Well girls.........ok here....TOM got me bad this morning but I'm happy because I will have it gone and out of the way to start our new month. I did finally hop on the scale the other day and was up ...sure TOM didn't help but I am eager and ready for our new month. DH and I went grocery shopping yesterday (thank god...no way I could of gone today) and so I'm all ready for the next several days and will go back shortly when need be to be certain I don't run out of ingredients for our new month.

Hey ladies, not much time. We just got our next disk of LOST and it shall begin momentarily, but I had to tell you ladies this. I just RAN on my treadmill doing intervals at 5.0 mph and it was no sweat. My knees are holding up perfectly and I got quite the workout in a short period of time. I'm just trippin' out. I've never been able to get it past 4.0 and almost fell off the damn thing when I started running on 5.0. Oh yeah Now I'm on a mission. I'm gonna work my endurance up, so that I can do a twenty minute running session..I'm so excited, and I just can't fight it, I'm about to lose control and I really like it. Now that songs a blast from the past. Get those leg warmers and head bands out ladies..it's time to jazzercise....roflmao!

I'll catch up with personals in the morning. I think you ladies are wonderful and I just don't know what I would do without you. I love you gals soooooooooo effin' much.

Ms.P~ Hee hee, I do love a good cookbook! Unfortunately I usually end up buying ones that are all wrapped up so I can't flip through them and when I get them home I find that they're filled with wacko exotic stuff I don't have on hand or can't find anywhere. I did try a new recipe tonight though--well, sort of. There's a Grilled Summer Squash recipe in the Cooking Light one I just got--basically it's a marinade you throw on squash before you grill it--Mmmm! I pan seared my zucchini, threw in a huge handful of baby spinach, added a a serving of chicken and tossed it all together with some whole wheat pasta--YUMMO! So, I've officially used the new book! That's amazing for me, not even a whole day in the house yet too! Can't wait to hear what you're doing your dd's room in! We are in dire need of bedroom makeovers here in this house!! I could use an idea or two for the girls' room!


Jacque~ hurray! You decided on a goal! Perhaps you can chat with the girls on the exercise board and get ideas for ramping up your toning? As for nutrition...is there anything you should cut out of your diet? Something you should add (like how I always need to amp up my fruits and veggies )? I'm sure you'll come up with something before August!

FSA~ sorry to hear TOM is in town--is it me or do the months just fly by and he seems to be here all the dang time?! Ugh! You're lucky, TOM will be here mostly likely this weekend, right at the beginning of the month. Hmph! Poo! No matter, I will tell him to kiss it! Glad to hear you got all your shopping done! Well today has been a very stressful day, i think everything is starting to get to me. hubby leaves in 10 days for 14 months, and daughter is still driving me crazy. they think that she has graves diesease, and right now is eating a 8000 calorie deit a day, and still losing tons of weight. she 9 yrs old, and is weaing size 5 clothing. she is losing about 3 lbs a week, and is getting to skinny, and very very very very very very well you get the point hyper, and winny...and the other 3 are following her lead. i hope we get test results back tommorow so we can start medication, before i have a nervous break down.

Lost 50 pounds from March 30th - July 21st, 2009

I have been over-weight all my life. My mother was very old fashioned and cooked everything with pure fat. Throughout high school I could never wear the in style clothing. I always shopped in the large women section. I never went to school dances as I was always embarrassed by my weight.

I remember one time when my niece came and visited; she went into my bedroom and came out saying, "Look I can fit my whole body in one pant leg." I was mortified.

I continued being overweight throughout my teenage life and early twenties. After having my first two children I managed to lose some weight and get to my lowest weight ever at 162 pounds. Unfortunately the weight didn't stay off very long, and after having two more children, I found myself at the highest weight I have ever been: 267 pounds.

I tried many diets ... Weight Watchers, LA Weight Loss, juicing, starvation, purging, cabbage soup diet, grapefruit diet ... and numerous diet pills. I would drop some of the weight but it would quickly return, until one day I was reading my Facebook and got an email from my niece. She was starting an online weight loss program for 12 weeks and whoever lost the most weight would win $500.00. I joined up, thinking $500.00. However, little did I know, my life would change.

In order to participate in her weight loss program I had to commit to taking Body Wise Élancé protein shakes. I was very skeptical at first and thought, yeah right, there is no way that this is going to work.

Well, March 30th was my first day on the program. I weighed 265 pounds. That morning I made my first Body Wise protein shake. Now I'm hooked and can't imagine a morning going by without one. Not only are they filling and full of quality protein and vitamins, but they only have one gram of sugar and taste amazing. They taste so good that even my children ask for one every morning for breakfast. I love the fact that I can make them in a rush -- 30 seconds and I'm out the door.

I still questioned myself on whether or not I would stick with the commitment for 12 weeks. I did.

At the end of the 12 weeks I was down 37 pounds, but I didn't stop there. I continued to have my morning protein shake and to my surprise, when I went to the doctor last week, I was down 49 pounds. The nurse asked me what diet I was doing and I said I'm not following any diet program. I'm having a Body Wise protein shake every morning and making healthy choices. I do still allow myself that extra treat every once in a while, just not every day.

Now I can keep up with my four children. Before I couldn't do any of it. I couldn't go to the beach because I was embarrassed, or practice soccer with my daughter, or go skiing. I used to be on the sidelines.

Although I have lost 50 pounds, my journey is not over. I still have another 65 pounds to go till I reach my goal weight. But with the support of my family and friends i now i can do it.

I am happy to report I am back under my July goal weight...down to a new low. I am about to go over and set my August goals now.

day 2 of TOM here and pretty bad so it's a sit around day which I hate. At least I will be okay tomorrow and thereafter. Dh is lucky he went to work today, lololol : ), I wouldn't of been able to do anything with him. Amazing how fast the time has gone by,,,,,,,,, our last day ladies!

As for me girls...my eating has been good. I just feel bloated though but that will pass. THere is a big 8 day long festival in a nearby town (started last sunday) and runs through the weekend. Havn't gone yet...there are fireworks sat. night and a parade sunday. IT's an all day and night event with booths set up......bands in front of the river at night. Lot's of fun and lot's of food! lol I always pass up that junk food stuff though (I don't trust a lot of those stands so that's good! lol).
well....I want to call my dad and see how he made out at the dentist. Hope you all have a super day girls.........It's been a great month with you all and I look forward to continuing our journey together
