I love this 100% thread. There is a new thread posted this morning about cheating that I hope too many people will not listen to. This diet really works for the 100%ers. Cheating will not get you where you need to be.

You are so right! When a person cheats, they're only cheating themselves! No food is worth a cheat for me. I want the weight off!!!
I met with a new coach today.... What a freaking joke... Totally disappointed.
JellyMae,
Lovely new photo! Sorry about the coaching. Thankfully we all have this website and Wuv watching over us. I also don't have a coach and rely on the wisdom from our compatriots on 3FC.

Dana,
Where did you see that video? Was that one of the 14 initial IP TV videos?
thanks,

Well i'm happy to report that my trend of one good one bad loss is continuing with a 3.4 loss this week My mom and a friend are on my case saying i'm thin enough and its pissing me off, especially since my friend is 152 and 5'10" (i tried to explain to her how yes we're build differently but if she's ok at her weight, then it doesn't make sense that i would be ok at mine).
So 4 more lbs and i'm calling for a consultation to see how much lbs i have of loose skin and than will determine if i'm losing my last 10lbs or change my goal weight to 160lbs.
I thought the same thing when I saw the cheating thread salmongirl...I can't understand why anyone would choose this diet and also cheat...there are plenty of diets out there that it's easier to cheat on (like me on WW for years!)...we all have a different journey but any time I feel week I come back and read this thread because I plan to be 100% OP the whole way!

I feel the same way but you know what, in the long run...these are the people who will put the weight back on cause its not just about losing weight, its about control, will power and creating new habits.
I too was caught a little off guard with the new thread....however we can control what we put in our mouth not what others put in theirs.
One can only hope that people lurking are watching the maintainers and the 100% thread and see that 100% works....and really that and phasing off properly gets you into maintance.
If they read the book, the first post of the daily they will find the book and I truly hope they read it. I really REALLY bought into the program and the science behind it after I finished the book. Adding cheats here and there will not give your pancreas the rest it requires prior to resetting it though phasing off.
...each choice you make is yours not someone else's...
I just don't want all the new people to read that and think it is ok. But as you said, that cannot be controlled and there is so much positive stuff here that they are able to make a good choice if they want to.
Have a great day!

I saw the thread and had to take DEEP DEEP breathes because IF some of the newbies read this they will think its OK to cheat and still lose. I did not post in that thread because I would totally just go off.

Exactly, this is a STRICT program, you want more leeway than choose another program and those options are there for you BUT WE all know that the strictness of this program works a million time better than the rest. We are ALL successes of this program rather it being strictly IP or using alternatives. Its all in the mind set of the person and the determination. ALL of us on this thread HAVE THAT!...I AM VERY PROUD OF ALL OF US

They want quick fixes and don't wanna give it time to come off or let their bodies adjust. I do believe that taking the time to get to know your body and how it works the way we have has taught us how to eat and we WILL KEEP IT OFF....WE HAVE THAT KNOWLEDGE and take it to heart.
Omg, I had to remember to use my "indoor voice" responding to that cheating thread. Props to New Englander (another of my maintainer examples) for the direct response, curious to see how cheating works out in the long run, this program is pretty clear on that. 100% and proud!

I read it but I ain't listening! I'm listening and following the footsteps of the pros
Hi All, I'm finally ready to pop in here. I was 100% my first round of loss where I lost 85 pounds. I phased off to adjust to my new size and just was never able to get back on plan with any level of commitment. It's why I will harp on people not to phase off for a weekend event! I'm doing alternatives because I've realized I just don't feel good with the whey protein.
Anyway, I'm back on track and ready to stay the course even though I know I will be faced with a challenge of knee surgery on the 7th. The good thing is the bumm knee will keep me from trying to exercise too much.
WUV, I can help but notice you weigh less than I do. I hope you will take this with all the love and respect that is intended, but I intend to at least keep pace with you now!
So I'm almost at the end of my 3rd week... all has been going good. No headaches or any other complaints... but today I was so hungry that I had to have an extra this afternoon... it wasn't a craving, actually hunger. I am just hoping that this isn't going to be a regular occurance.
W1 -9.5
W2 -3.0

I'm not gonna lie Crustybuns....hunger was on my journey. Some days there some days not....I like tea on those hunger days! . Since you're a Canuck...can I recommend chocolately chai from superstore, or celestial seasoning Bengal (got mine at Safeway) spice OR vanilla nut from Stash (got it at a bulk barn).
These are my favorites...I've even chugged a bottle of water and gone to bed early...although that time I think it was to avoid emotional eating.
Its work...this diet...but soooo worth it!
Marion welcome to the thread......remind us on the 7th so we can send you some strong healing thoughts!
