Yours are great suggestions, and I've always read that it's really good to vary your exercise anyway so your body doesn't get used to the same movements.

It is the same thing you are suggesting -- mixing it up gets the best results. So HIIT and steady-state and all that good stuff. It's all deliciously sweaty!

I'm sorry, sometimes the scale doesn't go down as smoothly as we'd like and it can get incredibly frustrating! But hang in there and stay on your plan, it will eventually go down!
Sounds like everyone is in frustration land these days with the bloody slow scales. Keep it up, what goes up must come down is my new motto. I haven't gotten any exercise in due to be sick but on the plus side nothing tastes that great so I haven't been eating too much while home either. Back to work today and I still just want to crawl back into bed.
Someone should copy past all of our numbers together (if they have time) and then we'll use that. That way it's all together. Anyway, down .6 ounces. Better than nothing, but i really wanted to see 147 today

I was actually down 1 pound this morning! Yeah for scale movement! I also had my official weigh in at work today (we are going a Biggest Loser challenge with the rival high school - I am a teacher) and on the nurses scale 200 was too heavy, but 150 plus 50 was too light! I guess I really am right on the line.
Start: 202.5
Current: 201.5 (going by my am home scale)
Goal: 198.5
