    I did the exact same thing!!

    Never intended to change my style but as everything changed... everything changed. The way I think, the way I look, the way I dress, the way I feel, the way I talk, the way I live.

    For me losing weight was part of getting my whole life together. Now I wear short dresses (I don't even really have pants lol) in bright colors, high heels, colorful makeup and jewelry, fancy nail designs, hair shorter, blonder, mostly curled but always styled nicely.

    Compared to before. Fat, black clothes, no heels, makeup, nails, jewelry or anything, hair butt long always just kinda tied up in a knot, etc. Trying to hide.

  • You know, I've been wondering about this lately. I am an "alternachick" - I love piercings, tattoos, funky clothes, vintage and tomboyish stuff. But for some reason I can't imagine myself wearing most of these things as a heavier person. That's not meant to insult anyone who does - it's just that I personally wouldn't feel comfortable doing it while heavy. When I reach goal I plan on intensifying my alternative style. For example, I've always wanted a tattoo on my upper arm but want to tone up before getting it. I also am working to grow my hair out really long. I can't give up hair color...maybe the confidence gained from weight loss will inspire me to try bolder colors.
