May not be new to many of you, but I tried Skinny Gut Protein Shake today (just bought one packet at my local health store). Great Stats: Free of GMOs, Wheat, Gluten, Dairy with added digestive enzymes and probiotics. 140 Cal, 2.5 g Fat, 20 g Protein, 14g Carb, 10 g Fiber. It tasted pretty good just blended with spinach, water and ice.

The only active coupon at Nashua right now is $10.99 per box of HealthSmart Hot drinks (coupon code HSHOT). There aren't any reduced or free shipping codes active at the moment.

If you register your email for their newsletter you will get any new coupon codes as soon as they are released :)

Looks good, but remember to check how much of your RDA for vitamins, Omega3 and probiotics it covers - especially if you have it for more than one meal per day. Some vitamins build up in the body and cause toxicity; and you need to deduct the protein drink values from your daily pill popping regime. :)

I have not heard of this brand, and have not tried any of these. Others are more scrutinizing than I am but I think these look promising in terms of nutritional content.

They are the same products that Nashua Nutrition sells (Proti-Thin, ProtiDiet, HealthSmart) with a different name.

Found some packages of "Syntrax Cookies n Cream" in my cabinet today.... (these are the clear plastic bags from Nashua Nutrition). Trying to figure out Nutrition info on these packets. Are these bags considered a scoop? Not sure of info on NN....seems in general for all flavors. I KNOW I've seen this answer somewhere but I'll be darned if a search could bring it up for me!! Thx!!

If it's a little more than a 1/4 cup of powder, that would be one scoop - 100 calories, 4 carbs, 24g protein

Which alternative chicken soup is most like IP chicken soup in terms of both taste and calorie/carb/protein?

Great question. Definitely NOT ProtiDiet Chicken Flavored Soup!

Does anyone use the ISOflex protein powder? One scoop is ~ 110 calories, 0.5 carbs, and 27g protein. Just wondering if I could use this as a shake.

Does anyone want to share with me their alternative vitamin regimen (brand/dosage)? I really need to do some serious research on this front, but won't be able to get around to it for at least a week. In the meanwhile, I'm worried that I am going to suffer from a lack of potassium and magnesium. On the other hand, I'm nervous to over potassium-ate myself. It's a catch-22. :)

Anyway, any short-term advice would be appreciated. And I promise to do my own homework in a week or so.

I guess tastes differ. I'm using it as a substitute for the IP chicken soup. I like the IP version better, but with my doctoring, this one tastes good too. And is much cheaper. If anyone has another alternative sub for this, I'm open!
