I loved the Quest chips when I got them but it was hard for me to stop. I REALLY wanted a second bag. I will definitely get them but I have to watch the munchies and old habits taking over.

The Quest chips are nothing like the IP crisps - they're more like Baked Lays. Which is great for me because I hated the IP crisps and love Baked Lays. Many people don't like the texture of them - I think the complaint is that they turn papery if you chew them for too long. But I must eat SUPER fast (I totally do - I'm working on it!) because I've never had that problem. People love the Quest bars and I can't stomach them - that's why it's so important to try a large variety of things so you can find your favorites. The great thing about alternatives is that it's a lot more affordable to experiment!

I love it when my Nashua order comes in :)

Tried the Kay's Naturals Honey Almond cookie bites...those are DEFINITELY going into the regular rotation!

I was thinking they'll work great as a cereal - I already use vanilla RTD as "milk" in my Protidiet honey soy cheerios, and the cookie bites reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

Scorbett, that sounds like a FANTASTIC idea!! I'm a huge cereal fan - I'm going to see if I can grab a bag at Walgreens this weekend. Last time I went in there looking for them the salesgirl had no idea what I was talking about, but I know they sell the brand...

I love the Quest chips also, but have not tried the sour cream and onion yet--only sea salt, cheddar, and salt and vinegar so far. I can take them to work and it takes me a while to eat them as part of my lunch. Yum!

My favorite Quest bar by a long shot is double chocolate for my restricted. I save my restricted for the evening and I take a long time to eat them. I will read up here for other options. I will have to look for Kay's Naturals.

When I was on IP the first time I lived on the dark chocolate pudding. I don't think that anyone has ever found a decent sub for that, but throwing that out in case anything has changed. Thanks. :)

FYI, one of my local GNC stores got the chips in finally - BUT - even though I was hoping to get them locally to avoid shipping they are SO much more expensive! I think they were $2.99 a bag. Yikes!

Yeah GNC marks things up pretty high.

If you use the code ONAQUEST when you order direct from Quest, the shipping is free - I got 12 Quest bars for $25 and will probably keep doing it that way until they deactivate the code :)

darthkitten 11-12-2014 01:27 PM

scorbett - I tried that code the last time I ordered and it didn't work :(

Hmm...I will try it tonight when I get home (have to order anyway, and my work computer doesn't like their website's programming!). I will let you know if it's working!

IdealProteinNewbie 11-12-2014 08:05 PM

If you have a Gold Card they are $2.84 a piece, buy 3 get 1 free!

Comes out to $8.52 for 4 bags!

OK - it didn't work for me either, might be a one time use code :(

BUT I noticed that at www.vitaminshoppe.com they are selling boxes of Quest bars for $24.00 with free shipping! I like getting a variety box from Quest, but it would save me $9 every order if I just buy a whole box of one flavor at a time.
