Jacque~ Woo hoo! See? I told you you'd drop that weight! Hurray for being back in the 120's!! You're awesome!!!
I am going to weigh again today as it is my regular day to do that, so keep your fingers crossed. Last night we celebrated my son's 16th and I had a few drinks, cake and pizza...yikes!!!

You will have to tell me how you like it. I am considering trying it in the fall.
Tummy~ WOO HOO!!! On the panties of course! Congrats on making it to a new decade!!! Yeah baby!! I had a feeling I'd be welcomed with good news from you! I hope the birthday party planning is going well! I'm with you, goodie bags are the devil! My sil was smart, thew in a kazoo (without the little paper piece that gives it it's oh so charming tune making abilities Smart girl she is!) and some teddy grahams--no candy! Gotta love that! How old is your dd going to be? The girls are turning 3 in August and hubby wants a big to do...sigh...we'll see.
LTBH~ Another WOO HOO!!! Congrats on making your goal too! Wow, everyone is just doing so fantastic! Good luck with your surgery and check back when you can! Be sure to take care of yourself k?
Nello~ yeah, hard to believe July is almost over huh? This month has flown by! Congrats on your big loss! You're sooooo close to your goal! Keep up the great work!
Delphi~ I missed you yesterday! It just wasn't the same without your early morning post! Hope you got good sleep last night hun! Congrats on the loss!! You're pluggin' right along! I totally agree with you about changing things up! I think that's been a big part of why I've come so far. Speaking of which, August is right around the corner! Ack! We need to start making new goals!!!! Glad to hear Canaan's feeding went well the other night, how did upping it last night go?
Glutio~ your house is beautiful! Your hard work certainly paid off hun!! I hope that it sells super fast!!! I hope you aren't coming down with anything--Zicam is a lifesaver for me (for sniffles and head colds at least)--I don't use the swabby thingies, but I take the lozenges and I tell ya, that usually knocks my colds out in a couple of days! Take care and be sure to get your rest!!
Jacque~ oooh, that sounds like a fun time! Mmmm, pizza! I love that stuff! I hope the scale is kind to you!
Susie~ Happy Belated Birthday (can't remember if I wished you one on your Birthday or not ) Don't fret falling off the wagon, shake it off hun! You're back on track now, so it's all good! Now get out there and pick some blueberries!!!
Well girls, once again I am so glad it's Friday!!! It's been another long week and I'm ready for some R&R. Yeah, okay, so that's not likely to happen, but I can pretend right?
Hubby took the boys to a race last night, they had a good time! He's going to another one on Saturday night too--perhaps I can sneak out of here on Saturday morning and try on some more shoes?
I have started poking around this wonderful board some more and was reading the Calorie Counters threads--I came away from there determined to revamp my eating habits. I realized I'm probably not getting enough fat in my diet. Also, as I've mentioned, I want to get away from over processed foods and that includes artificial sweeteners and fat free stuff. So, anyway, that'll be part of my August Goals--anyone else working on their new goals? Hmm?
Another good scale day today! Another pound bites the dust! 152 even!! I'm trying not to get all giddy and excited about being 2 lbs away from my goal...in my head I feel like if I do, I'll stall out or backslide--stupid, I know, but since getting over 150 I've never been this close to it, kwim? I honestly can't remember the last time I saw it. Anyway, I'm just trying to remain calm even though I'm really feeling all
Well ladies, I better get going. Have a wonderful, amazing, fun filled day and of course, be sure to...
I've been taking things probably too slowly the last few days. My biggest accomplishment was selling my old dining room set through craigslist yesterday for more than my mom thought it would go for Other than that, I've mostly just been cleaning up after myself and not working on anything. The biggest thing I have to do is relocate or dispose of this big pile of garden rocks and stepping stones. My friend's mom wants the rocks, so that's good, and I think I may put some stepping stones down near the barn door side of the shed. That area can get really mucky after it rains. I also need to finish painting inside, move a few more things to the shed, and clean up the laundry room some. Nothing major
On the weight front, my morning weigh-in today put me at 268.5!!!! Official lowest weigh-in yet!!! Woot! Off to change my tickers!
Sandye ~ You have every right to be so excited. You've worked hard to get to this point so enjoy it dear. for dropping another pound to. I'm tellin' ya, we should definitely consider a mixer when all of this is said in done. A maintenance 3FC mixer. I was sitting down trying to work through my goals for August. I'm getting bored with everything except my ST of course, plus school will start for us in two weeks. So I need to have that schedule in mind as I set mine and my goals. I need something to spice up my routine and just need to get a fresh start, given the horrible emotional rollarcoaster I was on this month. I think just starting fresh will make a difference for me. I put my treadmill up last month I became so bored with it and now I'm getting bored with the cardio I've been doing and in all reality, I'm not burning enough calories a day to support a two pound a week loss anymore, unless I want to eat under a thousand calories, and I'm so not gonna do that. I need to find ways to be more active. At any rate, my point is yes, I'm figuring out my goals for next month. Have a groovy day!
Tummy ~ Way to go darling! Welcome to the new decade. You must be elated and you should be. I haven't been in the 180's since before I met my ex...so about six years, so that's definitely gonna be a biggie for me as well. I bet your hubby is just head over heels for all this hard work you're doing..eh?
Susie ~ Happy belated Birthday darling.
Glutio ~ I've never even heard of Barlett? What major city are you guys near?
As for me, I managed to get in an hour of cardio last night and an hour walking this morning, but still have my ST to do as well. I love M,W,F,days. Anywho, I'll be glad for our new challenge to start. I need some fresh goals and a fresh start desperately. I don't know, the way things played out this month, it just feels incomplete. So yeah, definitely considering my goals for August and getting ready for the school year. I'll have get out all those clothes I put up in may/june and start getting school clothes back out, washed and hung up again. Oh and school supplies...this should be an interesting week next week.
Well I'm off. I think I'm gonna go do some DDR. Tootaloo ladies!
Susie - Glad to see you back again, you gotta do it, buckle down hard and do it for a week then it's so much easier.
Jacque - I will definitely keep you updated on the sore stiff legs, no worries. I hope it provides some much needed variety.
Delphi - Thanks It feels pretty awesome.
CMo4 - It may have taken 5 days but it feels just as good today as it would have on Monday, and maybe even a bit better. I'm with your sil, just some crackers and some little (quiet) toys, I hate leaving a party with my dd who already ate her weight in cake and garbage only to have more candy in a cute little bag. Mine will be 3 on July 27, at least it's half the party yours will be I have to agree about what you said about the processed food, not only is it so much better for us but the more I've researched it and read up on the additives the easier it is to just not want to put that into my body anymore. Before if it was low calorie all the better and now I realize that what I was eating didn't much resemble food at all. I even noticed last week that my oil cooking spray had propane and butane in it. Yummy, nothing says healthy like lighter fluid for dinner!
Running was marvelous this morning and it wasn't even hard getting up today, even before the good scale news. It sure makes a difference to get five good nights of sleep after such a busy weekend. Even after this long week of staying exactly the same no matter what, it dawned on me today that not once did I think, this is crap, or this doesn't work or I should quit, or I should have this one thing since I'm not losing anyway, not once. I just kept on keeping on and knew that what I was doing was fine and it would be ok. That was quite a stride for me mentally, I'm used to have quite the internal dialouge in my head about eating unplanned food.
Glutio - Woohoo chickie, that's some great numbers! Congrats.
Delphi - You know I think I may have been happier this morning seeing 189 than I was at 199, I've been in the 190's through 220 the majority of my adultness so this kind of feels like something new and exciting and only 22lbs from my lowest ever. Dh is very happy but reserved as he always is, he is very complimentary and endlessly comments on the "little butt" but he's more amazed that I'm up running so early and doing all the exercise. OMG you've almost lost 40lbs my dear, that's astounding and only a few more lbs until the 180's yourself! August it is!

Tummy ~ You've done such an amazing job both physically and mentally. You should be very proud as I know I am...of you of course. I would give anything to be able to walk/run around my neighborhood every morning, I bet it keeps things fresh. Where I am, I could take a different route every morning if I could do it. You gals are lucky I tell ya. Good to hear the great strides your making though. That is more than half the battle right there.
Well I just finished my DDR and let me tell you, I can do a whole lot more now that I am lighter. I didn't realize I could move my legs that fast and man I was sweating after the first song. Definitely intense. The funny thing was my oldest tried it and said, here momma you take over, it's too hard for me. I was like ...reeeeeeeeeeeeeally? I might integrate that into my routine for next month...I guess we shall see.
HI girlssssssssssss aw you guyssssssssssss, or gals rather........congratulationsssssssssss on making goal! Happy friday
Tummygirl and Lookingtobehealthy, Congratulations on having met goal girls :ch eer:

Hi blondie It's good to hear from you , as always. We miss you too. It's good that your maintaining and wtg on keeping up with your exercising, I think that helps a lot. I'm glad you posted : )....it helps us. I need to get back with it too....I'm too much of a hooligan in summer..lol.. DH will be eating healthy with me so thats great. You hang in there girl and just get back to it as best you can. We still have 1 week left and don't forget...we start a new month soon too : ) so we can all help each other. HOpe your new position is going well. By the way....you were saying how one day you bring in frozen meals to work for lunch. Get a load of this........mama roseis lasagna has 290 cals (60 fat) and only costs 1.79 at market basket. Now then, Lean cuisine lasagna has , I beleive 360 cals (only 1 more oz.) and 70 fat cals! plus you pay more... Watch out for those lean cuisines...some are very high in fat. Anyways...wanted to tell you about my recent discovery (while dh was away) lol... keep on truckin
Late to the game.....ty much . That book you are reading sounds very good, ty for sharing : ). HOpe you had a wonderful time with your youngest back home and hearing all the scoop about camp! Ny neice is at camp this week. IT doesn't sound as if your physical went too bad..with your cholesterol being "a tad bit" high. It shows that your very consciense of it all and I think your doing wonderful. I'm long overdue myself and I am so dreading it. Hope you got your workout in today ...have a wonderful weekend
Sandye...................congratulations on getting those lb. right back down wtg girl!!!!
Glutio........congrats on having your house listed. Your home looks absolutely lovely . Ty for sharing.....It does worry me a bit though with the info displayed. Now that we saw the home and all ...please consider editing and erasing it. IT's up to you of course.......it's not the group here that worries me but the internet in general. We must be extra careful these day. Good luck with the sale girl, keep us posted
susie....gtsy wtg on getting back on plan today. Hang in there and post when you can. have a great weekend
Delphi, wtg on the DDR! I have heard so much about that. I am goign to look into getting it this fall.
Girls....I will start our new thread for August next week (a few days before the first) okay? YOu all have been so great.........even though the summers are typically hard for me....I have managed to control my weight and not let things spiral...your all such an inspiration and absolutely sooooooo nice to chat with. : )
Jacqui....how are you my dear girl? That dang pc of yours! I hope the issue gets resolved soon. We miss you much............a big hug You know we well be right here waiting for you upon your return.
Hi lewis, Ms. P, newshinyme, Lene, Lea (congratssssssss on the apt. ) and a big hello to you all.
As for my news........DH is back I'm happy...I was ok in the beginning but it was getting lonely towards the end, I missed him. He got home around 12:30...it was so nice. THe pup and kitties were waiting by the door too! lol they were so cute. We went out to brunch and that was great. Still bad weather here this week but it's supposed to clear tonight. I have to run...it stopped raining and i need to go put the bunnys carrot out. Talk soon girls...Have a great weekend
FSA ~ Sounds good on the new thread. I believe I have my goals meshed out, so I'm excited about getting another month going. Glad to hear you've been maintaining over the summer, that is still a great accomplishment. Anything is better than gaining all the weight back..eh? I bet you are happy to have the hubby home and yeah DDR is alright. It can get boring like anything else though. At any rate, have yourself a great weekend.
As for me, I squeezed in some mowing on the front lawn and I think I am offically done for the day. I'm beat I tell ya. I hope gals had a groovy day.
Delphi - you do have all the coolest toys, DDR is such good fun too. And thanks for the kind thoughts, I think we're all doing pretty great, even just to come here and post especially when we feel like gack, one foot in front of the other. Unfortunately, I only have one way to run , down a gravel road and then some more gravel. I can turn one of two ways off my road and one way has a crazy dog that I don't want to deal with, hence one way only. I'm looking forward to seeing what crazy goals you come up with next month my dear.
FSA - Glad to here you've got your man back where he belongs and wtg on maintaining through your toughest part of the year, that's wonderful commitment.
Running a bit behind today and feeling exhausted, like near crawling across the floor when finished my circuit training today. Guess what that means, yup, I need to find me a big dark cave to hang out if for a few days. It's funny how I notice pre TOM exhaustion so much more now, I imagine it's because I was so tired all the stinking time I doubt I noticed a difference. Talk to you ladies tomorrow.
SANDYE Woo hoo on the new # on the scale. I cant remember when it was so wee. Glad you joined the 21st century and learned how to use the ipod! Dave gets me through anything.
TUMMY ~ LOL about losing your teeth! Oh, goodness, I hope you weren't serious! A big woo hoo on the panties for reaching the180s!! A virtual cave to you. I know how hard it is to escape when you have a little one. Do you have any others (besides the almost 3 yo girl)?
LOOKING ~ A big woo hoo to you too for reaching goal!
DELPHI ~ So are you just loving Lost? I can't wait for the new season! No, I did not get to my ST on Thursday. The cardio did me in that day. What is DDR? I love that your oldest could not keep up with you!!
[B][COLOR="red"]NELLO ~ B]You are so close!!
[B][COLOR="red"]GLUTIO ~!B] Your house is so pretty!
[B][COLOR="red"]JAQUEE ~ /B] I'm right there with you on the pizza! My son just started working at a new pizza joint. They have thin crust, which I'm not ordinarily a fan of, but it was good! I think it will be my new pizza of choice. Have to keep the place in business, he needs the job!!
[B][COLOR="red"]SUSIE ~ /B]Happy belated birthday to you!
[COLOR="red"]FSA ~ ] Glad your hubby is home. About that physical. Don't put it off. Better to nip something in the bud.
Okay, let's see. I didn't post yesterday, I was too pooped. I did my cardio, just 2.10 miles and 10 minutes on the bike. The plan was to come home and to ST. Didn't make it. So today I did upper and lower ST. The weight is driving me nuts. After 24 days, I am down just 4.6. So frustrating! I am exercising (for the first time in my life) six days a week, and counting calories. I feel a little better, so I'll continue, but still!!!!! My doctor tells me I need to relax ( regarding the cholesterol, stress is bad), so I am wondering what you girls do to chill. I need a hobby. What do you do for fun and relaxation? I read , but that isn't really a hobby. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Hope you all have a great weekend, and stay OP!
