Wow, so many good reports this morning, have we got the MOJO or WHAT? YES WE DO!
Darby -- 1 pound to GO -- whoo hoo! I think the key to starting any running program is starting slow, slow, slow. Adding very SMALL segments (30 seconds) of running to your walks. Then adding 1 minute segments, etc. Most people are so anxious to go fast, and "DO IT" that they injure themselves and get discouraged. You may find as you lose weight that it gets easier, and I recommend really following a good Couch-to-5k program, repeating weeks whenever you don't feel great! But walking is great, and so is swimming for that matter!
Congrats TM on 145.8 -- you are SO CLOSE! I bet you're going to be thrilled when you get in the 130s!
Leeza -- great job on having such a fabulous week regardless of this challenge! Already 4 down ROCKS!
All right women lets get this one over with and on to a new one!! I bought digital scales about a week ago but to be fair been using my old ones for this challenge! Yes I'm a weirdo and bought new scales because they went with the bathroom better but they also have ounces so I'm excited to start using them. I did weigh in with them for the biggest loser challenge though.
Yea Kitty Cat!! Thanks now it's totally justified :-)
I can't sleep tonight, not sure why but luckily not feeling like food, maybe it's time to catch up on the DVR.
Josephine - I found Casbah Falafel!! So yummy and filling! Now of course I have the problem of the Clash banging around my head: Rockin the casbah Rock the casbah The shareef dont like it, okay I digress now.
Welcome Ashmomma!
Going to in the am, then walking the dogs then a long day out in the sun(hopefully) for the Steeplechase. Not really a horse racing kinda girl but my firm sponsers a place and I'm down for a party .
Okay too much fun with smilies I'm out. Peace!

All right, I'm gonna join this challenge today, although it looks like it might be almost over. I'm starting at 165.6, so losing 5 pounds would put me very close to the 150's, which I haven't seen since December 2006.
Congrats Sally and Heather on your losses this morning!
WELCOME Just Keep Swimming!

YAY down to 191.6 this morning! And when I came back from my 7 mile run and peeked at the scale, I was 188, even though I was drinking water the whole run! OMG was I so excited to see a number not in the 190s!!! Can't wait until I really get there! Yeeee Haw!
Start Weight: 195.6
Current Weight: 191.6 (-4) 1 pound to go!
Challenge Goal Weight: 190.6

Awesome, what brand of scale did you buy?! I hope we end up on the same Biggest Loser Challenge team!!! Can't wait for that one to start!
Down 4.5 pounds, .5 to go. I'm almost there!!! I know this is only the first week, and I'll slow down, but this is so motivating!
I went to lunch with my sister and had an appetizer as my meal, and didn't eat it all (I was going to eat the rest for dinner). I brought an entree home for my husbands dinner and when I got home I put it all on the counter. I was on the phone when he warmed up his dinner, so I wasn't paying attention, and don't you know, he ate the rest of MY food!!!
I didn't feel like figuring out what to make for dinner, so I skipped dinner! Lunch was kind of late in the day, so I never really felt hungry. I'm really trying to only eat when I'm really hungry, not just because it's "time" to eat.
Darby, I thought for sure you'd win it this morning! You are SO close!!! I can feel we'll be moving on to a new challenge any day now!! Congratulations on having such a fabulous week, so motivating!
