sweat it. You're back here and today is a new day! August is just around the corner and a perfect time for a fresh start!! Hope to see you around more!

FSA~ No worries hun! Thanks for taking care of the list and starting up the new thread for us! Yeah, I'm glad we sorted out all the job stuff too--gives my brain a break and a chance to focus on other stuff.

Tummy~ Well happy sort of Birthday to you girlie!! Now that's the way to spend the day after a party doing! Sleeping in...ahhh...and waking up to a big fat loss!! Yee haw! That's awesome!!! WTG! Hmm, I swore I read you had run 45 mins one day...hmm, oh well, you're still kickin' my heiny! I am thinking of starting the C25K but my concern is that for the first few weeks I'll be 'taking it easy' compared to what I've been doing with HIIT the past 8 weeks, kwim? I don't know...I need to hurry up and figure out what I'm going to do--August is almost here! Anyway, hope you had fun at the bonfire!!!

Ang~ Hey you!!! I was wondering how you were! How's your dd? I hope she's doing well! You've been plugging right along while you've been gone--WTG!! I hope that we'll see you around more next month! But even if we don't, it's always great to hear from you and you keep up the great work hun!!!

Susie~ You did it again! 3 for 3!! WTG chickie! Hope you had a wonderful OP day yesterday! You're already on the road today too--woo hoo! You're back in full force!!

Delphi
~ Woo hoo on the loss girlie!! Hahaha about Sponge Bob! I'm all puffy too--perhaps it is pre TOM? I didn't realize how close he was to coming until you mentioned it (it sure is nice having a cycle twin! )! Dang! He's right around the dang corner! No wonder I've been such a psycho #*&@$!!! Anyway, I'm going to be hitting the grocery store, making rock candy with the boys and *trying* to get on top of all the basic chores that need to be done around here--so yeah, I'm up for a challenge--just so long as it starts after I get back! Whatcha got in mind? Hahaha! Okay, I just noticed your new avatar! I don't have a clue as to what 'fragged' means, but it's still making me laugh!

NSM~ yeah, we need to really start focusing on celebrating our anniversary and spending quality alone time together! The kids kind of suck all the life out of me and poor hubby kinda gets left in the dust. So...have you got your exercise in today yet? Hmm?

Couch~ Congrats on making your goal!!! Now listen up, you gotta come here and share the wealth k? I mean, if you're losing and staying motivated, ya gotta come here and post about it! We feed of that stuff girlie! Seriously though, glad to see you, hope you're in for next month too!

Mom~ "I outta have mine committed" Good one! I ended up making burritos for Chris and the kids and had a chicken burrito salad with my homemade tortilla chips (no salt of course). It was YUMMY! I could eat that every single night! Mmmm! Of course you can have the basement! Duh! I've been saying that for how long now? Sheesh! Just get out here already woman! And unfortunately, your ESP isn't tuned in just right...nope, no 14- yet. I'm still sitting a bit above my goal. I'm trying not to get all huffy about it, especially since I was soooo close yesterday, but darn it! I was soooo close!!! Oh well, I will keep my eye on the prize and keep at it! Glad you signed up for next month too! And Congrats on getting your siggy!!! Now, next month you'll have to add another to keep track of you August goal too!

Well ladies, I'm up a little today, still below 151, but darn it, not at 150 yet. Sigh...oh well, soon enough right? Right!

It's been a long week and it's only Wednesday. Now that I realize TOM is so close that helps me to understand why I've been so dang grouchy, but still...ugh! I've been over the top grumpy! As you all know I have depression issues and a pretty bad case of PMDD. So today, after much mulling over it last night, I decided to up my meds. When the dr gave them to me he told me to take 1/2 a pill for a week and go to a full pill after that, well, I never did go to a full pill. I've been on a 1/2 pill for a few months now, so now that I'm starting to have issues again, I figured I should just go with the full pill. I mean, I could have called him first, but I KNOW he would have just said, 'yeah, take a whole pill' so I made an executive decision.

Anyway, that's about all that's going on here. I'm still working on my exercise goals and am thinking about doing the C25K. I mentioned to Tummy that I'm concerned that maybe I'd be taking it easy after what I've been doing with the HIIT program, since it starts out much less intense than what I've been doing. So, here's a question for ya, do you think I should just keep doing my HIIT and add in the C25K? With both of them they say to do the workouts 3X a week--if I did them both would that screw it up? And if I do them both should I do them both on the same day? Still leaving me 3 cardio days a week/3 ST'ing days and a day off? I dunno. I know there are a couple of you who do cardio a couple times a day right?

Well ladies, I need to get Ab, get her fed, get everyone ready to go and hit the grocery store. Delphi~ you keep me posted on that challenge okay?

Okay girls, get out there and have a wonderful day!!! And of course...

Drink Your Water!!!

Good morning all! Thanks for all the sweet birthday wishes. It was a really nice day DH took a half day and we golfed and had a good family day after that. Nothing flashy, but nice. The cheesecake comes Friday when I celebrate at my parents' house. Last night was chocolate cupcakes which were the lightened up version and were yummy...but I'm waiting for a delicious (tiny) slice of cheesecake!!!
I have almost recovered from the weekend, so another OP day (or 2) should defintely do it for me.

Delphi-Congrats on being a huge loser! LOL (I mean that in the best way possible, of course.) You are unstoppable right now~holy cow!

Sandye-Glad you and DH came to agreement on the job thing. I would've done the same as you since I'm all about family time!

LTTG-Good news on coming back down. That's a good pattern for sure! Just keep up the good work even when the evil scale tries to discourage you.

Susie-Excellent job checking in. Is it making the difference for you?

Fullsteam-Thanks for taking up the list "job" while we're without Jacqui...I hope she's doin' alright. You are the best and I really appreciate your encouragement!

That's all for me right now. I gotta get more organizing done. We don't start school until Sept. 1 here, but I'm already going through the kids' clothes to see what they need/have so I can be prepared. I think next week I'll be doing the school supply shopping. I got "the lists" from the school for what they both need, so that's half the battle.

Way to go on the loss LTTG...and for sticking with it. For cardio I do the treadmill, or the MFC, or even a video...or a bunch of different things I guess. Perhaps an exercise video?

Sandye ~ Sorry chicky, I've already started on my closet. But you jump right on in with it girlfriend. get some of this cleaning awesomeness.. Neener neener neener...Oh my gosh, I'm almost embarrassed to post before pics of it, it's like our linen closet..and what a mess..but I'm working on it. I'm even finding crib sheets and stuff from when I had my oldest in there..urg, and lets not talk about all the broken stuff...and plastic from toilet paper and paper towels..*sighs* Sorry to hear you're feeling all blah, but you know, you can fake it, get busy and try to keep your mind off of it. Oh and fragged, is when you chuck a grenade at someone (in a video game) like frag grenade... So yeah, I purchased that shirt last year and yesterday I was able to fit back into it...awesome I tell ya.

MsP ~ Thanks, just trying to follow you gals and your outstanding examples.

Morning,

Ang - Nice to see you back and holding your own. Hope everything's getting better with dd and how long until dh deploys?

FSA - Thanks! I love me some dancing carrots in the morning!

Susie - Good to see you posting and eating well, right on!

NSM - Get that body rocking girl, and it totally would have been nicer to be closer to ppl, any ppl really, I can't see ppl at all from my house but alas it's mostly nice and cheaper here than other places, but coming from winnipeg there was some monster sticker shock out here too. Super glad you guys found a place

Delphi - that song is stuck in my head now Lovin' the Sponge Bob, that guy is one crazy drug trip. Yaaaaayyy on the pound, you can just see 189 if you peek over the hill there, I bettca b/f the month is over hot stuff, you'll have it. LOVE the shirt.

Couch - Welcome back, and congrats on goal! That one must have snuck up on you but good work!

LTTG - That's the nasty part of some cardio, it's grossly boring. I think after I'm finished my HIIT, my elliptical and I are going to have a trial separation, maybe not a total divorce but definitely not going to talk to each other for awhile. Hang in there, we've got 2 days left, bloat can come and go just as fast. Whoya a ticker!!!!! Congrats. Yay, you're back down, just had to keep reading!

CMo4 - I do multiple cardio and have no issues energy wise with it (although only one child ) My thought would be to do your HIIT sessions still as you're transitioning into the harder stages of C25K. Why not have the extra deficit? I just went and looked at the schedule and I'm sure you could handle something more intense than the beginning too. Come to think of it, I'm running alternate days and doing HIIT on the other days so yes it can be done! And there have been days that I have run and done HIIT the same day, maybe only once come to think of it, and it wasn't difficult, I just separated them by food and a number of hours.

So yesterday was not a fluck, down another 0.2 today to an even 186 after not eating at the bonfire last night. All that nasty food just doesn't look nearly as good as I do now so it can kiss it.

I hadn't filled in my deficits for the last few days and it turns out my body had burnt those 2.6lbs that I thought came out of nowhere but just hadn't dropped them yet. It's really amazing how it truly is calories in calories out, right now I'm only off by 350cal for the entire month, pretty amazing stuff!

Bonfire was great last night, good times with good people, there was a great turnout, every officer but one came out with their families so the kids played till dark and slept like the dead, wonderful. Didn't get home until late last night and after getting up at 6am I could sure use a nap and it's only 8, gonna be a long day. Gotta go figure out my August goals, this could take some time, we're gone for two weeks in the middle of the month for my fil wedding in Nova Scotia and I won't have a scale and not alot of food preparation control either so I'm not going to be quite as ambitious next month.

Hello ladies, I hope everyone has been doing great. I haven't had a chance to read all the posts since I have been gone.

We have finally got most of everything put away. I haven't found the scale yet LOL but I am sure I don't won't to this week. I have been eating right with the move and I wasn't able to cook my meals. I feel very fat today.... I am hoping it won't be to bad. I guess I will just have to start a new day again.....

I am very happy to be in the new house things are great here. I'll check in later. Have a wonderful day.

mystical ~ back!

Tummy ~ Girl you are just getting it done this month, I'm sure August will be just as good. I have faith that even on your trip you will do what you gotta do to stay POP. You rock girly and inspire me daily.

Alright ladies, Sandye was like chasing me around with a rollin' pin this morning, and I promised I would get some organizing done today and she finally stopped chasing me, but geez lady. I almost pulled out a frag, but theres no cheating in our cleaning challenges. Ok, so none of that happend, well it did, just in the cobweb infested, delusion induced, corners of my mind

Alright so here we go...before

and after...take that you uber scary rollin' pin. Mwah ha ha ha!

The bottom of the closet needed to be cleaned out as well, that was the worst part. When I finished I noticed mold from where the tub is on the other side of this closet....put in a call to the rent man to..it's pretty bad. Glad Sandye, made me do this.

LOL Delphi. My day is just starting and look at what you've accomplished already.

I was going to sit here for a while and do personals, since I had a ton of excuses for not exercising today, the main one being is too darn hot in here, but I noticed Sandye's rolling pin out and Tummy's nice words, so I will go exercise and come back for personals later.

See you in a bit!

Good afternoon girls!!!

MsP~ Oooh, so you still haven't gotten your cheesecake? Mmmm, that's awesome that you still it to look forward to! I can't wait to hear all about it's yummy goodness! I hear ya on getting the lists! Sheesh, those things are a mile long aren't they? I don't know about where you are, but the stores here are having insane sales on school supplies! .19 for a 24 ct box of crayons, .60 for 3 70pg spiral ring notebooks, oh it's just crazy! I've been stockin' up like crazy! If only I had a place to put all this stuff!

Delphi~ Oh many you're killin' me!!! If only I was chasing you around with a rolling pin! Maybe then I would be burning extra calories for the day! Great job on the closet! I have 2 that need my attention but I'm not sure I have it in me today. One is our hall coat closet that has become a dumping ground for who knows what and the other is our linen closet upstairs which is too small for all of our linens so you can imagine what that looks like. But if I do decide to tackle it, I'll be sure to take pics for ya!

Tummy~ thanks for the input re: the HIIT and C25K--I've decided to do them both! Egads! I hope I can keep it up all month! If not I guess I can always revise the ol' goals right? Congrats on another loss!! Woo hoo! Gotta love it when it sticks!! You're doing so awesome girlie!!! Don't sweat the upcoming wedding dear! You'll be fine! You survived a Girls' Weekend and came back with a loss right? Heck ya you did!!! You can totally do a Wedding! No problem!

Mystical~ Welcome back hun!!! Glad to hear you're all settled in! Now don't fret those moving pounds--if in fact there are any--they'll come right off once you're back in your routine! So glad to see you again hun!!!

Jacque~ Hmm...suggestions? I dunno, I mean you're past your goal, you've got great muscle tone...um...do you need/want to lose anymore weight at this point? Or do you just want to firm up some more? Perhaps you could set goals that have to do with nutrition? I dunno. Man, I wasn't help at all was I? Sorry.

Susie~ I see you! 2/3 Woo hoo!!

NSM~ not that I don't want to hear more from you, but I sure am glad you left--to get your workout in! Hee hee! Hope you have a fantastic workout, sorry if my rolling pin scared you!

Well ladies, I figured my exercise goals out and posted them over on the new exercise thread so it's Official!

Oh, I wanted to share a NSV! None of my stretchy, comfy pants fit me anymore--they're all too big () so I wanted to wear something comfy to do my lower body ST'ing today...well, I grabbed a pair of lycra workout pants that I have that I never wear because they've always been too tight and being that they're light gray instead of my staple black--they're not very slimming. Anyway, I grabbed them and figured 'who cares, it's not like hubby's gunna say anything and I'm not wearing them in public anyway' and as I'm putting them on it occurs to me that they're fitting differently. In fact, they're quite roomy! I mean, nothing is hugging anything and they're loose on me!!! Not fall down around my ankles loose--but loose nonetheless! I was quite pleased.

Well, that's about it for me! I did my shopping and bought myself the Cooking Light Complete Cookbook (I'm a cookbook junkie and one of these days I'm gunna learn how to cook--I swear!!! ) and I'm going to grab my water and browse through it a bit.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day!!!

Sandye-you crack me up...I LOVE cookbooks too. I enjoy cooking and I'm not too bad at it, if I do say so myself. I have the Cooking Light cookbook but haven't used it yet because at the time I thought it wasn't as "light" as I wanted. I'm in a different place now with my eating, so I should try out some of the recipes. Now, where did I put that thing? Ooh and congrats on your not-so-tight workout pants! Yay!!

Jacque-I have a friend who is thin and tall...always looks terrific. Anyway, she works out on the elliptical a few days a week and then burns cals chasing her 3 young kids around. It's her maintenance plan, she says. If it were me, I'd do 2-3 days of moderate strength training and 2-3 days of moderate cardio (as simple as walking briskly) and figure out what my maintenance calorie level is and make it a goal to stay there. Maybe tone up any areas that I feel need attention (like an inches goal). Just some ideas. Good luck. I still haven't posted my August goals!

Well, today I scrubbed the tub, got some exercise and attempted to find room decor online for my daughters' room. We're re-doing it and I am torn on what style to go with. Oh well. It's been a good, productive day.

You did help!!! Thanks...I think I will focus on nutrition. Not sure how or what, but still have a few days to think about it. And look at you...you are past goal as well!!! Good job!!!

Well I am thin (finally) but I am no where near tall. Wish I could set a goal to grow 3 inches I know that in September I will be changing my exercise routine as my boot camp will be over, but I haven't decided how/what I will do. But I have to worry about August now. But I do like the idea of concentrating on inches.

So there ya have it....my goals are to concentrate on nutrition, toning and inches. But I do need to figure out the what/how of each of those things....thankx ladies.
