It would not be for everyone as basically you replace 1 serving of protein and 1 veggie serving daily with 1 HNS so if you are hungry on the other plans, this would not be for you . . . but so far I feel great and have added some Benifiber or Chrystal Light with fiber and so far that has taken care of the hunger and I don't feel like I'm eating all day long.

I think I may ask about this one - I am not ever hungry on this current plan and I always feel like this is an enormous amount of food because I'm not used to eating this much. In the past, I would just eat things high in calories and fat - hence the gain.

Congrats on your 2lbs!! This is awesome if you can get it by Friday!!

The menu was at each meal: 4 oz. protein from the chicken, turkey, bison, etc. group...and a serving from the cheese/egg group....one fat, and one optional fat (cream cheese, butter)....and veggies. No fruit, no bread/tortilla carbs.

I told her I was going to stick with my menu for a week or so, and if I'm still losing so slowly, I may switch to that.

Anyone done meta-protein? I had never even heard of it, on here or elsewhere.
I haven't heard of this one, but it sounds like just about what I do when I feel I need a bit more jump start. I'm assuming the HNS's are the same?

It requires 4 HNS (if over 200 lbs you can have 1 more).

I've only found 1 flavor with fiber. It is in a white box and the flavor is Natural Raspberry Peach. I found it at Walmart and at the grocery stores in my area (Hy-Vee and Fareway). Each packet has 10 cal and 3 g of fiber.

I hope you can find it, it really does taste good!

In our HyVee, I saw it over by the weight-loss products--the protein bars/drinks, etc.--rather than in the drink/pop/juice aisle. Check over by the health-food/weight-loss section.

Thanks! Time to make it 2 in a row. Whenever I deviate (by choice or not), I always find it so hard to get back in the swing of things. This board is definitely helping me.

SlimQuick update:

I didn't have a chance to weigh in yesterday, as I had a handyman come over and replace a bunch of doorknobs in my house. However, here's something I've noticed (**TMI warning**): the caffeine in the SlimQuick has affected my, ahem, regularity. It's even more effective than the fiber drinks. Within about 2 hours of my morning dose, I'm off to the bathroom to do my business.

I'm going to try to weigh in after work today. I'm starting my period today, too, so we'll see how this weigh in goes. I'm hoping the SlimQuick counteracts the PMS.

Down only one pound today. This is the slowest week I've had so far, but I was once on a five week plateau so I'm happy I lost this pound.

I also went to the grocery yesterday and new OP food in the house always motivates me to keep going.

I'm actually cleaning out my pantry this weekend. I've already brought some things to work to give to co-workers like Mac&Cheese, pasta, chocolate chip cookies and crackers. I'm going to take everything else to a local food bank. I'm going to keep a few of the healthier soups as a "just in case" type thing that I may need in a hurry or something but everything else is going to go! I threw out the Blueberry Eggo Waffles and 2 bags of french fries this weekend. Can't wait to be able to do that to things in my closet.. going to donate all the BIG clothes to Helping Hands.

Thank you Mariah.. I wil look again at another Walmart. We do not have the other two stores here in Florida that you mention. Flavor sounds yummy.

For fiber (to help me feel full all day), I use benefiber sticks in my HNS. One for a mid-morning snack and one in the afternoon...and I'm set.

If you can't find the crystal light, try adding the benefiber sticks. A serving is 3 sticks per day, so you can add those in with no issues.
