Everyone's doing so well on this thread (me, too, sort of). Inspired by Cerise on the 21-day challenge, I bought lots more berries for my all fruit smoothies. I need to stay at 1700 or below for 21 days now and have accordingly lowered my goal for exercise minutes to 330 and even PRECOUNTED a glass of soymilk for later tonight in case I flounder in the I'm-Too-Hungry-To-Care-And-I-Have-To-Work-Tomorrow mode in the p.m. ... will be back with report. Just wanted to say hi and thanks to this thread and the 21-er, I've lost 1.5 pounds, even though I floundered around all week.

2 large slices French toast (made with Challah bread) = so good I needed no syrup, etc.

Plan to have a serving of light ice cream maybe w/couple of pretzels

Exercise was yard work and watching yet another couple come dig out hostas and daylillies. Enough water, tea, Tab, etc.

Sunday: Cereal, coffee, 1 low carb yogurt and a salad, Spaghetti Sauce my homemade, with meat balls, 1 pork rib, 1/2 c. pasta, 1 brownie and 1 small root beer float with reg. soda!!!!!!!!!!! Not too good huh? Well I guess some days are just like this. Today I am going to be better!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats one nice thing you write it off and start again. I will try to eat better and stay away from those brownies and goodies I bought for the kids coming home from Seattle. We are getting a bad storm between 8-9 and they are due in at 9:50 so I hope there will be no problems. Can't wait to spend time with them it will go quickly I am sure.

Posting this here, too, sorry, I'm compulsive about the 21-day thing:

Hear ye, hear ye ... eeeny, meenie, chile beanie, the spirits are about to speak, er, ANNOUNCEMENT:

The esoteric and unnamed officials of this contest have notified Amarantha that the requirement of checking in twice a week in order to be eligible for the fab nonvirtual prize that will be mailed to the first person completing 21 consecutive days of their challenge be a tad taxing on the challengers. So everyone will be eligible for the prize (except Amarantha) who posts at all!!! Huzzah! That is all! Now a word from our sponsor ...

Sending encouraging wedding vibes to Skyfirefly!!!! Yowza! I think it's great that you're planning on really enjoying food at the event ... that's what life is all about (IMO) ... My only tip (since thou mentioneth it) is just to take a half sec at the end of the day or the next day and jot down a broad description of what you ate so you are staying in your 21-day challenge of journaling and that might help you feel on top of things ... journaling doesn't have to be a detailed count or anything, IMO ... it can be anything from doing spreadsheets (which I do but I'm obsessed) to making a checkmark on a piece of paper ... yowza, have fun, Skyfirefly!!!!

Yo, Eydie!!!!

We're all doing great, methinks!
