Miss D

That hypnosis thingy just might work, I used to date a fella a few years ago that needed viagra (amazing stuff!! ) Anyway, I had gotten an email from him a while back and he told me that he tried the hypnosis for his "situation" and he hasnt needed a little blue pill in over a year!! So.......you just never know, it might help you lose weight, might make you something else But why not give it a try! Let us know how it works for you!

Im also sure your situation has alot to do with your eating......so, make up your mind to do it for yourself and make yourself happy, and each day will be easier and easier!! Im here if you need a shoulder

As a former Psych major, I think hypnosis is facinating. It's not a miracle, you won't wake up on Thursday morning 110 lbs, but it might help change some behaviors that contribute to weight issues.

Well the scales didn't say what I wanted them to say. They say I'm 2lbs heavier then my scales tell me. I know that isn't that bad, but it's still a bummer. I am thinking about getting the atkins book, I see all of you loosing a lot and I don't know what I'm doing wrong! Maybe if I read the book I can get some ideas, I don't know.

Anyway, you all have a great evening!

I did a full hour of swimming, deep water jogging and weight training in the pool today. I'm gradually building up my stamina for swimming lengths. I hope one day to be able to move from the walking lane to the slow lengths lane.
I came home ready to eat the legs off the table, but decided they had too many carbs and might break my dentures, so settled for bacon and eggs.
Sorry to hear we have some sickies here. Hope you all are feeling much better soon. Just watching CNN makes me feel sick. I just never know who to believe.

Bella, it's okay if the scale weighs 2 pounds lighter at home. I can't look at someone and say they've lost 2 pounds, but I can look at someone and say, "Hey, you've lost weight!" As long as it's consistent every time you get on it, it doesn't jump up and down 5 pounds, etc. then I think it's okay. Doc's offices don't get their scales calibrated very regularly, so it may be that HIS is wrong!
