Weighed in this morning....not really any change from Tuesday. Actually, my center's Tanita was broken, so we are using a different scale that shows tenths of a pound...and I went from 168.8 to 169.4....so that's almost half a pound...but both times, my consultant called it 168. So I'm not sure if this replacement scale is not as accurate or what...but they didn't record a change.

Oh well....I'm committed too being 100% OP. We are going to Dallas this weekend and I'm thinking of how I will manage way from home and how I will stick to plan. The only meal I don't have control over is a catered meal Friday night. But if there isn't much I can eat, I won't eat it. We can always get me something afterwards that is OP and won't wreck me. So here is to my on plan weekend away from home!

Hi..
Take some bars and HNS with you.. I travel quite often, and that is what I do. That way you will keep OP. On catered meal, just try to stick to protein, salad, veggies if not loaded with sauce. and do the best you can in that category. When I am in that situation, I take a fat & carb blocker with the meal if you have them.
and just eat what you can that is as close to OP as possible..

One of my co-workers popped popcorn! And there are only 3 of us in this office - so it's not a huge office building. Oh the smell of popcorn.... yesterday it was cinnamon rolls... and now, popcorn. Oh how I wish I could eat a whole bag right now. I thanked my co-worker for her contribution to me staying OP as I grabbed my 1oz. cheese stick from the fridge for my mid-morning snack.

Hey Ladies!

I ran out of HNS on Monday.... so I went and picked some up this morning and weighed in. I lost another 2.5 pounds this week. I'm very pleased that I have been on MRC since March 19th and lost 8 pounds.

I tossed all my girl scout cookies over the weekend. No sense in spending this $$ and sabatoging myself. It's going to be even harder for me because I am a drinker. I stopped drinking to lose this weight. Opening Day is today and the Final Four this weekend. I'll be out watching sports with friends and drinking my HNS' instead of beer. It's going to be VERY weird, but I will do it.

Thank you for your support and suggestions thus far. I guess we start the April thread tomorrow :-)

WI today and I am so happy. When I weighed in Monday, I had gained 2.5 pounds...kinda. Not what my scales reflected Monday morning at home, but I did eat breakfast. You know how that goes. Anyway, I lost those 2.5 pounds at today's WI and I'm back to where I was last Thursday before I went on my trip. The trip that was filled with pizza & pasta (rehearsal dinner), cheeseburger sliders & mashed potato bar, cake & cupcakes (wedding), and cheeseburger & fries (after-party). I can't believe it didn't do more damage, but I did take my fat & carb blockers, so I know that helped.

Back on track!

Exclamation re-enrollment

RE-ENROLLMENT SPECIAL ENDING TODAY!

FYI--
My center's manager called me today to let me know that they have a 2-day re-enrollment special going that ends today. I went ahead and re-enrolled for 10 more weeks over the phone, since I can't make it in until Saturday.

She told me that they only received the email from corporate yesterday, and she's been calling regular clients today because not that many people weigh in on Tuesdays/Wednesdays.

So, if you know you're definitely going to add weeks to your program--even if you don't need them for a while--buy them now!
10 weeks = $79
17 weeks - $99 (Instead of $129)

If I don't lose these last 10 or so pounds in the next 10 weeks, I'm giving up and stabilizing.

Weighed in today and stayed the same. The consultant was pushing me to start stabilization again. I looked over the paperwork and took it with me. I think I will wait until monday and see where I am weight wise.

Struggling Nicole- why are they pushing you? Is your BMI healthy? Is your fat % good? I am 5'3'' and they told me I could stabilize anywhere from 140-125. I am planning on 140 for now. I'm sure I would love to be 125...but it seems so far away! ha!

However, if you aren't happy, keep losing. You will only sabatage your stabilization if you aren't 100% in it.

I was told today that they expect you to continue to loose around 5 lbs during stabilization if you stick to it 100%. They don't want me to be below the 127 at all. According to my TANITA my healthy range is 126-140ish. I understand where they are coming from, but I would like a little wiggle room. I know my weight will go up and down when I start adding foods back in.

I took the paperwork and I will start it as soon as it is ready. Hubby comes home this weekend and we are working on trying to get my son into the Mayo clinic. Things are just a little crazy around here and I'm not ready to start making changes yet.

YEAH on the weight loss Yeah, I'm a drinker too, and it's my number one, biggest problem with the diet. I can stay OP forever, until I have that drink. Then I just start shoveling food. Trying.....

One thing I do in situations like that is promise myself a different, healthier reward if I can resist giving in. So, for example, you can tell yourself "Instead of eating a donut, I will let myself have __________." It can be a cheesestick for a snack, or maybe an extra ounce of protein at a meal, or maybe even an extra HNS. I realize that's still going off plan, but it's better than the donut (or whatever is tempting us that we're likely to give in on), and not going to hurt us that badly. Or, you can reward yourself with non-food items, like a fresh bouquet of flowers, or a new bottle of nail polish, or even just telling hubby to do some chore that you hate doing because you deserve it for resisting and sticking to the diet. This one only works sometimes, but it makes him feel proud of me and guilty enough at the same time that he'll do it.
Absolutely love this idea of extra protein .. I did buy myself some candle stuff from PartyLite to celebrate my 20lbs. I'm holding out for 25 before I find new pants & a shirt.

I know.. I'm a social drinker too! It's been really funny the past 4 or 5 outings that I've brought my mug and just been sipping through it all night. One friend finally asked, "Are you not drinking anymore?" I say yes, but realistically I'm waiting until goal weight to down a margarita .. with my luck it will taste gross .. just like half the things I've been without this past 40+ days.

Unhappy Disappointed

Went for WI this afternoon and actually gained a pound. I was really hoping to sign the 10lb board But I had an ingrown toenail removed yesterday and have been taking vicodin for the pain. So the consultant stated it's probably water retention. And on top of that, I'm upset because I can't exercise until Monday. I can't even walk because.. well, my toe really hurts and I can't put a shoe on. I hoping my toe will feel better by Saturday so I can at least do some things with the Wii Fit. Anyway, keeping my chin up but if I don't lose the next time, I'm going to be really upset!

Down three lbs. since last Friday. Yeah me!!!! I also couldn't even come close to finishing my lunch today. I have no idea what's up with that. I can always eat :-)

I started back on MRC-6 about two weeks ago and the All Day Weight Loss starting today. I have always thought they didn't do much for me, but I am starting to realize my appetite is better and more controllable that when I've tried to do without them. Hmmmm....
