Goode Morning everyone, Just hanging out with my daughter today. Working on a few of the housework that needs to get done. I think I may even paint my room today. I bought the paint 3 days ago, lol still haven't got around to it. Suppose today is the day.

Well looking into the cookbook (Chef Verati) for some recipes I can try. Some recipes call for Walden Farms products. Suppose I need to find walden farms, Walmart has NOTHING.

Congrats Shanco!

My husband is taking me out to dinner tonight for our anniversary. When I first started, 5 weeks ago, he asked me if this plan allowed me to have one night off so I could "enjoy" myself. I said, well, I could but it would set me back for about a week and it would be a waste of money, plus, physically just not worth it! So, can you guess what I am going to do? Stay 100% ON PLAN tonight at our dinner! It is a surprise as to where we are going. He even wants to blindfold me. LOL! I will stay OP and STILL ENJOY myself because what is worth it to me is the time spent with him, not the food.

I have lost 25lbs in 5 weeks and I don't want to mess it up!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning all you IPers! Feeling good. Major challenge tonight, going to dinner at a German restaurant tonight with my sister and Fiancee. Way too many temptations! But in life there will always be challenges. It's how you handle them that makes the differences! Wish me luck...

I've been IP since Monday and I've done a lot better than I thought I would! I have the willpower of a spaghetti! I'm determined this time as I want to lose over 70lbs! I do,still get hungry - I made some small mistakes in the first week, did not realize you could not have onions so had probably 1/2 cup over two dinners! Had a steak for dinner last night that I forgot to weigh! I've overlooked and burnt a fe wof my souls, cappuccinos etc! It's been fun! Weekends are super hard for me as it was always my downtime and socializing time.

It's hard as I can't comprehend a get together with friends without food or where I won't go off the rails! I have a friend whose called the food pusher there are days when my husband and I leave and we are so stuffed we can hardly move!

Ive a long way to go so these boards wi ll help me out. I find as soon as,I start to think about how much I have to lose and how long it's gonna take I get despondent and then I change my mindset to one day at a time!

Hope that helps others too!

Morning everyone! Sun is shining brightly here today and I'm feeling pretty energetic! I'm a little over a week doing OP and it is getting better everyday. (I did slip yesterday as I was mixing up something for supper and I licked my finger -oops one habit I will need to break!)
I do have a question... I drink all the water that I am suppose to, but my mouth (tongue) feels dry. Does this mean I am in ketosis? I did buy the strips and it says that I am, but I was just wondering if this is one of the signs.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good mornin'. How is everyone this morning? I hope all is well in the land of IP'ers. I had WI 6 yesterday and lost another 4.2 lbs, making for 41.4 lbs in 6 weeks. This diet is amazing. I feel great. Even started jogging a little bit last night. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Happy anniversary. Just make sure the surprise restaurant has something you can order. And most importantly - have a great time!

I'm sure you will do great as you have the right attitude.

I also have a lot to loose, so I've always set a goal for myself to loose 10 pounds a month and I look no further then that. So far I've made my goal every month.

Dry mouth is definitely a sign of ketosis no matter how much water you drink.

I hope everyone has a great IP Saturday, and a big to all you loosers (in IP speak being a looser is a great thing) today!

I'm noticing a lot of you use decimals in your weight loss. What kind of scale are you using. Any preferences??
