Crazy, I haven't thought of it that way. Thanks for the congrats everyone.

I'm wondering the same thing about downsize in clothing, ash8090, pants namely. My pants fit... they're baggy and it seems my bum is constantly playing peekaboo, but I don't think its that huge of a change to go looking for smaller pants yet.

Happy March!

I've been on plan about 2 weeks and down 6 lbs. I did great my first week and spent the entire second week traveling, which was tough. But I took all my supplies and ate as close to plan as possible. Last week I learned, it's not enough to buy a green salad with chicken on top because you get like 2-3 oz chicken and that's a far cry from 6, so now I know to order a grilled chicken sandwich, no bread!

I had hoped to lose more my second week while the momentum was going, but travel makes that really really hard. I'm fully back into my routine now this week and it's nice to feel on track. I hope to beat 3 lbs/week average this month.

Default Newbie here :)

Hi All,

I just joined MRC Feb 22nd and I've been lurking on this forum for days soaking up the wisdom and insider knowledge you all have to offer. I lost 5 lbs during pre-conditioning and I'm on day 1 of the 1-4 MetaSlim. I'm feeling great so far. I am very grateful for the advise someone here gave about blending the cottage cheese to make it like a creamy dressing for the salad. I mixed it with the allowed olive oil, apple cider vinegar, mrs. dash, dill, basil, and chives. It was pretty darn good

I was a little concerned that the people at my center (and all centers, apparently) have some different approaches. But I am VERY encouraged, that in reading all of your posts, everyone is having success if they stick with it and follow everything OP. It appears that the variances we see don't seem to matter much.

I'm taking phentratrim, guggul, the internal cleanser, and my own vitamins and flax. Overall, I'm feeling good, but my gut does feel a little backed up. You'd think with all this salad I'd be movin' just fine... I think I'm going to mix some psyllium with an HSN to help.

I look forward to have you all for support during this journey!

Thank you Deb, I appreciate your support. I am not going back there period! From now on I decided to only go to steak houses where I can get a steak prepared without all the extra. You are right, I am going to do this. Even though I haven't lost as fast as I want to; at least I am losing Good luck in your journey as well

Now that's what I'm talking about Teresa! If I could maintain an 8 - 10 post MRC it would be a record for me and one I'd like to break. Great job!

Just thought I would mention when I was on the green menu I would order a salad w/ extra chicken...to get closer to 6 oz.

I think you have to decide the best move for your situation. I know that I can probably do it alone, but I like going into the center as it helps me to stay on track. Do what you feel is best for you, but remember to the post to share your victories and the not so good moments as well. I wish you all luck which ever way you chose to go. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Thanks! I needed the boost ... having a down night!! I feel so sad!!

Take Magnesium, it WILL help!!! It's a natural laxative and your body doesn't depend on it!!

I HAD to ask to be measured, this was only the 2nd time they've measured me since the beginning of November?? Have to ask for ribbons, for the rocks, etc. It seems the ONLY thing they remember to ask is if I need protein drinks!!
I've been faithfully OP since December 27th and only go in once a week to get weighted in. I know I can do this program solo and the help from this forum. I'm just going to start getting my protein drinks from Direct Buy.
I'm glad I joined the program to get the basics, but truly wander was it worth all that money?? Does anyone else feel this way??

Why on earth would they ask you to resign???? When I hadn't reached my goal by the end of the 4 months, they asked me to re-up (for $99) for 3 months. I still haven't lost all the weight they wanted me to, so I might re-up again. I am losing the weight, I think this is a good lifestyle change that I can keep to, and I want to do the maintenance at MRC so I won't gain back the weight. Try another round and see if you do better.

sounds like the word "resign" and "re-up" is the same thing == signing up again and continuing on the program.

i just had cake, it was gooooooood. But my stomach hurts.

I HAVE to stop testing the waters, i feel like the last few days i am in a 'honeymoon' phase. So over the top eating ( this cake was the first bad thing, but just bigger portions for the rest).

Just having a hard time getting back in the mindset.

I just re-signed today. I am still 7lbs from goal but they want me to take off 13lbs of fat. They said the body fat % is still too high. So I did the deed and if I can't do this in 10 weeks AGAIN, I give up.. I went to a Monkey on your Back class they offered today. It was pretty good. Since my monkey is sweets, and this is what has been keeping me from getting to where I need to be.. So off I go again.. Hopefully I will do it this time.. Good luck to all of us.. We can do it..

Cheers!

Can you expand on the topics that were talked about in the class?
