Welcome back LMickley. The soups I do not use, and the puddiings you should be able to buy from Diet Direct. I purchase their HSN, clear and powder from Diet Direct, their variety bars and their variety hot cocoa.
I think the scale is wrong. There is no way I lost weight through Christmas. That has NEVER happened before haha. I might be down 3 pounds!! Still very hard to believe.

Congrats on the 3 lb loss. I know you had to have worked hard to do that during the holidays!

The crust didn't hold together that well on the cheesecake for me, either, Patzi. However, I only enjoyed the first couple of bites of the cheesecake. It was too dense and rich for me to enjoy eating the rest of it, so I don't make it anymore.
Hteep, I usually do either scrambled eggs and toast or a shake or bar for breakfast. That way I'm not eating eggs every. single. day. It helps me to mix it up a little.
I dragged myself to the gym today and ran on the elliptical for about 30mins. Tomorrow is yoga, and then I'll weigh in again on Tuesday. I last weighed in on Wednesday, but I want to give myself as many "recovery" days as possible after the holiday weekend. Also, I'm leaving with the in-laws on Wednesday to go up to their cabin until New Year's Day (my birthday!!), so I want to weigh in right before we leave.
I'm really hoping I at least stayed the same--didn't gain any additional--over the weekend, though I'm especially hoping for a drop (part of the reason I"ve stepped up the exercise a little) so I can possibly make 40lbs in time for my birthday.
Good luck to all who are weighing in on Monday--you are the brave ones!
Way to go teacherlady!! Sounds like you have a plan, lady! As always, I am inspired by you and your persistence. Happy early Birthday and I hope you make your goal by then
Uh oh! The high living of the last two weeks has netted me 3.5 pounds. Oh well, it could have been much worse. My sweet companion Tessa, a lab mix, of the past 11 years, was killed on the road last Thursday morning. That was pretty tough. I wouldn't have missed all of the holiday treats even if my dog hadn't died, so I'm not sure whether my eating was emotional or just pure hedonism. In any event, I went to the center this morning and faced the music. I had totally let the program go - stopped being diligent about the water and the HNS and the supplements, in other words, all of it! Time to get back into the swing of things. While I was out this morning, my DH was at home making a batch of homemade bread and a batch of pecan pralines. It is a good thing my brother, his wife, and his three teenagers are in town for the week!
You people are my accountability partners in this journey - this is me checking in and staying honest. I can't say I plan to stick to program without any side trips this week either, as we are still on vacation, but next week when I return to teaching school it will be much easier. I will take everyone's advice and take it one meal at a time. I can at least keep it from getting any worse!
I am so sorry to hear about your doggie....that is the absolute worst thing!!! And for whatever reason, I find that mourning is much crazier after an animal's death than even a human's. I hope you are heeling and finding comfort in memories of your companion!
I do love your statement: "so I'm not sure whether my eating was emotional or just pure hedonism" - haha!!! I have felt that way this week too, pure hedonism!! Thank you for sharing your heart and putting yourself out there...I too, need to do this and "shed" my skin of deceit (and pounds that I have surely gained)! Best of luck getting back into the swing of it!!

Greetings MRC-ers!! Glad to hear that most of you have "survived" the holidays so far. I am with ladystarrider - completely off plan and I feel like CRAP!!!
I'm still at my in-laws, leaving today and then I meet up with family this weekend for 4 nights (will be staying in a hotel, should be interesting). I allowed myself to go off plan for a majority of the meals over Christmas but I have found that I feel terrible and have no energy to make the meals that I should have, etc, etc. As well, I am sick as a dog. Terrible sinus infection - ruined yesterday and today for me (so far). I'm loaded up on meds and they don't fare well in my stomach alongside Cortitrim (which I just started last week), fat/carb blockers, etc. I am pushing water again which was greatly needed.
At any rate, will be getting back on the wagon big time for the rest of this week and have a couple of planned meals this weekend that will require a little fat/carb blocking action (Mellow Mushroom - taking the sisters for their bdays). But, on the positive note, just bought some training sessions with a local spin studio - woohoo!!! Let's do this 2011 - I will OWN you!! lol. Good luck to you all
I felt terrible the few times I went off plan this holiday, too. Usually it doesn't bother me, but I had a terrible stomachache one night (from too much sugar/sweets, I"m sure), and wild dreams/nightmares another night.
I struggled in yoga yesterday--to keep from passing gas during class. The "theme" for the class last night was "constipation," because the instructor figured we were all messed up from feasting all weekend. So, most of our poses/positioning was based around postures that were supposed to help the GI tract. Mostly it just made me need to fart, lol.
Well, taking the dogs to the vet, getting my nails done (yay, giftcards!), and then weighing in today. I'll check back in later!
There is a special going at MRC this week only, 10 weeks for $79.00,
and another special for a certain amt. of weeks for $99.00,but not sure the number of weeks.
I know I will not meet my goal, which is 7 pounds by Jan.14th,so I bought the 10 weeks. I was told if I do not need the full 10 weeks, or if I do meet my goal, they will credit me products for that amt. It takes some of the pressure off. I have 8 more pounds to go to meet goal.
Congratulations to all that lost and for those that did not, hang in there, today is another day and a new beginning, you will do fine.
Have a nice day, y'all. Freezing here in Florida. 27 degrees this morning.

Hi, Patzi. For the special do they require you to buy a bottle of supplement as well? Last time I reenrolled, I had to buy either MRC-6, Cortitrim, or another supplement which put the total at about 150 or so. I am in FL as well and it is freezing here. What part of FL are you in. I live in the Panhandle.

I guess that's one way to keep the classroom warm! LOL!
