I found a mix in my pantry that needs to be used up. It makes 6 little lava cakes. I'm like you, Dagmar, too cheap to just throw it away. Each serving has probably 600 calories. They need to be baked in my glass pyrex ramekins. Is it safe to freeze pyrex glass as long as you thaw it slowly?? I know DH will eat them, but I would have to eat half of one at a time, if that.
What kind of chocolate do you have, Dagmar? I'm getting picky in my old age. A Hershey's bar just doesn't cut it any more.
This year is almost done. I have had some vertigo for the past two days. It seems mostly better today.
I have handmade Belgian chocolate from "The Belgian Chocolate Shop" Alice. It's a tiny shop which has been run by the same woman (her husband was originally the chocolatier but he unfortunately passed away 3 years ago) for close to 30 years. When she retires I stop eating chocolate.
I don't particularly care for chocolate, but a good Belgian chocolate is an exception! Oh, and a few dark chocolate chips here and there don't hurt anything.
