I'm still a ways to go but at the 50% mark I started messing around with different looks. The thinner I get, the closer I get to having straight across bangs (because my face is thinner), bolder colors and going back to wearing fun clothes. I'm having more fun with makeup too... I have a school function in a few weeks and I'm wearing a 'pinup' look about which I am super excited!

The slimmer I get the more I want to treat myself to new makeup, clothes, manicures, etc. But I suppose that's just me wanting to take better care of myself. I do have a tattoo and piercing planned (something I wouldn't have the guts to do 20 pounds ago)

I haven't changed my hair since "weight loss" - but AGING is what makes me want a change.

Such as....bangs to cover up forehead wrinkles or help hide crows feet (cause I can't afford botox, LOL)

However, I like my hair WITHOUT bangs (easier to maintain) so I haven't had bangs in quite a few years.

I prefer my hair long (shoulder length to bra-strap length) because I associate long hair with femininity. But I wore my hair short all thru college - and that was during the big-hair 80's trend... meh.

BUT - now that I've lost some weight & my face is not so "moonpie" shaped anymore, I do wear it pulled back more often. And some people seem to think that a ponytail (or braids) has a "youthful" appearance. I just know what works for me, and I drive a convertible so ponies & braids are good convertible hair.

I'm hiding behind my glasses less these days and actually started putting makeup on again when I go out. And as for hair, I just don't know yet. I liked "hiding" behind my hair when I was a teenager, which infuriated my mom. She'd make me cut it short and I hated it, since I felt so defenseless and exposed. I doubt I'd feel the same way once I reach a lower weight, but I think I've been rebelling ever since by letting my hair grow much longer. It's down to my waist right now, but needs a good trimming, maybe 6" or so. Not sure if I'll ever be ready to have short hair again.

I think my clothes will change gradually as I'm able to find more options as I get smaller. I'm still stuck in plus sizes and my stomach seems to be my central feature, so I'm not fond of clothes that cling to that area, which seems to be about everything.

Yes! I'm currently growing out my hair, but by the time I'm done with the weight loss I'll probably be bored of it and go for something a little more daring

My clothing style will change a lot - I tend to stick to jeans and t-shirts at the moment as I feel too fat to wear the clothes I truly love. I actually adore fashion, but no one would ever know it from looking at my everyday clothes. I can't wait until I feel like I can wear the things I really want to!

For style: I'm pretty low maintenance and I don't think that will change. I'll just be able to wear slightly hotter clothes since I'll be able to fit in more sizes. Yay! I'm pretty minimalist and classic with shots of radness.

For hair: I am the kind of person who will get sick of their hair and go to the bathroom and chop it off myself, so I have an obligation to change it up once in a while so I don't look like a weed wacker attacked my head. So who knows what it will be like when I lose more weight.

PS right now my hairs like a wonky asymmetrical style, like longer on one side of my head than the other. I kind of want straight across bangs or maybe asymmetrical bangs to go with the cut, not sure if that would be super weird looking? Hair grows back though!

Most definitely! At my highest weight I put almost no effort into my appearance. I just wore all black and baggy clothes to cover my body.

As I've lost, I've gained a lot of confidence and now know about how bras are supposed to fit properly too. That radically changed my wardrobe because it made clothes shopping so much easier! Also, I found stores that catered to busty women so for once I could buy clothes that fit me well.

I don't have a very big wardrobe yet being that I'm still not quite a goal but I've added a lot more color to my wardrobe and now wear well-fitting tops, which has changed the way I look quite a bit. I also love dresses now and have started to add a few to my collection.

I am already thinking of using skirts and dresses again, as well as shorts :3 My promise to my boyfriend is that when he arrives in December, I will be waiting for him at the airport in a beautiful blue summer dress =^.^=

Regarding hair, I don't plan to dye it, seeing as how I have been trying to get rid of the horrible red dye I used for about 18 months a few years ago (and now, after other 18 months, I am mostly a brunette again, with only a few streaks of red hair in the back of my head). I might let it longer and tie it, but I am not sure. Let's see how longer hair looks on me when I am thinner ^^

I've been growing my hair for the past 15 years and there is no way I am getting it cut! I'm still dyeing it bright red, but I've started to think I might try dip-dyeing the last few inches in a black temporary dye (like Manic Panic) to see how it looks. I've always wanted to dye it a really outrageous color, like hot pink, but never had the nerve!

I'm growing my hair out, which already just past my shoulders, but I want it a little longer. I'm also wearing different things- like ankle boots with heels for example! I just ordered these: http://www.shoecarnival.com/shoe/Wom...ump&navCount=0

I've already started wearing different clothes. Gone from jeans and sweaters to dresses and tights. Though, I'm going to wait until I reach my goalweight before I splurge on a new wardrobe.

In definitely planning a trip to the salon once I reach the 200 mark! ( I'm 244 today!)
I went to the salon last year to have the black lifted out and she fried my hair I'm still pulling chunks of hair out needless to say I'm back to black colored hair ad that's where in staying ! As for clothing I figure with winter coming and being a sahm I bought lots of stretchy clothes on clearance racks) sincd im not willing to spend a fortune on clothes that I hope to only be in for winter season ! Lol

I go back & forth with my husband on this . I DO NOT plan on buying anything till I reach my goal (maybe some undies). I think it's a waste of $$ & winter is coming so my nice matching sweats will have to do . I wear hospital scrub uniforms so that won't be hard not to shop. I do want to wear bra's & panties in matched set's when i reach my goal. I plan on wearing bright bolder colors less black. When I do reach goal LL BEAN will profit big time I'm a casual gal. As far as my hair it is stick straight & short so not much you can do with it. If i were to perm it I look like a poodle after a while.
