Hi everyone I have notice several posts on the liquid minerals. And why we should take them.
Eventually you will develope leg cramps and wonder why. Well what liquid minerals do is replace the minerals your body loses drinking so much water. Which you do need water to remove the fat we lose.
I found out that every thing we take on MRC works together to give us maxium results if we follow the program completely.
While I was on the reducing phase I took
3 flax, 2 Mrc6, 2 cortitrim,2 B6, 2 MSM breakfast and lunch
at 10 and 2 I took MRC appetite control
3 fax 2mrc, 2 cortitim, 2msm at dinner 4 of the protien drinks during the day
At night I took Internal cleanser
at bedtime I took my liquid minreals so I wouldn't wake up with sever cramps in my legs. I never experince this energy pickup the claimed it gave you. I buy my liquid minreals at Sams.
I only take my mult vitamin and calcium and flax and msm now that I am on Maintaince.
When I started I thought man its going to take forever for me to lose down to my goal weight but each time I weighed in I would lose 1 to 2 lbsa week that kept me going. One thing I learned is never give up it will come off. Sometimes I wouldn't lose and get upset because I was following the program completely but then the next week I would lose and I would be that more determine to lose my weight. It sure is a ggood feeling to be able to walk into a store and buy close in Misses size instead of plus sizes. Just wanted to share this. Melanie:)

Thanks for this great information on how you worked your supplements and vitamins. I'm struggling a little with what too take as I'm on blood thinners. So many things can affect that. Anyone have any advice if you're taking blood thinners?

losingforhealth 09-02-2008 11:00 AM

watch the MRC-6 you are not suppose to take it if you are on Blood thinners.
I have a list of all of the supplements and what is in them. I had to have them because I had a stroke in 2000 and my Dr requested that he had to look at everything I took.
Cortitrim is safe also I think you might could try seathin you buy that at GNC. Darren told us about it. be sure to read the label and make sure you can take it with the blood thinner the only one I know of from all of the infro I have is the MRC-6. that you can't take.
I never got to take the all day weight loss or the enhancer. Because of my high Blood pressure. I have to take Seizure medicines and I really had to watch what I could take. I never had seizures until I had my stroke I was only 44 years old when I had it. I was lucky

Thanks so much for sharing that info, I had just emailed my center to see if taking the herbs at certain times during the day would be more beneficial.

Oh, dear! Taco Bueno does make life difficult, doesn't it? I grew up with them, but thankfully we don't have 'em here. Do you have a Rosa's? I get my mexican fix with the chicken fiesta salad , hold the sour cream & guacamole, and top with their medio salsa. I've been eating this 1-2 times a week all summer, and it has not slowed my weight loss down. You have to be careful, though, because some servers REALLY want to give you the chicken fajita salad, and it isn't on plan. Sometimes if I'm feeling really hungry, I'll ask for a second portion of chicken. (Also, if you show your student ID, it's 10% off, but I don't think they advertise that!)

Also sodas...you shouldn't have regular or diet sodas, but if you absolutely MUST, Coke Zero is the least bad of the bunch because it has no sugar and much less sodium than a diet soda. However, HEB carries Diet Hansen's sodas, and I really like the peach, strawberry kiwi, and black cherry. They don't have any sugar, sodium or caffeine, and you still get the pizzazz of flavored carbonated water. I also like the Sam's Choice flavored waters at Wal-Mart, though occasionally I'll get one that's flat. Not so crazy about that.

That said, great job on pre-conditioning! You'll do great with the menus!

mmmmm...We do not have a Rosa's but it sounds great! I'm actually doing OK without the cokes (notice I didn't say great, but ok:() I'm not going to drink one but that doesn't mean I don't want it! I think eventually it will go away once I stop craving caffeine and sugar! We don't have HEB either (go figure) but I've heard that the Coke Zero and Sprite Zero are okay as well as Diet Rite. Hope you're having a great day! Getting any of Gustav's rain?

I try to weigh in twice a week. I am pretty good about Tues/Fri. But I cannot WI today and it is probably a good thing. After my rolling down the hill episode, I am up 1.5. Not as bad as it could have been, but still no need to go have the mean counselor chastise me. I did enough of that to myself! LOL

Good luck! Each day gets a little bit better.:carrot:

Thanks Shannon! I think I'll go ahead and go WI on Thursday and pic up my new menu (which I should start on Saturday).....then maybe I could weigh on Saturday to get 2 in but it just seems like not very much time....I guess because this is such a short week for me. But I want to make sure and follow guidelines in case I'm not at goal at the end of my time period, kwim?

I weigh in twice a week, Monday and Thursday. It is kind of disappointing, because you don't see huge drops in weight when you go that often. On the other hand, it definitely provides good accountability. I also have tried to go on those days even if I had an off plan day the day before.

Hey yall I been MIA, busy busy weekend, I see all the great weight loss...woohoo to everyone

Went to WI and down 1.5pounds

So I am thinking my slow weight loss was the bar's I would eat 1 bar 3 times a week. I cut them out last week on Monday and by Friday I was down 1 pound and I am 1.5 as of today. The Lady's at the center said some people do fine on them and others don't. So I guess I am in the don't

SassyTexan 09-02-2008 02:04 PM

I'm on blood thinners, too. I don't take the MRC-6. And I've been losing at a steady rate so don't let that deter you! That's the only thing that I cannot take. I take: All Day Weight loss, flax, multi vitamin, liquid minerals, B6,MSM, CoQ10.

Thanks Finz. I wanted to add the MSM for sure but kept finding contradictory information on it. Glad to hear what's working for you.

Hi ladies! WI today and am down another 1.5! I keep having to remind myself I am WI twice a week so the loss will seem like less than when I did it before and only WI once a week...but it is really the same!
