I got my new George Foreman at Target. It was $70. It has removable plates that can go in the dishwasher and you can set the cooking temperature and a timer on the grill. I have been using it almost every day since I got it about a month ago.

Happy New Year!! and what a year this is going to be!! I can't wait to look amazing in my wedding gown in May!! I have my 2 WI tomorrow and my 1st food class. I am certain that I have lost weight so I am very excited. :carrot:

I suck! We were snowed in (like, literally could not leave the house) for 12 days, we ran out of anything resembling healthy food by day 4 of the 12, we lost power on and off for a couple of days...ARGH!!! Needless to say, between that and Christmas, I ended up waaaaay off plan, and in typical me fashion one day off lead into 1 week off and I'm sooooooo off track now that I don't even know what to do. I'm pissed at myself and embarrassed about going back to my center to confess my sins. I don't know which plan to go back to tomorrow, and I'm JUST SO MAD AT MYSELF!!! Dieting usually doesn't get hard for me until a couple of months in. *big sigh* I know I need to weigh myself, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Hang in there! We all do things we are not proud of but jump back into it and you will get back on track! I didn't have the best break, came home jumped back into it and then last night it all went downhill! But there is always tomorrow! You can do this and I bet there are a lot more people in your shoes than you think!

o.k. i am a little mad at myself. i have not had anything sweet to eat in over a month...at work yesterday, someone brought icecream cake...i had some. why? why? why did i do this, i was soooo focused. my normal thing would of been to stop by mcdonalds on the way home...since i blew it anyway (the thought crossed my mind)..but i didn't..i did the u-turn and got right back on plan...this is the only thing i was proud of....just wanted to share that. Monday the kids go back to school and i hope to start really excercing...since my weight is coming off soooo slow...maybe excercise will kick it up a notch.

Well I went in to WI today and got back to where I was before this Christmas chaos started! So not it's time to really re-focas and get it back into gear!

I am soooooooooooooooo HAPPY!! I went to my 1st food class and did my 1 week weigh in. I have lost 4.5 lbs in my 1st week. I start my 1st 4 day menu on Monday.. they gave me a yellow one. I told my entire class about this site and I hope they all join us here. I have learned so much for all of you already!

you can't be too mad at yourself if you ran out of food and getting snowed in. you did have to eat something. Just get right back on track now and it will all be fine!! Happy Healthy New Year!!!!!

Woohoo!!! 4.5 lbs. during preconditioning is awesome! I bet you'll really start dropping when you start on Monday!

Today is a new day/new year!! Don't beat yourself up about the holiday stuff! When I went to weigh in after Christmas, I told my consultant that I ate a few things on Christmas day but then got right back on the next day. She asked me to compare what I ate this year to last year's Christmas. I said there was no comparison. I ate all the sweets I could from Thanksgiving to Christmas last year. She smiled and said that is the important thing. We're making better choices this year. :)

Great job! That is an awesome start! Its always a bonus to have a great start because it keeps you motivated and makes you realize you made a great decision.

I bought the book 100 days of weightloss and I can tell with just reading Day One this afternoon that THIS is definately the book for me!

I went to WI today, because my center was having a promotion for today only. If you maintained from the last time you went in you got an extra week and if you lost you got 2 extra weeks for free. Of course...I maintained. I can't complain though, because I lost four pounds between Monday and Wednesday.

I started lifting weights this week and I am really sore. They told me at the center that this will also cause water retention.

I also did my TANITA today. I lost 6 pounds of fat in the last month. That always astounds me. As of today I have lost a total of 54-1/2 inches and 55 pounds.
