@ Miranda - How exciting! So happy for you! Way to go girl!
This morning waiting on the snow! We are supposed to get 6-12 inches...alot for us!
I was cutting up veggies for soup, one set for my family and one set OP for me! While I was cutting up deer meat I slice the end of my thumb off! UGGG!
Trip to the urgent care and 10 stiches later I am back to making soup.
Here's to everyone: Have a GREAT day and keep reminding yourself "I am so worth it" Peace my friends!
Week 16 and still 110% OP and going strong! Only takes a few weeks to know the ins and outs of this diet! Thank you for the support and information from all IPers out there!!! Woo hoo!!!
Good Sunday morning. I see it's starting as slow today as it was almost all day yesterday.
I have to work at home today. I have a project I've been assigned to that I haven't touched for weeks because of "fighting fires" at work all of the time. My boss suggested one day at home on the weekend with no phone calls, no emails, no interruptions since no one else will be working. MY husband is at work all day today, so hopefully, I can get something accomplished.
Have a great OP day. Be careful those of you in the east as the rain we had all day yesterday looks like it's packing a punch for you further north.
I hear you on the no phone calls or emails. I work at home managing 4 coach buses for one of the casino's here and I have not had a day where I can turn my phone off or not answer email's ....HR got wind of it and told me I had to turn my phone OFF for 2 days a week....I laughed at her and said who will do it if I don't??...she said train someone...i was like OK...(thinking..yea right) I have time "off" in between runs so its all works out. Hope you get some work done today!

GOODBYE 240'S! muahaha!
That means in almost 6 weeks on IP I've lost 20.5lbs!
Average: 3.42lbs!
WHOOP WHOOP!!!....you go girl...SOOOOO proud of you for sticking to it....I am going to catch up with you....ONE DAY!....hahaha
The weather here is better than yesterday, still cloudy but not raining so that is a good thing. I hope those of you waiting for snow don't get it too bad and stay safe.
Hey! I just started the Ideal Protein Diet.. Day 7 today! Yesterday was so hard! I wasn't hungry but I had cravings for EVERYTHING!!! I didn't eat anything but it was sooooo hard.. I felt like giving up!! Anyone else experience this? Does it go away?? I also hateee the soups and I wasn't sure what to get because I didn't try anything so I purchased the drink mixes for breakfast.. also hate those!! When I go back, I'm going to try the vanilla and chocolate shakes for both breakfast and lunch! You all seem to be doing GREAT! Congratulations! I hope I can do it too! ... I just found this site today! I was wondering how you get the measurement thing.. that shows your weight loss and goal? Any help is appreciated!
I too went thru this! It IS hard! Make sure to get some pudding mix, I love them all. I make the muffins alot! Cures my craving for cake! There are lots of way to mix this up and make it work for you. I am starting my 4th week and I must say the cravings do go away. Once you seen the scale you will realize it's all worth it. So far I have lost 15lbs and 18 inches. I do get discouraged when I see all the big numbers lost here, BUT I staop and think 15lbs really? 3 Weeks REALLY! Don't give up! You are so worth it! Love and peace!
NEVER EVER compare yourself to ANYONE HERE!!!.....WE are ALL INDIVIDUALS and lose at different rates. Just stay POSITIVE, follow the sheet and it will come off
Also I have to share a NSV that I had yesterday.
I put on some "old" jeans that were 26's [I'm now in a 20] & they were tight back in December! I could put them on OVER my jeans and they were STILL falling off!

Ouch...are you okay? Also, what does dear meat taste like? I don't think I ever had it.

Deer Meat is very lean, and if cooked right is just like beef! My husband is a hunter so we eat lots of wild game! Deer, rabbit, turkey, and squirrel. I cook alot in the crock pot, and pressure cooker! I made my soup with turnips, meat, and some tomatos ( not too much) the tomatos are from our garden, I also can beans, corn, peppers etc> Nice to have fresh veggies!

Yes I am fine! Did get the tip out of my soup!!! HAHAHA! Although my kids did laugh and say we eat everything else... even road kill...(which we do not!) so what difference is a thumb gonna make!
