Two exciting things today:

- dropped off 2 huge garbage bags of clothing that doesn't fit anymore to a local agency that is having a clothing give-away next week. I will miss some of those clothes that I really liked, but considering pants were actually falling off, I'm happy to be rid of them forever!

- made chocolate banana loaf and it was yummy!

The rest of the day is going to be great!

Ooh, chocolate banana loaf... that sounds so good!

I'm going to have to try some recipes tomorrow on my day off. I keep seeing chocolate zucchini cookies and I'm dying to try them! The chicken soup packet is a huge stand by since it's so versatile. My fave soup:

-sautee mushrooms in coconut oil with curry, salt, and roasted garlic
-add in zucchini
-add my premade chicken portion, chopped

Mix up your soup mix and heat and pour over veg/chicken mixture

This is the tastiest soup I've had yet!

I like the zucchini cookies, but I prefer the muffins. I've used different packets, cappuccino, butterscotch, etc. whatever I had! I've even used the ready-to-use pudding and if I don't cook it longer, it's almost like lava cake.

Your soup sounds awesome, I might have to try it!

The new week starts NOW and it will be AWESOME!
I cut out the MIO a few months ago too. It's not worth the chance of slowing down the losses.

That chocolate banana loaf sounds so good. I don't have any banana pudding packets, wonder how it would come out if I used a chocolate packet and banana extract.

Wuv your avatar pic is adorable. Pink is definitely your color.

Congrats on the success at your new clinic & have fun in Seattle. I went there for the first time last summer and it is amazing. It is so different from any other part of the country I've been to. Hopefully you'll have some time to do some sightseeing.

Does anyone know if kelp noodles are OP on Phase 1? They are made of kelp and water. Kelp is not on the P1 sheet, nor is any seaweed.

Joysh: I think some folks say "okay" because Algae is on the select veggie list & kelp is a seaweed (sorta similar )
It sure looks pretty low cal/carb & 0 fat

Judgement call there. I use Kelp granules as a seasoning.

Thanks, Lisa! I'm coaching a family member on IP because she lives in an area where there are no coaches. I wasn't sure what to answer on that one.

I remembered that the seaweed salad in Japanese restaurants is not OP, but I think that is because there may be some added sugar in the sauce.

This looks like it would be ok.

Just checking in myself and good to see everyone. I'm definitely thinking someone will make a fortune off those "skinnies" but I kinda felt like it looked like a big bandaid -- wonder how easily they come off??

Great to see you Wuv- agree that your avatar is ultra cute. Glad all is working well for you.

I have a shopping problem. I bought myself an "IDEAL cookbook" from my clinic because I just like to look through pictures in cookbooks. That was my Easter present to me instead of chocolate. Got home and went to put it in my cookbook cupboard -- and there is the exact one! Then I remembered I bought it for me for Christmas! LOL... I don't USE them that often, I just LIKE them....

Did you try it? I'm sure I would be great! Finished off mine today, not as good as the first day when still warm, but still yummy!

Sounds like you are doing great, Wuv! Those 50 dieters are really lucky to have you as a coach.

Seaweed is a general word for marine algae. So Kelp is algae and is fine.
