I don't think that makes you carb sensitive...I think your body is "whoa what's this?"

When you phase off properly it will be ok...I'm 165 this morning. I'm almost into my second week of phase 3....breath in and out slowly....it will be ok

Thanks all for the words of wisdom and kindness..I am feeling lately and as I said before; it is not comfortable. But knowing that this is part of the process really helps as do your words of encouragement.

Ishbel, I love your advice. We are all here because we overate for some reason and we have to figure out the reason before we can solve the problem. LOL, I just took your very simple, concise message and complicated it!
I hope everyone has a great day and stays 100% OP! You all deserve it!

T minus 2 hours till WI #4.. I 'feel' lighter lol. Sometimes I wish I had a scale here at home, but I know it's best not to because I would abuse it and let the 'number' ruin my day... some old habits are hard to break.

But its mostly making me concern about doing phase 3 and 4, if that little bit of extra carbs is making me gain almost a lb a day..what will happen then! Maybe i'll have to go down a bit lower than what i had as a goal weight to have a bit of a cushion.

I'm glad though not to have so many restricted in a day, non restricted make me feel more in control as i crave carbs less.

Congrats on all the WI and NSV
Busymomx4...remember one if the first things they told us about this diet...1 pound of fat is 3500 calories beyond what you use to function. Since the max additional calories you could have taken in is 150-200 per day, it isn't the restricted that made you gain weight. I am not even sure that there were enough carbs in the restricted to cause you to start to replenish your glycogen stores. If there were enough carbs for that, remember for every 1 gram of glycogen you replace, there are 4grams of water attached. This is not a prediction of failure once you get to the end. This is your bodys natural ebb and flow of water. Big hug. Take a deep breath and trust IP. It is sound science and will do what it is supposed to if you trust it. The patience part...now that's a little harder, I know.

Big NSV today - first time someone who had no idea I was dieting noticed I was losing weight...such a good feeling! She immediately wanted all the details when I told her I'd lost over 20 lbs since March 31. Yeah 100%!

Trust the system, trust the system... back from WI #4... down 3 whoo hoo. I have finally hit a new milestone. 149. This has been a long road from 280 way back when and every diet under the sun. This by far compared to the others in an 'enjoyable' trip.

That's great!

Do you know I have had next to no one who doesn't already know I am on a diet say anything about my weight loss. I've lost just about 86 pounds now, and you can definitely tell I've lost a lot of weight. Finally about a week ago I ran into someone I haven't seen since last November, and she kind of hinted about it once we started talking. She said she really wanted to ask what I have been doing, but didn't want to be too noisy. I told her to ask away. I've decided this must be a southern thing; being very polite and minding your own business.

Hi LSJ. I noticed that you mention your coach having you on 4 packets/day until you get under 200 lbs. Did they specifically tell you that you'd move to 3 packets/day when you got below the 200 lb mark? I'm asking because I started IP at a clinic 6 weeks ago now and my coach started me at 4 packets/day. I weighed about 209 when I started. I switched to alternative products quite early on so I've lost my coach, and I've been wondering if I should drop down to 3 packets/day now that I've lost some weight. From what I've read here, most posters seem to have been on 3 packets/day from the beginning (with the option often of taking a 4th 'if needed' or when adding strenuous exercise to their regime.
