It's like a Brahm's without the ice cream, if I remember correctly. The restaurant is named for the runza sandwich, which every life-long Nebraskan's grandmother seems to have the perfect recipe for. Here's the amazing part: you get this perfectly fluffy loaf/bun filled with a yummy, cheesy meat mixture! One of the great mysteries for those of us who don't have a Nebraskan grandmother is how they get the meat mixture in the middle--I remember the bun as being near perfect. This used to keep me awake at night.

THAT - sounds absolutely sinful (and delicious) We don't even have Brahms here, but I do know of it.

I made it tonight too!!! Did you use a blender? I have a food processor but I didn't feel like getting it out of storage so I just used my blender, it still turned out good but less chunky then I would like. I made steak and cut the steak into strips to eat with the tortilla and salsa, kinda like a steak fajita, yum yum!!

I could have eaten 4 ounces of just the salsa but limited myself to just 2 ounces and choked down 2 ounces of frozen green beans lol.

Snfrgrl - you look great, thanks for sharing the pics!

Congrats on everyone's weight losses, I love hearing about them, you all help me to stay on track!!!!

I leave for Alaska in one week - I'm super nervous about gaining weight while I'm over there. I'll be eating out a lot, but also my mom and my dad will be cooking for me, and they don't exactly cook very healthy, especially my dad. The center said to come in right before I leave and they will give me some tips on what to do while I'm there, and I've gotten a lot of tips from you guys.

Oh, how this brings back memories "mini me". It seems like after I signed the 120 lb board, the weight just fell off. You are the incredible shinking woman! Congrats, your inner strength is awe-inspiring.
Hope to see less of you at one of the classes this week.
BTW, I think I'm running out of that fat burning water they serve us at the Greeley center.

Sharon, Great Job, you look fabulous!!!

Denise - your disappearing, congratulations......

Okay I have something odd going on here. On Thursday my home scale was reading 156 morning WI, I had a steady loss up until Friday WI at the center where I suddenly shot back up to 160, I noticed it first at my morning home WI when it was 158, it's now 161. I started friday upping my B6 thinking I was retaining water for some reason but it continued to rise. Can B6 cause you to ever retain water rather then flush. I can tell it's water the way I ache when I wake up and my rings are fitting snug. It is not TOM, what's wrong, I do not use salt and only cook low sodium foods. Bland yes but don't want the water weight. My water intake has been 8-10 a day.

Greeley Folks - Please send water

Have a great OP day everyone.

Most definitely you can see the difference! You look great!! And you know I'm loving the background in the pic on the left (& your daughter is lovely!) - and your husband's (I'm assuming it's your husband) hat looks VERY familiar! I am both excited AND nervous about the upcoming season - don't much like going into it rated SO high!

WOW Sharon ..... love your pics!!! What a change, I'm so happy for you!!

Both dietdirect and bariatricchoice (the same company I believe) have the powdered shakes on sale this week for 11.95 per box (regularly 25 a box I think) While I like them, I don't use them anymore -- something about the 23 carbs slowed me down instead of helped. I asked the center about that (when I was using theirs), they didn't seem to think it was an issue, but I still do.

Happy Monday ... my camping weekend set me back 2 pounds (boo hiss). I did great OP during the day, but the night around the campfire -- not so much. Back on since last night, feeling better.
