Lea Ann - The book doesn't say no sauce in it, and it does say "no bacon" and no this and no that for everything else. I asked the COD regional manager when she was in and she gave me her blessing. I told her you don't need dressing on the salad since it has the glaze and she said go for it. A few weeks later I told them I was waiting for the program modification cutting it out because it tasted so good.

That's true--I didn't need the dressing--I put some in the lid to dip sometimes for variety--you are so smart! I figured since I liked it, it would be a no-no--haha. DH and I are trying hard to get back in gear--still can't get 100% though--something's wrong with my brain! Anyway--every little bit helps I guess. Thanks for the info. Is the Asian salad in the book?

That's exactly what I told the COD!

The asian salad is in the new book. It's a P,V,V. Sometimes if I need a fat I'll add in the almonds, but with the glaze I don't need dressing. I cut up the chicken in pieces and then put the lid back on and shake it all up so the glaze gets all over everything.

Cassi & Lea Ann - Is the new cookbook much better then the old one that's in a binder? A co-worker of mine gave me hers when she heard me looking to buy one. I don't quite care for it, maybe for lack of pictures. Does the new one have pictures in it? Are the receipes easy to make? I'm no cook. Give me plaine lettus and grilled chicken salad, and I will eat it without a complaint... I guess I'm just a boring person, stuck in a boring life...

Nancy--I'm with you--I have no problem eating grilled chicken and salad everyday--if that makes us boring so be it! I don't have the cookbook because I don't like to cook. Throwing the tilapia in the oven is an accomplishment for me!

Nancy - I love the new cookbook. And, yes, it has pictures. I haven't seen the old cookbook, but I hear this one is better, if that helps.

Cassi & Lea Ann - Thanks for responding! That does help. I think I will get me the new cookbook as a reward. I haven't done anything to "reward" myself, other then that one bite of DS's KFC popcorn chicken the other night... Which I felt really bad about a second later, and drank an extra glass of water

purple no lites

brk:smoothie (1F)
snack: yogurt (1D)
lunch: salad with ff dressing(2V)(1C)
mid afternoon:juice (1F)
Dinner: we went out to eat and I did not get the fries. We went to Old Chicago and boy did the sandwiches and calzones look good. I stayed on course though and ordered an 8oz sirloin (2P), extra veggies (2V), 1 martini (2S), I had 5 of my fiances french fries which actually satisfied the craving of the fries I know that it was a no no but I dont feel guilty about it (1S and 1fat).

We then went to the movies and even though I WANTED the popcorn so badly I refrained. The COD told me that it will be reintroduced in maintence so I will have to wait.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
